snoopmommymom weird coincidence, I may know someone on the plane with you. I went to highschool with her and she just posted on fb that she was on a plane headed where you're headed and from the same area as you. This is her first trip since her kids were born, boy and girl. She just had her little girl a month or two ago.
I have a hair appointment today! I had to reschedule from a few weeks ago and am definitely in need of some hair therapy! C has her 6 year WCC after school today. I'll have a few hours in between the end of my appointment and picking C up from school, so I'm hoping to get in a few errands.
Currently waiting out J to get his freaking sweatshirt and coat on so we can go to school. He tried getting in our bed twice last night, whereas the 6 week old slept until 5..

Hi Friends. Despite it being Friday, I'm in a pretty bad mood (work stuff). So I'm drinking a cup of coffee and blasting Ellie Goulding channel on I heart radio.
I hope you have a great time snoopmommymom. Yay for getting away and enjoying adult time w yh (I'm doing the same next month!).
Back from breakfast. Will you guys let me know if I'm being crazy? Last time I went to this diner was pre-kids, so it's been a while. Josie and I split an egg white omelette with broccoli, tomato, and feta, with a side of sausage. It came with toast and home fries. I ordered a regular black coffee. There was no extra cost for splitting the plate. It was $19 and change. I know I live in a high cost of living area, but that seems insane to me.
Unless by diner you mean fine dining establishment? That is high.

Living the same place as you, seems completely normal. $10 omelet, $2 up charge for egg white, $3 coffee, tax.

wedding to test a cat for a uti does it have to be a urine sample or would they be able to see it in the blood work? Last time my cat went to the vet and they wanted a urine sample he literally held it for 8 hours refusing to pee. As soon as we got home he rushed to his box and peed for forever. He has high anxiety so he doesn't like new places or people and literally shuts down.
ETA: I just googled. It looks like they use a needle into the bladder to get urine. Well, wth was that other vets office waiting for? Good thing I don't go to them any more!
I'm dreading today. It will be long. I have my pining on ceremony at work tonight and even though it will literally only be about 3 minutes I'm so nervous about it and can't wait until it's over with. I have anxiety about doing something stupid in front of a crowd in those situations. I have no problem with public speaking or performing in front of a large audience but stuff like this where might mis-hear the other person freaks me out.
The girls were upset when I was packing last night. :/
And our dishwasher and washing machine are broken. MH might have to buy new ones this weekend and my control freak over that stuff is freaking out. He's nervous about it too. He's bad about salesmen taking him for a ride. He spent all this time at the store last night and had me look up one the salesperson was trying to talk him into. It was overpriced and had horrible ratings. I'm trying to have faith the appliance God's will push him in the right direction and will research all I can at work today.

That sounds very insane. That should have cost less than $10

But I'm also jaded because we live in a VVVHCOL.
I think it sounds about right for what we'd pay here, too.

Are toddler hooded towels a thing or have you all moved on to regular towels? I still use hooded baby towels for Cadence, but they are obviously getting too small....
I expect to pay a lot for lunch and dinner. Even simple things pizza and sandwiches are expensive here, but eggs are like the cheapest thing on the menu. It probably was just as expense 3 years ago and I didn't even register it.
Even when I take the boy to IHOP for pancakes, it always ends up being $30 for the two of us. But you're right, it's always been like that, you're just noticing it now.

We got the bigger hooded animal towel from PB since I think they are adorable and it is huge but still very cute.

Less than $10? I'm moving to where you are!
Yeah, I think so. A black coffee would be like $1 and then the omlette would be around 7/8$. I will say that I don't go to diners much so I could google one of the places here to double check.

I have a couple for H. They are from kohls and target. The target ones are in the regular towel section.

I am trying to make a concerted effort to cut down on how much we spend on food. It's an astronomical amount each week. Too many grocery store trips, so much eating out, way too many coffee trips.
Us too. Easily our biggest expense. Well, besides travel. And maybe shoes.
