Back from swim lessons. The woman who I spoke with over the phone told me 11:30, but input it in their system as 2:30. The owner got in the pool with Cadence so we wouldn't have to make two trips. She did good. They were actually able to get her to put her face in the water, which put her in level 1 instead of backwards into toddler. Woohoo. We go back Tuesday after dc.
Thanks! Trying to not think about it too much. We just walked downtown and did pottery painting and will watch the game tonight..I guess I'm ready, I'm beyond sick of driving j back and forth to school. MH is a little nervous, he hasn't had her alone for more than 2 hours, but at least she seems to like bottles.
LizInFL N is on her too small hot pink pants too..Except I'm the one in denial that they are too small. I'm going with them being cropped pants since they do actually fit in butt/thigh, just noticeably too short. Sorry sister, welcome to a life of pants that are too short.
I survived the night, barely. It's was a rough one. M was up often, in a fit, asking for his baba and the only thing that helped calm him was me holding him horizontal and bouncing him around like he was a baby. The icing on the cake was that heartburn came to visit for the first time this pregnancy. What a night. I almost want to laugh at it all.
Today is off to a better start. MH let me sleep in, so I'm feeling okay. I need to make a grocery run for the week since I'll be on an early shift at work through Friday. Nothing else happening around these parts. Let's hope tonight is a better night than last.
We started painting the baby's room today. MH also finished hanging floating bookshelves he made himself. So lots of home improvement this weekend. I'm continuing the job search and a certification program. This whole situation is tiring, but could be wguessI guess.
Awesome day over here. Our errands this morning took an extra hour after someone hit our truck in the parking lot. No damage on our end but her rental car was beat up and she was trying to blame DH. So we had to leave the truck in the middle of the lot until the police showed up, since the position of our truck made it clear that she was in the wrong. She did apologize once a witness explained why he was vouching for DH, but it was annoying. Then Chase boycotted his afternoon nap and Col peed the bed during his. It's going to be a looking evening.

I was going to make meatloaf, smashed roasted potatoes and stuffed mushrooms. Instead we're having random snacks cause lazy. We'll have meatloaf tomorrow.
cagoldi this is going back 10 years now but DS1 had a milk protein allergy and we were told regular Gerber Good Start would be ok because the allergy is usually to casein, not whey and Gerber only used whey. It was a lifesaver for us.
She had us try Soothe for the same reason, and it's hydrolyzed, but that's what he was in when this terrible streak of diarrhea started and wouldn't quit until we went with soy.
We're home and all in bed. I started feeling not so great right before we left to my sisters to watch the game and Dh felt the same- uneasy, queasy stomach. We didn't eat any food or have a single drink. Clearly we're dying. We left after halftime. I really hope it's nothing. Really, really hope. Both kids seem fine so maybe we just ate something bad sometime this weekend? Blech...
@ladeedah88, your night last night sounds horrible. Hope tonight was better and involved far less bodily fluids
Re: name change, I'm also married 5 years in March and I'm in name change limbo. I changed my ss card and driver's license that year, but never changed my credit cards. I use my maiden name at work.
I also just realized that whenever I drop the boys at dc I have to initial the sign in sheet and I use my maiden name initial. Oops.
Oh and like PPs, I made my maiden name my middle name. I don't love it, but it just felt weird to let it go completely
Not going well. He has never wined or cried this much for something. I think I may give one to him and try again another time. He only uses it for nap and bed time at home, but he is so attached. He's tired now, but a mess because he wants it. I hoped this would go better...
Le sigh. DH and I just got in a spat trying to plan a vacation for our 5-year anniversary (total FWP). Sometimes he is just so mellow that I cannot read him; so if I suggest something and he's like, "That's fine"...I'm left wondering if that means, 'Sounds good' or 'I'd rather rip out my fingernails with pliers'. He asked if I want him to turn cartwheels with excitement. Ummm...no, but I would like a little enthusiasm. So then--because I'm mature like this-- I say, "Fine...we have tons going on this spring anyway, let's just skip it". But I don't really mean it. Then he gets pissy, goes off to shower, etc.
wedding I see you got answers already, but they ended up saying only the girls need dance shoes right now, so Dude is in regular socks and sneakers for class at this time.
We got to brush cows! I fell in love with a rescued dairy cow named Buttercup whose tummy was practically dragging on the ground from a hernia after too many pregnancies. Great trip.
