Guys my insurance covers diceglis, but my OB called it in to the wrong pharmacy 45 minutes away from my house! Hopefully I have the energy to stop tomorrow after work.
@wicky I just can't imagine have 26 weeks of pregnancy left (maybe less) and itching intensely for all of it. And blood draws every two weeks. And having to explain it to people all over again.

wells2010 might be worth seeing if they can send it to a closer pharmacy! 45mins one way is a bit far for my taste
I tried to get it filled at the Rite Aid I was at, but they didn't have it (really small town). The other place is on the way home from work, so I will stop there tomorrow I guess. I definitely wouldn't make a special trip out there!

I usually try to eat yogurt before be basically because of the protein. Tonight I ate chocolate ice cream. I'm convincing myself it's the same.
I've been having a pretty regular milkshake at night...I figure I can't drink booze, so milkshakes will do plus...calcium! Vitamin D! Protein!
Milkshakes help with heartburn. It's totally true. I had so many Milkshakes with my first pregnancy. I should have had more with my second. I plan on taking them back up for this one.
So I'm totally showing but we aren't telling people until after our appointment next week. I'm sure some of my friends that don't know are like umm?? But I am finding it kind of fun to make people wonder.
mambo what will the path be going forward? Is there medication you can take or is it just frequent monitoring and high levels of itch tolerance? What implications does it have for your baby?
DD lost and born 9/18/2013 at 24 weeks (Trisomy 18) DS born 6/16/2015 (at 39 weeks 6 days, after emergency cerclage at 23 weeks and 14 weeks of bed rest)
MH left at DS's bedtime last night for his first business trip since August. DS was much more aware of what was happening and it was heartbreaking. We waved out the window as his taxi left to the airport. As soon as he was out of sight DS started bawling. I took him to read stories, but he continued bawling, throwing books and banging his head on the floor. I managed to calm him down eventually, but he still kept going to the door and asking for "Da?". I had to hold him and rock him to sleep, singing songs (he normally goes to sleep easily and on his own). It was so hard to see him so sad, but also wonderful to see how much he loves his Dad.

Blood draws biweekly. If my numbers are elevated from yesterdays draw we are starting medication. Then NST starting at 28 weeks and then delivery ideally between 34 and 37 weeks no later than 37. Risk for baby is stillbirth

Ugh that's the worst. I'm the one typically leaving on work trips and I hate it. I know it's so hard on DH & DD. I luckily only have one big trip (a week) planned for the spring. Otherwise it's just a night here or there. How long is your DH gone? Hope his time gone flies by!

I have a work trip planned for Texas in March. I just remember about Zika this week and checked to see if there were cases report. Yup, there have been some in Brownsville, TX.
Now I'm waiting for my OB recommendation and I'm guessing that I'm going to need to sit down with our PM and tell her I can't travel because I don't want to risk it.

My H is going out of town until Sunday. Normally trips like this aren't so bad, but I've just been feeling so nauseous, it's hard to not have a break here and there from DS.

I am unreasonably excited for the week when we can start HDBD. I am appeasing my excitement by stalking other boards. But none of the 4 or 5 months before us are posting anything! SHOW ME THE BUMPS!!!!!!

Gah.
We have a trip planned to Florida in May. I will definitely talk to my OB but I am still planning to go. We are going to be in the St. Pete's area so it is pretty far from Miami.

Re: Zika, I live in Texas and consulted with my OB last summer before we TTC, because I was worried. I told him we were waiting till after the summer so there would be fewer mosquitoes, less risk, and so on. His response was that probably, eventually, Zika will come to our city - it may be here already but we just haven't identified any cases. He was not recommending that any of his patients delay TTC, just to take precautions against mosquito bites. His opinion was that there are many mosquito-borne illnesses that are dangerous to pregnant women and fetuses, zika is just our most current concern. Precautions in locations such as this, and Brownsville, and Florida should always be in place, but the risks are low enough that it should not stop you TTC.
I am not sure if that helps. Of course, take any steps you need to protect yourself and your baby. Delay or cancel trips if you need to or want to. I am living here and will keep living here till my baby is born. It will be okay.

This is the cholestasis infographic for anyone interested
Oh gosh, this is very serious. I didn't realize it was cholestasis. My friend had this and it was really scary because at one point her liver was getting really bad off. She was very yellow too. I will be keeping you in my prayers. Keep us updated.
So I try not to eat out much during the week. I usually pick up lunch once during the week with the kids. That goes out the window when I'm pregnant. We did McDonald's yesterday because I rationalized it was Valentine's Day and I should do something fun for the kids.
Today, we drove by Taco Bell. Guess where we ate lunch. Dang cravings. DH happened to call me and asked if we wanted to go out with him for lunch. It worked out well that we were already on our way to Taco Bell.
