I'm starting potty training DS1 today. He really doesn't want to but he's physically ready but really doesn't want to sit on the potty. So, it's time, but it's not going well so far. Uggh.
Also DS2 can go 6-7 hours at night without eating, no problem, but he still wakes up every hour unless he's sleeping next to me with my arm under his head. Nothing I've tried has worked to get him back in his crib.

kakicl0ud we're working on transitioning to the crib too. We've moved from my arms to the snuggle nest next to me so I'm able to get some sleep. Next step is the crib.
My random - the songs stuck in my head these days are the ones coming from LO's toys. Most of the time, I find them quite pleasant and relaxing. The rest of the time, it reminds me that I need to crawl out from under this rock and rejoin adult society.
I spent valentine's sucking snot out of LOs nose. He's still so congested it's not even funny. DH had another show last night and didn't get to sleep til 4 am so not break for me til he wakes up. This is the second day in a row like this. Exhaustion knows no bounds.
So I bought the nose frida yesterday and used it. Works great when LO doesn't scream bloody murder, but I can't get over the method...how am I not sucking in his germs? That sponge doesn't seem THAT good....

Dinner last night was amazing. I made stuffed salmon, garlic potatoes and corn. I also grabbed the Gouda for a platter. When I think of romance. I think of our trip to Jamaica. So I copied some of our favorite platters. DH loved it. Also I got me and DS all dressed up for him. I wore a dress and enjoyed a glass of wine in the first time over a year.
welp, if it happened, then at least I have a buddy! HA!
Lol!!
Should we all take a test two weeks from yesterday? When we woke up this morning H rubbed my tummy and said 'how is number 2 coming along?' Lol and then also 'let's buy some more condoms?' I told him if he got those condoms now that absolutely means I'm pregnant lol. Because that's how life is

No chance of a nov. Baby for us seriously dh & I haven't gone to bed at the same time in weeks. Lo is a great sleeper, just tends to go down a bit late. He was so crabby AND wide eyed last night. Every Time I thought he was asleep his eyes would pop open. Needless to say, he fell asleep around midnight and woke up ... At 7 ... Yes 7 am this morning ... He was all smiles too. Not sure what this kid is up to but I'll take it.
Dh & I had a lovely surf & turf dinner w/ chocolate molten cake (which I added peanut butter to ... It was fantastic). We then binge watched sons of anarchy (while lo nursed) ... How's that for romantic?
Speaking of all this knocked up business, anyone know what the recommended time between a csection and a pregnancy is? I have a fear of ripping something should we have a slip up.....it's not a pleasant thought

I dont really think that we are. There are no signs of fertile fluid, and I am EBFing and my period hasn't returned. I know its not impossible, but I am reassured that I have had like 0 signs that my fertility is back.
I did get on DH's case again after about scheduling his vasectomy. He realllllllllly needs to get on it...
High of 30 today and dh is at work so the little lady and I are cuddling on the couch. Excited to try out the zippidee zip for afternoon nap! The small looks huge, so I'm not too hopeful.
tacocat hope your DS feels better soon! Poor little guy (and mom)
Hi ladies! I actually have some free time to catch up and post.
cookielover I constantly have DS's playmat song stuck in my head. It's so annoying.
DS was diagnosed with RSV about a week and a half ago. We had just transitioned him to the crib, like literally his first night was the night before he got sick. So back to our room he went. Last night we tried the crib again and it went terribly. DS was up every hour until we brought him back to our room at around 2am. I don't know if it's because he's still congested or because, according to Wonder Weeks, he just started his 4th leap and the 4 month "sleep regression" is hitting early.

I'm sure every doctor has their own preference, but at my 8 week follow-up, my doc said I should wait at least 6 months to get pregs again. I think the biggest issue is the labor & delivery—that timeline puts the next delivery at around 17-18 months after LO's DOB, which is a pretty standard rec.
Thanks ladybird my regular visit is next month but that's reassuring in the meantime. When I was having LO doc asked as she was stitching me up if I was going to try vbac or repeat for number 2. I told her I wanted to get done with the first before I decided lol..but I do wonder why she asked. I'll chat with her then.
Good luck potty training kakicl0ud! What's your method?
I had a hilarious nose frida fail last night, and my baby had no idea why I was laughing at her. But I couldn't stop. What I was trying to get in the little tube got stretched across her cheek....
songbirdsinging55 You look so pretty! I'm glad all you ladies had a good time last night. We had a day date, and while it was a great day, there's no maybe baby here!

Same here with the EBF and still no AF. So it is a slim chance

I agree. I feel like I'm asking a lot of the small blue sponge.
I really thought I was going to be one of those lucky ladies that doesn't get AF the entire time she's EBFing, but no. That bitch decided to show up last week at just shy of 14 PP. Sigh.
