Good morning!
We are up and getting ready for the day. I am going shopping in Nj with my stepmom. We are leaving in an hour and I haven't even gotten into the shower yet.
I need coffee.

Morning everyone! I have a bunch of errands to run this morning. I have to cram it all in to be home for 11 so that N doesn't fall asleep in the car. The day gets ruined when she decides to take a nap in the car, and when girlfriend decides it's time to nap, there's no stopping her especially in the car.

I have a blood draw today and W has her 18 month appointment-right at nap time. Should be interesting.

My mom wants to tag along though so maybe it will work out.

The 6 year old is home with a fever. I guess I won't be going out to get my craft supplies.

Kid has a dentist appointment this morning so another day in a row of nothing fun. But she's still sick so I wouldn't take her to story time anyways so I guess it works out. Maybe this afternoon I will let her paint for something different.

I have MOPS this morning. It is our Christmas party so I am looking forward to that.
Other then that I really need to clean the house before my work week starts tomorrow.

Or I might go finish painting mine and H projects that we started last night at the paint your own pottery store.

Can you explain to me what MOPS is? A mom from the library invited me but she didn't really tell me what it was. I'm not religious but I felt awkward telling her that.

I MOPS stands for mothers of preschool children. We meet twice a month and we have an assigned table that we sit at. Each meting has breakfast prepared by another table. It is a chance to meet other. One in your area. Each meeting will have a topic of discussion. The last one was about gentle parenting. We had an author come in and speak to us. During October we had members speak about child loss at one of the meetings. One of the other meetings was about financial planning.
There is a religious aspect since there is a prayer to close the meeting.
I grew up catholic so that does not bother me.
Over all I find it nice to be around other moms who just want someone to talk to.

I know you can go to a meeting and try it for free to see if it is something that you would like.

Poor DS was coughing so hard last night he threw up all over his crib. DH and I had to change his sheets and pajamas and wipe him off at like 1030. Then I held him in the recliner from 130-3. I know DH got up with him at some point. He only has a cough and runny nose. I think I'm going to get some of the Zarbee's cough syrup to try. I know someone posted about it the other day. Anyone else used it?

Hi ladies! Went to bed at 9:45 last night because I was so tired from Eli being up the night before. So yeah-- no birthday nookie for DH yesterday so I guess I'll have to make up for it. Lol

We went to Outback last night and it was soooo good. Haven't had a steak and shrimp in forever.
I'm thankful I brought snacks for Eli because he was very hungry and screeching. People around us were glaring, and I felt bad because I could tell some were on dates.
Sigh...out to eat with kids adventures!

Your 1st meeting is free. There is a 70 or 60 fee for the entire year or there is an option of 25 dollars and then pay 5 for every meeting you attend. They also offer childcare during the meeting. I have my son in daycare so he goes to that.

Morning ladies. I'm sitting at the car dealership having yet another recall fixed on my car. There's a weird old man sitting. Ear me and I hope he leaves soon. Super awkward sitting here watching an infomercial with 6 strangers.
Also, while I was waiting in line to drop off my keys, this man that works here made a comment that I'm not sure if he was talking to me or the little girl in front of me that was with her mom. What he said makes more sense that he would be talking to the little girl, but he was looking at me. If he was talking to me, I feel like I was sexually harassed. I hope my car is ready soon.

My Grandpa's wife just texted all of us about his colonoscopy, and included a wrong number. The person was nice about it, but we're all loling at the thought of a stranger getting that text.

M saw the dentist this morning again. They're not too worried about her lip tie, just said to wait and see so that's what we'll do. They did say her thumb sucking habit is pushing her front teeth forward 😕 But that as long as she stops by kindergarten it's fine.

Went to see Santa. That was a dud. She wouldn't even leave my arms. So I ended up in the pic.

I've got lots of housework to catch up on and I need to finish projects for my moms group homemade gift exchange. I'm crocheting a bunch of ornaments. Does that seem stupid? It's suppose to be a $15 limit but since I'm just using yarn I have all I had to buy was some pipe cleaners for an angel. I feel like I should add something else but I'm not sure what.
