Last pregnancy it got worse second tri so I'm keeping everything crossed that isn't the case this time. It's a wonder I ever was ok with the idea of being pregnant again.
I keep wondering if mine will get better or worse at second tri. People keep telling me I'll be fine, but none of them have had HG. What a guessing game.
And I've already questioned wanting another after dealing with HG once. Bless you STM+ who have HG. Hope you're feeling better with the fluids!
Were you able to get on some more meds that are helping you be more functional? I've been thinking about you!!
Unfortunately one of the things that makes it HG is that it doesn't go away in second tri. So that's a shitty prognosis, but for some while it doesn't go away it does get better. So there's hope in that!!!

So the NP I saw yesterday due to my doctor being in Cuba told me that I'm maxed out on all the antiemetics I can take. She said we could go up on the Maxeran but because it's causing me to have muscle tremors and twitches we can't. I got the 3L of fluid yesterday and still dry heaved the whole way home, was up all night so nauseous I couldn't sleep, and have spent my morning dry heaving. So looks like it's another trip to the doctors this week since mine will be back to see how he wants to handle this.
My BP was also elevated in the ER yesterday so I'm getting nervous that I'm going to wind up with hypertension again this pregnancy. I didn't get put on meds for it until 31ish weeks last time, but looks like I need to start my checks at home already.

My doctor added Reglan and Phenergan at my last appt and I'm nearly functional again. Actually gained back 2 lb last week. Still occasionally sick, but not like before. She said she's seen several HG patients who were significantly better after 20 weeks, so that's my hope.
I'm glad you're doing better!!! I had a sweet spot between 24-31 weeks where I was still on four antiemetics, but they actually worked so I felt pretty good as long as I didn't miss a dose. Hopefully that's the case again this time only it stays that way until the end!
Hugs mama! Second tri is right around the corner. Hopefully you will get some relief.

Oh man, I'm so sorry. I couldn't imagine not getting relief from MS in the second trimester. I hope this pregnancy is better for you.
I'm like 95% certain I have another UTI. I had one with no symptoms a few weeks ago (they caught it at my initial appointment). This one is definitely causing symptoms. What began as just a funny feeling became full on pain and burning in my crotch today. Ugg. I am absolutely miserable. Thankfully, they just called in an antibiotic, and will only make me come in to pee in a cup of it doesn't get better after a few days.
DH is on his way to get my meds now. God bless that man.

I went to urgent care today for this damn cold I have. Flu and strep tests came back negative, so just an upper respiratory infection. My stomach (mainly my round ligaments on my right side) are super tight and sore....think that's just from the coughing?

I haven't taken a bath in over a year...other than waiting for the water to fill up...what have I been thinking in not taking them more often! I'm really just hoping it helps my RLP and possibly help this cold along. I added epsom salt and some lavender (not like I can smell it).
Now there's my tip for the night...go take a bath, it's glorious! Oh and make a cup of tea to take with you (even though I can't taste that either).

laurenash323, I think about taking a bath everyday. Then by the time I get the kids to bed I'm just too exhausted. I'm hoping I can take more when I'm not feeling so tired all the time.
Dd's room that's she in now is blue. I'm really hoping I can talk her into switching to our guest room, which is yellow and already has a full bed in it, before baby comes. Then I won't feel the need to paint when baby gets here and is in a yellow room and dd is in a blue room (not that I would really paint for that reason...)

OMG yes! I took a bath today too.

Also I realized while in the bath that it may not be only RLP to blame for my aches and pains...I think the amount of "sit-ups" I've been doing in the motn when I wake up to blow my nose may be making them worse...jeesh I'm so out of shape!

laurenash323 I hope you feel better soon! It sounds like the bath was a good start! When I had a wicked cold a few weeks ago the Vicks plug-in vapor-pad thingy was a life saver for being able to breathe and therefore sleep at night (and less nose-blowing sit-ups!) And less pnd misery in the mornings.
