I tried to go to the Gymboree outlet to get B some clothes in the Parison pup line (dachshund in Paris), but they said they don't carry the things you see online only the regular stores do. The mall has a regular store, but B was tired of shopping and it was too cold to drag her to another place. I am going to go on my own once DH is back from the gym
She also won't nap. When I put her down after our outlet trip she messed around for a bit and then yelled EWWWWWW Poop. I changed her, gave her an early lunch, and she is back in again fooling around.

After up and down with thinking Lillie was better, and then back to bad again we just bit the bullet and took her in to the ER for IV fluids. It took a total of 5 effing hours to get out of there (this is from walking in the door, waiting FOREVER, getting an xray of her chest because of her cough which has been causing vomiting, and finally getting the IV and waiting for that to get in her system to getting out of there). About 15 minutes into the IV process she sat up and starting pointing around babbling which was amazing since all she's really done for almost 2 weeks is sit and cry or sleep. She slept all night, woke up to eat a good breakfast (more than she ate all day yesterday) and went back down for a nap. As hard as it was, I am glad we took her in.
I'm freezing my face off. This weather is miserable.
I went off the deep end this weekend and had way too much sugar (drinks/snacks with friends on Friday and Saturday night, then just an all-day crap-fest on Sunday), and now I'm all puffy and I feel like I have a hangover. On the bright side, that was more than enough motivation for me to get up earlier to work out this morning and get back on track with my food.
I think I smell poop, so now I need to go smell Cam's butt.

I had my sister's Bridal Shower this weekend. It was a shit ton of work, but everything turned out great. Her and her fiance got a lot of great gifts. We didn't have it catered or anything, and the food was excellent. We also made the favors. It was so nice, and the mimosas were flowing for sure.
I am also sad b/c I saw a picture of me and did not like what I saw. So I started a diet, and I am using this app called, "My Fitness Pal." The app is great, it breaks down how many calories you have eaten (based off of the food you log on there) and what percentage is carbs, fat, and protein. I'm hoping to lose a little bit of weight and tone for the wedding in April. I think I just want to lose like 15 pounds, mayyyybe 20. Nothing crazy.
I forgot to bring my gloves home this weekend and my hands got super wind chapped. Now they're cracking and all red. I found Sierra Nevada Summerfest beer at my local Giant Eagle for only $1.10 a bottle. So I grabbed a 6-pack of that. I'm excited to try it, maybe it will trick me in to thinking it's not negative 1 million degrees outside.
I ended up buying B a ton of dachshund stuff at Gymboree in different sizes. Don't want her to look dachshund obsessed ;-)
I do this all the time when I find a great clearance sale! I just buy the same thing in a ton of sizes, same with consignment and garage sales. I have bins up to size 6/7 right now!
jessicainwa I'm sorry you had to go to the ER, but I'm glad It helped.
It was a hard decision but she was in a cycle where she would eat or drink a little, then feel better and then crash again. She definitely needed it - it made her so mad (obviously, for good reason) when they put the IV in and there was only one sad little tear that came out. She was definitely dry
My job never shovels or salts when we get snow or ice. This morning, I went flying down a flight of steps. I'm already bruised which means i should look like a plum tomorrow. I'm so pissed!
Ouch, that really sucks. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
I'm excited for tonight. Our building is having residents appreciation week. Yesterday they left a rose at everyone's door. Tonight we have a wine and cheese event in the lobby. They have sephora coming to do makeovers. I can't wait.
deeds1017, yeah so far management has done a really amazing job making the residents feel special. Before they took over, the building was falling apart and the reviews of the previous management were terrible. This company bought the buildings and is putting something like 700 million into renovating the 5 buildings. Ours is the first one to be complete so I think they are going out of their way to make people really like it so they can fill the other buildings as soon as they are ready. I don't know if the special treatment will last, but so far it's great.
