vinolove - No need to explain yourself. We've all been there and baby sleep is the absolute worst. Sleep deprivation is torture and it sucks. Full stop.
Hugs vinolove. You're a badass mother who takes care of her business. I'm here for you anytime, just a text away. J will sleep better eventually, sooner rather than later hopefully.
Also lately I find myself worried about Col being too sedate, which is how I find myself playing outside in the cold for an hour - whatever it takes to get him moving. Anyhow less than a minute of Callan's energy exhausted me, so...

We went to the kids party and got to sit in a fire truck, but they closed the bounce house when it was our turn, after at least 20 min in line. Ohh boy, that was not cool. So we had the kids run sprints and hills for fun, ha and then J insisted we stay for the fireworks. I forgot I have a newborn and now am pretty sure N will have hearing loss because I took her to fireworks at 5 weeks. I'm an idiot.
MH just went to bed and is grumpy that he was cleaning today, which he offered to do. Glad he's making me so glad to be home...
I just stocked up on target diapers, wild night here! Guess I should go to bed too.

Meanwhile my grandpa posted on facebook, "Made it home just before the ball dropped. Had a few dances in the kitchen to ring in the new year". Adorable little party animals.
Happy new year! We got home a little bit ago (it's almost 2am) and I'm nursing S to put her down, DH is taking care of H. I'm gonna crash hard when I hit the bed. I didn't hardly make a dent in my champagne bottle.
Ahhh is this where I put that Miss J, at 7 weeks old last Tuesday, wore 6 month pyjamas to bed. I cannot believe it.
Yep, this is my kids, too. B typically wore double his age in sizes until this year (I.e, 24 months/2T at 12 months old), and C is on track to do the same. #giantbabies
Getting ready for my first run of the year, just a quick one to enjoy the fact that it's almost 40 before sunrise. Chase let everyone sleep for a second night in a row so aside from DH's coughing (which I am legitimately concern about), it was a peaceful one.
Oh and re: sizing. I think Chase has stopped following Colin's curve somewhat recently. He was wearing some pajamas that I distinctly remember Col wearing at the same age. They were super stretched out on Col in both length and roominess; not so much for Chase. It'll be interesting to compare his stats at his much delayed 9 month appointment.

Happy New Year, everyone! My kids celebrated how I'm sure many of yours did, by sleeping terribly! We have nothing on the agenda today which is just fine by me.
We stayed up til midnight watching a movie, then I read for awhile, and I cannot stop yawning this morning. C had a good night so I should've taken advantage.
Our plans today include taking the tree down (it will be much easier without B around) and then this afternoon we'll head to my parents' to eat and watch football. I'm making a couple different appetizers to take.
Happy New year! My FIL just arrived...A few hours early, so it's going to be a long day. I'm hiding in the kids room nursing.
I asked John which toys he wants to put away to make room for new ones and he said everything but his new presents and his mailbox, ha. I'm sure that would go over well if we actually did that.
We went to our favorite breakfast place for our traditional first breakfast of the year. Chase ate scrambled eggs and made a mess and Col housed a Mickey-shaped pancake. DH and I are both ready for a nap... Too bad Col is full of energy!
