Tuesday that feels like a Monday around here! I have a hopefully boring workday ahead as I have a big project to start. Will be spending tonight wrapping and baking for DD2's bday tomorrow!

Took H to the ped yesterday because her fever was getting worse, and lo behold she has an ear infection. She was up every 1.5 hours last night. She threw up once, so I had to change her and her sheets middle of the night. DH was up coughing all night. So, I got about 2 hours of sleep? I need all the decaf coffee in the world today. 😭
Daycare visits today, both center and home daycares. I made my checklist. I'm ready. Now, if I could just get out the bed and crawl to the coffee pot...
I got home from work around 12. Fell asleep by 1230 but was up twice to pee. W got up at 530 and has been grumpy and acting tired since. I wish I could drink coffee but I haven't had any in like 3 months thanks to food aversions. 😂
sharebear05 that's awesome. When my brother and I were little we kept a booger museum by sticking good ones to a piece of paper on the wall. Sounds like this one belonged in a boog gallery.
Ps - my mom didn't know about this, and when she found it, RIP museum.
Friday my boss told me "BTW you'll be running the webinar sessions on Tuesday, I'll be in Mexico" so, UGH. I've done a million of them behind the scenes and I know it'll be fine, but I hate the added stress coming back into the office after a long weekend.

Hunter just had a huge tantrum involving throwing himself on the floor kicking and screaming for a good 10 minutes. The reason? He was screaming for butter and I put it on his toast instead of handing him the butter dish to eat directly from. Eventually he settled and licked the butter off the toast. Toddlers are just wonderful.
lawandorder so happy he liked it! My h is already hoping the boys play baseball (since he did) and all I can think about is the eleventy billion games and practices and how I'd need to quit my job.
I am super excited. We are going to the Camden Aquarium on Saturday. Nick loves fish, so I am pretty certain he will enjoy this.
They have hippos. I didn't know they had hippos there. So, naturally, I am pretty fucking psyched to see some hippos.
So cool about the hippos!
We took Molly to the aquarium and when we were watching the big tank with the sea turtles they came up right in front of us and scared the shit out of her. She was so done with the fish after that. She will probably be scarred for life.

Aweee poor Molly!! It is pretty cool though that they got that close. She will appreciate it more when she is older I am sure. I hope Nick likes it. They have some kid zones there too so I am sure he will be in his element for at least part of the visit.

The hippos are the best!! So much better than the hippos at the zoo because you can see them swim through the glass. Love them. Enjoy!
ETA: I couldn't find any pics of her with the hippos, but here's one from the fall of her playing with one of the scuba divers in the biggest tank there.
FFTC: I have curly hair and I don't even own a hair brush because brushes + curls = frizz. So it never occurred to me that I should be brushing E's hair (not curly). Her hair was always looking kind of gross and it JUST dawned on me that I should perhaps get her a hair brush. We brushed her hair for the first time this morning and it looks AMAZING. So she's 19 months and I just brushed her hair for the first time.
(I will forget this by Friday, so I'm posting it today)
catladymeow, that's amazing. All curly heads in this house... I did just get AB her own wide tooth comb while we were at Sally's yesterday afternoon. She is super proud that she's graduated from the baby comb. LOL
forevermorgan, she's getting a tablet for her main gift. She's ROUGH on belongings so I hope we don't regret this. I got a tough case (and a warranty...) and will be making her sign an agreement on how to care for it, etc. Fingers crossed that she's finally ready for this! She destroyed the one my ILs got her 2 years ago. She's also getting a purse and a wallet, a book from her favorite anime, and earrings from DD1. And some bows if they show up today or tomorrow....
Omg I'm such an idiot. Sam is seriously outgrowing his 18 month clothes but it's toward the end of the season and it's really hard to find much on clearance right now and I've been super bummed. We went to carters and I did get a couple things things yesterday. Then we got home and I thought maybe there's still some winter stuff in the basement from DS (most of Sam's stuff is from him) mixed in with summer 24 months clothes. There's almost a whole wardrobe down there! I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. So now I'm returning the stuff to Carter's and washing a bunch of stuff we already had. And Sam's clothes will fit again!

I have to remind myself to do this too with my straight haired baby. I don't brush mine and just do a finger comb in the shower.
