Happy anniversary vinolove! I did mine right away, but moved my maiden name to my middle name, so it didn't feel too weird. My maiden name basically means swamp though, so not the prettiest.
Lol LizInFL I did the same thing with the birth certificates, but I'm now thinking about traveling with just the kids and I dont want MH to have to write something that I'm 'allowed' to take the kids. So name change it was.
Yes, I have had the same thought about travel, and really, it'd be so much easier to have the same official last name with the way our insurance, etc. is set up. Plus I'm traditional and would like to formally have my H's last name (I mean, I already use it socially...) but I'm a procrastinator.

I did the same - it was helpful when I'd accidentally write my maiden name for the first...while
I changed mine right away and have been married just over 5 years. Randomly I wrote my maiden name last week on something. I don't use my maiden name for anything so it was kinda weird!
We went ice skating and it was way to packed to have fun. We will go back another time when I can actually hear E. kim22JoeLies any suggestions on how to get him standing on the ice? He had fun but I was basically holding him up
T can't stand alone. When we took him, he had rental skates which were figure skates and a walker. Those are easier to stand in because the toe pick grips the ice. We bought him hockey skates last week because DS1 had a hard time transitioning after learning to skate in figure skates. The coach last week was just having him practice trying to stand up. He was only actually standing with help. He also had the hockey helmet for the first time and I think that was hard but it was required because they had sticks and pucks on the ice.

Well... M had no nap today and had been a cranky mess for the most part. We're currently on our way from dinner and M is crying for his ba ba. Of course, he's crying so hard he pukes all over himself. So much puke. This suuuccckkksss...

This is all after my dinner came up in the restaurant bathroom and I pee'd myself while doing so. Good thing I had a long coat on. Tonight is not great.
Colin had so much fun at my brother's today, he can't stop talking about their puppy. Naps were brief though - about 30 minutes on the drive up and again on the drive home, which was especially tough after skating. He was kind of insane. I'm glad the day is over.

#liveblog. Thanks ladies. M passed out before we got home. MH just took the car seat, with him in it, out of the car so we could get him out and clean both he and the seat. I managed to keep him asleep while I peeled him out of his clothing, wiped him down with wipes, and put pajamas on him. Car seat is done, too. Now it's time for my bath. If only I could have a glass of wine... good thing I got dessert to go.
vinolove No lie, if I had a paci with me, I might have caved. I have to stay strong and not give in.
FIL live blog: he does the talk to text on his phone. We were sitting in a group of people talking and out of nowhere he says "flattery will get you everywhere". I really don't want to know what his lady friend said for him to respond like that.
Oh no, lahdeedah88, I'm so sorry for the rough night. LTs for solidarity. B did that once and it was beyond disgusting. You'll look back on this...someday in the distant future...and laugh, but in the meantime have a bath or hot shower and enjoy your dessert.
kim22 that is good to know that the standing part takes a little bit. We used the assist me but his little legs just kept going everywhere and we couldn't hear each other so I just held him up. But he loved it and wants to go back
Today was Col's 4th or 5th lesson and he's finally making noticable progress and not just falling constantly. DH said he spent more time on the ice than up during his first session. But he's getting there.
ladystrat Yes, the one with the spaceship. We LOVE all things Eric Carle and that is their featured exhibit right now. Dude had a blast, it was definitely his favorite they've ever had. He tried to steal a Very Busy Spider toy. Now I'm messaging people on Etsy to get quotes on a custom one. I think I have video of Dude wearing butterfly wings. Let me find it...
I forgot to tell you guys that we got back X's labs. Milk protein allergy, which I don't find surprising. So we're sticking with soy for awhile, I think.
He's been spitting up a lot again this week, but I think that's due to his cough/congestion more than anything.
Anyone with experience with RSV or bronchitis? Chase has had a cough pretty much all winter, thanks to congestion and teething, but last night was something else. He was a bit warm but not feverish. What worries me is that his whole body would kind of buck, I guess you could say, a couple times before a big cough. Holding him upright wasn't helping either. He eventually slept okay in the swing - he normally cries as soon as I start buckling him in, but he didn't even fight it.
I have no desire to bring him in to the ER and expose him to more germs, so my plan is to call and get him in to see the doctor tomorrow. But I was wondering if his symptoms are ringing any bells.
We let Chase sleep in well past 8 and he's delightful this morning. His hair looks like he stuck his finger in an electric socket from sleeping in the swing, but he's all smiles and babbling away.
We're not doing football today. I'm taking the kids and my mom to farm sanctuary to see our animal friends. I think Pete is going to stay home and try to catch up on some much needed rest.
Morning! H is being a complete and utter brat this morning. Not listening, throwing fits, hitting me. She got quite the stint in time out. I have to work today so no football for me (not that I even really care). Depending on H behaves for the rest of the morning and after nap DH and the girls will go to our friend's house for the game.
JoeLies Neither of my kids have had rsv but I have a good friend that's little girl has had it a few times. Watch his ribs, if he sucks in (retracts) when he breathes I was told that you would need to take him in.
DH just took B out on a couple errands and I'm sitting under a sleeping baby. I'll put her down in a few so I can get a shower but I'm enjoying the snuggles in a quiet house.
Oh, and for your entertainment...C had a blowout on DH's watch this morning while I was still sleeping. Below is the ensemble he came up with when he changed her. He bypassed the drawers where we keep clothes that actually fit and dug into the stash of stuff she's outgrown 🤔
cagoldi this is going back 10 years now but DS1 had a milk protein allergy and we were told regular Gerber Good Start would be ok because the allergy is usually to casein, not whey and Gerber only used whey. It was a lifesaver for us.
I changed my name the day I returned from my honeymoon because my license expired that month so it was either 2 trips to motor vehicle or 1.
T had his second day of hockey. It's a learn to play with DS1's club so it's mixed ages and abilities. I think he's too young but the coaches have been telling him he can come. I think I'm going to do just learn to skate lessons during the week then still let him go to hockey on the weekend. He will be mad that he can't bring a stick.
We have a hockey game at 4 then Super Bowl at my sister's. I will probably leave at halftime because we are all going to a professional hockey game tomorrow and 2 late nights in a row at the beginning of the week isn't good for us.
