L got up at 6:30, we are playing while the boys sleep. I have my sister's bachelorette party today. I'm kinda hung over from drinking not that much wine last night, so I'm kinda scared for today.

And C is up! He calls L "super girl" on occasion. No clue where he got it, but it's so cute. He says in a super sweet voice, "hey! What are you doing you super girl?". Cracks me up.
Morning. DH's alarm woke me up. I put Chase down in his crib a bit before midnight, but that lasted about half an hour. Then I held him for a couple hours before sneaking him into the swing, where he's been for about 4 1/2 hours now. He's going to the pediatrician as early as possible! I will probably skip out on the rally, which really sucks. But I feel awful after less than 4 hours of sleep.

That is adorable! That would be a cute nickname to stick. Col calls Chase "baby Chase", unless if he's trying to cheer him up or make him stop crying, then it's "Chasey".
Well, DH, B and I all have some form of the plague. Fortunately, Caroline is still healthy, and slept 10 hours solid last night, so at least we aren't dealing with MOTN wake-ups while we're sick.
Nothing on the agenda this weekend except being miserable together, and trying to not infect anyone.

Feel better, Liz family! And can Caroline come tell Lue to sleep 10 hours??
Chase is all smiles this morning. There was a yellow stain on his sheet and there is still a lingering smell. The office opens in about 20 minutes so we'll see what they say.

I know. I almost died when I read that. You're killing me Liz! I have a 1 year old that has never slept 10 hours straight!
It is the dumbest of dumb luck--I wish I had some miracle solution I could provide (so I could write a book and make millions, muahaha). I think this girl just loves to sleep. Apparently my sister was this way, too.
Good morning! I'm having my 3 best friends from work and their families over today. It's going to be in the 50ies so we are going to BBQ. Have to make a Costco run in a few.

Omg, if B wasn't 3 I'd say she was totally on her period. Totally woken up on the wrong side of the bed and just a colossal brat this morning. We had to leave ballet early because she was throwing a fit and wouldn't cooperate.
X occasionally STTN. It's completely sporadic, and the next night he may get up 5 times. I'm certain we're dealing with the 4MW here because when he gets up MOTN he hardly takes any milk and is wide awake for 90 minutes - 2 hours.
My almost 5 month-old is getting 12 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period. WTF?
My only goal involves finding some way to adjust my attitude because I'm feeling super bitchy about not sleeping.
And my fibro is acting up, predictably. When I'm not getting enough rest, I wake up feeling like I was thrown down a flight of stairs. Everything hurts.

C was like this. I remember going back to work and a coworker who's baby was a month older looked exhausted and was like, "how tired are you? Getting up every two hours is so rough". I smiled, nodded and thought to myself, "that does sound exhausting, but C sleeps 10-11 hours..."
And really, I can't complain about L. She's pretty good.

Same. People used to always tell me I just be so tired. And I'd think yeah, cuz I stayed up late doing x or y. S just knew how to sleep early. I always knew I was lucky. I wish I realized just how lucky!!

It stormed pretty bad overnight until about mid morning here. The weather did a number on us all because we slept in pretty late. I needed it because I battled with congestion last night until 1am. I just wanted to sleep but couldn't breathe after trying everything- essential oils, vapor rub, 2 medicines, humidifier on, switching positions- it sucked! I want this cold to go away and I'm spraying Lysol like crazy so I don't pass it to M or MH. I'll be popping Airborne all day and lazing around for the most part.
lahdeedah88 hope you feel better soon! I think those storms are headed our way overnight tonight and tomorrow. It's gorgeous here today so I hate that we're all sick and not able to enjoy it; I'm sure tmrw we'll be feeling better and trapped inside 😜

Hi all! We are back from the March and it was great. My friend saved the day and had me park at his office 2 blocks from the capitol building, so we just walked around and there SO many people! Amazing. We hung out for an hour and my mom met up with her friend and then N and I headed back. It gives me hope seeing the turnout around the world.
Hey ladies. I'm at work. This morning I went grocery shopping at Aldi, I spent $100 and got almost everything I need. I call that a win. I will go to the regular grocery store on Monday or Tuesday to get the rest. Work has been quiet so far, no one is in labor today I guess.
S was a great sleeper from 6 weeks until about 6 months. Since then she's gotten teeth or had an EI. We wake up 2 times a night usually. Plus H wakes up at least once a night so hopefully she knocks that off soon. Someday I will sleep through the night, but that day is not today. Oh well, I knew what I was getting myself into by having kids.
Chase is fine. His ear is infected but apparently not terribly. Considering he was on antibiotics in both December and November, we're going to give it a chance to clear on its own. Doctor suggested Motrin all day for a few days and Benedryl for a few nights to ease his congestion. He seems totally fine today, it's kind of maddening.
I am exhausted but I did make it to the Hartford rally. The estimate was 10,000 people and it was pretty amazing. So many families, lots of Dads, multiple generations, etc. I'm so glad we were part of it.
