DD decided 6:15 was an appropriate wake up time- she is wrong. Guess that just means I get to take a nap later. We're going to a kids carnival at the ice arena down the road from us today just to get out of the house for a bit. We ended up having a couple people over last night to play a game, so I'll probably work on DD's baby book, and a photo book later today.
Oh yeah, C wakes up between 6 and 7 every morning since she's been in her big girl bed. I'm up at 6 anyway but I really miss showering alone lol.
We're headed to a fill a bag sale at a consignment store near us today. Then to the mall for new bras and some play time.
C's birthday is on Monday and I really can't believe she's going to be two. When you ask her how old she's going to be she says "two!" And holds up one finger. It's pretty adorable.
My hope is just to be able to sleep until 7, it's usually right around there. Consignment shopping sounds fun, and your daughter sounds adorable. Are you doing a party for her birthday?
I'm at the new OB now and I looooove them! Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctor are awesome. Switching was the right call! They decided to just have me do my glucose test today so I'm waiting for the hour to be up.
My mom and my sister got here late last night and DD was soooo excited to see them this morning. She saw me putting my coat on to leave and yelled "Bye bye Mama! Bye bye!" And happily went back to coloring with my sister. Nothing like being kicked out of your own house! We were thinking of going to the zoo later today but I think it might be too cold.
So this week I had to kick two girls off our school dance team for being super disrespectful to our choreographer in the middle of practice, and their friends decided to stage a protest yesterday lmao! They all wore purple to school and painted their faces with purple streaks, and apparently that was supposed to convey their point. Our AP is hilarious, though, and she got on the mic at our pep rally and was like, "I just want to thank all the girls who wore purple today in support of World Cancer Day tomorrow! As a cancer survivor myself, I am truly grateful that you're supporting such a WORTHWHILE cause!" It totally took the wind out of their sails and we had a good laugh.
tortor4 is it the Once Upon a Child sale? Love that!
I have a cold so I slept horribly. I stupidly didn't put the humidifier in my room and by 1am I was too lazy/it's too hard to get out of bed to get it.
We have a birthday party late this afternoon so I need to run out to get a gift (last minute invite).
Good morning. It's been a crazy week here with a big work deadline and side projects. So glad for the weekend but I've really gotta sit down and make a list of things I need to catch up on.

I wish I was rich and had an assistant who could run all my errands for me. We need to go grocery shopping and usually go to 2 different places and need to go to Petsmart for cat/dog food.
DS thought 445 was an appropriate wake up time over here. I tried so hard to rock him back to sleep but no go, he was wide awake and kept saying "no thank you sleep, time to play!" He's usually good until 630-730 but for some reason all this week was awake by 530. Don't know what's up with that but I'm NOT a fan, especially since I'm trying to get ready for work at that time during the week. Maybe he's ready for a later bedtime?
Touring the maternity ward today at the hosp because I didn't deliver here last time and DH likes to know his way around, then taking advantage of the grandparent babysitting and going out to dinner just the 2 of us. Hope you all have a good Saturday!!

Hi Everyone! The end of this week was crazy! We had an event at school yesterday in which I performed in a dance (that I also choreographed for a group of non-dancers). After rehearsing for an hour and later performing I was in sooooo much pain by the end of the night! The event also had food from all over the world including all of my favorites, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern. I ate SO much! That didn't help the pain lol. It was fun though!
Today we're doing a hodge podge off our to do list then going to see my favorite singer/song writer tonight on her "final" tour. She claims she's retiring. DW has yet to see her perform so I'm super excited!

PirateCat, I love that the shops are doing this! I wish there was one near me. Stupid small towns.
mcp6286, ha! I love your AP. How old are these girls?
We got back home late last night, and got the dogs from the kennel this morning. I went through and finally put away my clothes that don't fit anymore, but otherwise I'm going to be lazy with the dogs all day. I should probably eat something too.
We stayed out late last night at our neighbors. No games were played but we had fun. DS was great and actually slept in today!
We have dance class then a birthday party for our niece. We also promised DS bowling today before we got invited to the part so we'll see if he makes that far.
PSA: Nursing bras are less than $20 today at Motherhood Maternity (online too), most are about $16. I need to toss some of my old ones and stock up again so today seems like the day!
Today is cleaning day. Right now I'm watching the kids play while I sort laundry. DS begged to go for a bike ride even though it's cold out. We went for a few minutes down the street and that was all I could handle. He loves to be outside and the cold doesn't seem to bother him. I'm debating about putting on a movie for us. Feels like a snuggly movie kind of day.

Yeah! We're doing a Minnie Mouse themed party at a local bounce house place. She's so excited. She keeps telling me who she wants to come. Yesterday she was on the phone with my mom and my mom asked her if she could come to her party and C goes "um maybe!" Omg I died lol. She's never even said the word maybe before 😂

E was up every hour last night all congested and crummy feeling. Husband was up with GI distress and I was up puking. I sent the big two out to my family's house for today/tomorrow to get out of our germ infested house. We were all supposed to go up and celebrate SD birthday with my side of the family. It didn't work out the way we planned but at least the kids still got to go and have fun!
After dropping the kids DH, E and I have been slugs at home and I'm slowly reintroducing food. Super hungry and thirsty but I always get so paranoid reintroducing food after being sick.
H brought home the stuff for the rice/beans, and then said he'd go get pizza when he saw how sad I was. But I felt guilty so I wouldn't let him. Poor H.

Ugh so sorry. Hope everyone starts feeling better.
And H just had me order pizza because I still couldn't decide between our meal options. I get into these moods where I get overly stressed about what we're going to eat, and he needs to make the decision. It took a while for him to realize that. Again, poor H. lol. But yay me! I get pizza.
SIL took me to an awesome kids' consignment store and it was heaven. They had a huge sale and I got a ton of stuff for a dollar or two each. They also had a decent selection of maternity clothes, which I've really needed, since I'm pretty maxed out on all my shirts and sweaters. Pretty excited about my shopping spree and I think we are all set for baby clothes for now.
They also had a good selection of baby carriers. They didn't have my size in Baby K'tan but I'll keep checking back. I'm so excited to have found this place right in our neighborhood.
