Who has the city mini or city mini gt? Is the gt worth the extra $$$?
I have a gt and love it. We went gt because of the tires mostly. We wanted sturdy tires for the rougher terrain at parks and whatnot. Plus the adjustable handlebar is nice. Dh and I are short but our babysitter is 6 ft tall. It's nice that we can all adjust it as needed.
Probably a good choice. DS1 definitely had the stomach upset from it. He's also doing much better today so I'm not forcing him to take it. Why would I choose to make my child feel worse?
But damn it was like $35!
In our world of medical bills and prescriptions, $35 is a steal.

haykay13 I've pushed both the CM and CMGT, and I agree with Susan. The GT has a much better push. If you are going to be using it on grass or other rough terrain, get the GT.
microworm I had the same reaction to needing to the get the tamiflu, except I needed to buy 2 bottles of it because both the girls were sick. I didn't have my wallet, and Dh gave me $40 when I ran into Walgreen to get it. I had to call him and have him bring me more money from the car.

Yeah, DS is allergic to amoxicillin, so when he got an EI last week they had to prescribe something else... it was almost $50. My ears almost bled when the pharmacist told me the price. And I just got a script for five days of ZPak for a sinus infection... $20... I thought that was pretty good.

I'm used to prescriptions being less than $10, usually less than $5. #insurancegoals
I'm lucky that this is our norm too. DS needed an inhaler when he had pneumonia and the copay was $40. I was like, WTF? I got a script for an inhaler when I was diagnosed with pneumonia but never got it because I knew I'd barely use it and it wasn't worth the $40.
Thanks y'all. I wore DS the majority of the time so a stroller wasn't a big deal at the beginning, but now he's getting too big for me to carry & too big for our current stroller.

Buy a used one!
This. There is a group on FB called Stroller Queen/Stroller Swap. There are some used CMGT's in great condition for sale for around $100.
Oy, I don't think I've had any prescriptions that are more than $5. Another reason I can't stop working...
My insurance was top notch, what was considered a Cadillac plan. I didn't change jobs but my insurance changed to a high deductible plan. I see it happening to more and more of my friends. It's really hard to catch up on the medical bills when big things happen (like having a baby!).

Yes! We're on a high deductible plan now, plus my H's employer covers only 50% of the premium. I just saw yesterday that I got the insurance benefit for my 20 week AS, but insurance didn't pay anything. So basically, here's a discount, you owe us $750 for the ultrasound. I have to look at the insurance EOB and call them about this.

😳 This is horrifying. This should not be the case for anyone any more. This is standard maternity care.

Right? And it's my only US. They seriously won't pay for it? I will have words for them.

Yup. Welcome to my life.
ETA: basically until I meet my deductible, I pay 100% and then 80% until out of pocket max then it's 100% covered. But with premium and all the other costs, its $12000 a year until they cover anything.
Well do it to make a sale. Then you can move sooner with DH!
Oh I'm not arguing over them. They can have them, I just found it funny they actually added them to the must include list
The people who bought my previous house with my husband included my big electric fireplace! I was pissed because my realtor just said sure and it was a Christmas present from my parents and not attached to anything so shouldn't have been included.

We had friends who sold thier previous house where the buyer insisted they include ALL of their appliances. And then the buyer couldn't afford to cover closing. I think they should have waited for a second offer, since they only listed for a day. There had to be a better deal than that for them.

People are so weird. I find it odd when people want your curtains.

All the appliances is common here, like it's standard wording on the offer doc.

Here, one appliance is usually standard, but not all of them. We did get all of them when we bought our house and it was a great deal.
