Morning. Chase sort of woke up coughing around 4 but got himself back to sleep, but we weren't quite so lucky at 5. Then DH was snoring and I gave up hope for my one sleep-in of the week.
Anyhow just pumping so I can bundle up and go to running group. Then we're finally doing Christmas with my brother and SIL this afternoon. I haven't seen them in ages, plus they have a new dog, so I am looking forward to it.

Happy weekend! We have a busy day. Workout classes then a baby shower and a birthday party. I'm kinda dreading the shower cause I only know the guest of honor and I'm slightly socially awkward when I don't know anyone. Please let there be wine!
JoeLies, you'd fit right in around here. I know so many people who either still have their tree up or just took it down within the past week. Same with Christmas lights.
Oh wow. I would be going insane if I still had indoor Christmas stuff up! I think it's kinda depressing after the holiday is over.
Good morning! I'm laying in bed with my two youngest. Big boy is at hockey. T loved his lesson Sunday and asks every morning "do I have a game today?" Last night I went to a tricky tray for the kid's school and DH went to a tricky tray for the hockey club. Today I need to find my house under this mess and plan our summer vacations.
We are skipping gymnastics today so she can go to a classmate's birthday party. After the party I'm taking her to Target to get a one piece swimsuit for her first swimming lesson tomorrow. She is very excited, but I'm not really sure she understands what will be happening. Since we had to cancel our byob painting class tonight I decided to just go to the movies by myself. I'm going to go see Rings. I'm pretty sure it will be dumb, but I love the original, so whatever. Plus, it gets me out of the house and I won't have to deal with bedtime.
Morning. Relaxing at home the heading to my parents for an ice fishing tournament on the lake they live on. I'll stay back at the house with H and Dh is going to take N out for her first time ice fishing. It's just a 2 hour tournament which is nice so our whole day isn't consumed.
H is finally back to his normal sleep schedule. Makes me wonder if the antibiotics weren't hurting his stomach since he hasn't had a midnight wake up since he stopped the antibiotics.
N came into our room at 4 and climbed right up in bed. I didn't mind but don't want it to be every night. I also ordered the ok to wake clock yesterday so we'll see if that helps.
Morning time. I got off the waitlist for a soul cycle class 20 min before it started and got there to find out it's right next to the stage...No pressure for first class back to back! Felt great to sweat though.
MH is overehelmed in life so I guess I'll be doing most of the parenting in hopes he stops complaining about how stressed he is.
Morning! Mil is picking up H in a little bit to take her to some activity at the library. I have to work this afternoon, so I will probably be lazy until it's time to leave.
I'm at work all weekend, so far so good. C slept all night in her bed and was so proud of herself this morning! Fingers crossed it continues. H slept through the night in our bed but, I got sleep. One battle at a time.
I stopped at Target yesterday to pick up the curtains C wanted for her room and turns out they were 1/2 off on clearance! Score! We also got a stuffed unicorn head for her wall. She was in love the moment she laid eyes on it 😊

Morning! I'm at gymnastics w Millie. I haven't come the last two weeks (my dad brought her one week then my brother last week) and she has finally turned a corner with it. She's doing great! Not needing me to be with her and pushing herself. I'm so proud! I think it was good for me not to be present for a bit so she can get more confident. Proud mama over here. Millie is so cautious and careful. It's great to see her confidence grow.
DH got home last night and thankfully both kids took pity on us and slept late this morning (8:30!!) so we didn't have to jump up. I met a girlfriend for breakfast and now I'm taking C out shopping with my mom. I want a pair of cute tennis shoes to wear to the park, etc.-- I'm usually there in flats or driving mocs which are not the most practical.
It's a fundraiser where prizes are donated then you buy tickets and put them in baskets by the prizes you want to win. Mine was a dinner, DH's was a beefsteak-dinner where they bring you trays of beef on little pieces of bread. Every school/activity around here does them. They usually raise $10,000-$20,000.

We're at the park. We went to home felt this morning and I got more paint to finish a few other pieces of furniture I want to change out. I'm redoing all this furniture but I can't decide the best way to set everything up to redo our front room. LizInFL I may need your opinion on a few things!
Getting anything new done to your hair? snoopmommymom I need to touch up my color and a cut, but I'm waiting so my shortest layer can grow out a little more. I want something different, but not sure what!

Happy Saturday!
I'm relaxing on the couch after running some errands with M in tow. I needed new work shoes, so we went to a local shoe store, then we stopped for smoothies, and then Target. The other night I noticed M went to sleep with his beloved "ba-ba" in his hand.😏 I decided today was the day we went to trade in the paci collection for a new toy. Ts&Ps please... I hope bedtime isn't a disaster later.
Well I've celebrated my 5 year anniversary by legally changing my name.
Lol. 😂 I'm so glad to see this, I still haven't done mine and we hit 5 years at the end of March. I keep finding reasons to not do it--the latest was that I wanted both children's birth certificates to have the same name.
Maybe that will be my fifth anniversary gift to DH.
lfigge that's kind of funny but also awkward re: your FIL's dating life.
Somewhat related fun fact: the Villages, a very large planned community for 'active seniors' here in FL, has the highest STD rates per capita in the state. The olds are sure active, but not necessarily safe about it.

The company I worked for in FL had accounts in The Villages. My first time going there was so amusing. The olds rule the town while roaming around the streets in tricked out golf carts going to their doctors appointments and Zumba classes. I came across a few patients that definitely creeped me out with inappropriate gestures.
