I have an eye doctors appointment today, I completely forgot about it until 2am. I was up until 1/130 texting with my mom until she went home from the hospital. She took my grandmother there in the afternoon for an X-ray due to a possible broken rib and pushed for them to do more tests because she isn't eating or drinking properly and my mom can't get her to. So they kept her overnight due to the combination of a hairline fracture, severe dehydration and a uti.

Good morning all. I woke up this morning with a huge ugly red and hella itchy rash all over my one arm. I'm trying to decide if I should wait it out or go see a doctor. I never know if I'm supposed to go to my PCP or OB for these kinds of things now that I'm pregnant. My arm itches!!!! I'm guessing I touched something I'm allergic to but have no idea what.
onesweetworld, good luck with your grandmother. I hope she's able to recover smoothly.
She will be fine. Her dementia is just getting worse and she thinks she is eating and drinking but she isn't. My mom can only do so much so it's time for someone else to step in and help care for her.

Benadryl ?? I had a few hives on my arm the other day and I took some Benadryl and didn't itch it. It cleared up quickly.

I sent my OB a message asking what I could take since I don't have my safe med list with me. Hydrocortisone cream has done nothing so far. I just really wonder what on earth I touched. We gave our dogs their flea treatments yesterday. But it's the same stuff we always use and I washed my hands after. Who knows.
I'm sick...still...it ebbs and flows with how crappy I feel, but it's making getting out of the house really hard! I have an intake appt with the RN at my new OB this afternoon so I'm just hoping I feel ok to drag myself there. It's a busy week this week and I need to shake this thing!

I am also still sick but getting better. No sore throat today, but my sinuses are still inflamed and I feel exhausted. Not helping that our house is still a giant mess because the floors aren't finished which wasn't bothering me, but on top of being super stressed at work on Friday it's now all stressful. I need to check in with my PM to make sure what I gave her late Friday is what she wanted so she'll be happy with me. My H asked if my job is to make her happy. No, it's not, but since she'll bad-mouth me to the people who matter, it's now priority #1. (She's a consultant with a different firm and sees us as competitors, while my firm and me personally see everyone on the team as teammates working to be successful together.)

I'm not sure about your recent history but I remember getting this after some shots in my third tri. I can't remember what it was for the life of me though - maybe tDap? Have you gotten any shots recently?
(pointless post but too damn excited not to post it)
Because you go here???
Haha, because the Patriots won!!! With an almost 5-month old at home hopefully it's a bit before I go here again. I just like to hang out here sometimes.

Good luck with your grandmother. We went through that with my nana the past couple years and it was tough even with my mom and her 3 sisters sharing the load. I can't imagine one person trying to take care of everything.
