@mattsgirl2004 have you ever spent a night away from dd? That's what got mine to sleep better! I left her around 9 mos for a conference and she sttn (like 8-8) for my rents! Once I was home she still got up in the motn, but it was a lot less frequently and only got better from there.

Ugh. This weekend is going to be so busy. DH and I are going to a concert tonight, which will be fun. Then DH will be gone most of the day tomorrow for a conference. Sunday, he is on Worship team at church and we have our nephew's birthday party at 11. Then we have life group Sun night. I'm so glad DH has Monday off. The kids will barely see him this weekend.
I'm having issues finding ways to eat meat. Any kind of meat just does not sound good at this point.
I am seriously considering getting Soylent to try out. One serving contains 20g of protein so I am very tempted to try out a pack to see if I handle it better as a meat replacement.

I have this problem too. I have to disguise meat by mixing it into things. E.g., enchiladas, casserole-type things, burrito bowl from Chipotle, etc. I really just wish I didn't get hungry or need food because eating is so very difficult right now.

I just have problems with meat. I can do veggies, carbs, fruits, etc without problems. And now I have issues eating plain meat and if I overload it with stronger flavors I still have problems. I might be able to do casseroles better.
I'm going to grab some spinach and/or kale this weekend and try to make some smoothies for breakfast with added protein powder.

I tried to call to make an appointment to see my doctor to find out if there's another way to tackle the HG....and he's in Cuba for two weeks and they have no one covering his patients.
So I did get them to book me an appointment with an NP for tomorrow even though the receptionist said "there's nothing she can do". I probably should just go to the ER for fluids but I'm just going to hold out one more day until tomorrow and hope it's a better day.
It is so nice outside. It's 53 which is very usual for us this time of year. I let the kids play on the driveway for a little bit with their scooters and trikes. They thought puddle jumping was much more fun.
In an attempt to embrace this pregnancy and be less scared/anxious, I'm wearing a pair of maternity jeans (because so.much.bloat). I forgot how amazingly comfortable these thing are.
Maybe this is an UO around here but I was not in love with my maternity jeans. They weren't horrible but I never felt like they looked very flattering and the panel always made me itchy. I preferred to wear my old yoga pants, just low under my belly when I could get away with it.

Same here. I have all different kinds. They all end up stretching out by the end of the day and falling down, leaving me with a saggy butt. Now, I haven't busted out any clothing yet. I have some maternity leggings from last time that I will probably wear. Otherwise, I'll probably just wear my regular leggings, yoga pants, skirts, etc. I do have a few pairs of cotton cargo-type pants that I love. I'm not sure how stylish they are at this point, but they convert to capris and are light enough for me to wear throughout the summer. I might grab some new yoga pants at Lucy. My current ones are old as hell and are about 5 yr old.

I never did maternity jeans last time, managed to do regular jeans with a belly band till about 28 weeks, then skirts all the time. And no underwear if at home. WAY more comfortable for everything to be free and easy down there.

I have one pair of maternity jeans from last time. I'm hoping to avoid needing any additional this time -- I'm thinking I can make it until it is warm enough to wear skirts and dresses. They are the most comfortable, IMO.
PSA: Old Navy dresses are half off today online and in store. Maternity is excluded, but they have several in regular sizes that look like they're soft/stretchy enough to be worn until I get truly BIG. I'm going to our store after work so I can try some on.
I wore regular old navy dresses right up until the end, and I got HUGE. They are perfect, and so comfy!SaveSave

My entire pregnancy with DS I craved margaritas. I Even tried to make a virgin one but it just didn't cut it. A glass of wine or a margarita sounds so good right now.

So I have the worst cold of my life right now. So bad, that I've been in bed most the day, which is very unlike me. Right now though, I'm in heaven. DH took dd on a walk (this has NEVER happened when I'm in town), we ordered pizza for dinner and I'm watching greys with my feet up in the recliner right now. 😀

Spent my whole day in the ER getting fluids. The resident keeps being "baffled" he hasn't cured my nausea even though I keep telling him it's HG. he won't get rid of it. I'm only here for the fluids.

That sucks. I'm so sorry. Glad you got some fluids though!

Hugs mama! Second tri is right around the corner. Hopefully you will get some relief.

Last pregnancy it got worse second tri so I'm keeping everything crossed that isn't the case this time. It's a wonder I ever was ok with the idea of being pregnant again.
