Dylan cried for about a minute around 5 then again around 6 so I brought her in bed with us. I need to be at work early for a 7:30 meeting so I really hope she stays asleep while I get up and get ready!

forevermorgan, my dad does this. He claims it's easier to stomach if you start out with a honey/water/apple cider vinegar mixture, and slowly reduce the amount of water and honey once you're more used to it.
Kudos to you for trying it. I'm not sure I have it in me.
We are all wearing our red today, including DH. I need to motivate myself to take E to another storytime today just for the purpose of getting out of the house. I have no energy though.

Well, T can climb out of his crib in his caterpillar suit. I guess this weekend I'll shop for suit cute outer space bedding. I decided to try Apple Cider Vinegar for its health properties. OMG. It was worse the 2nd time. It's like drinking salad dressing. Blech.
I hope you're diluting it. I actually like a little ACV in water - like a tablespoon in a full glass, though.
Don't do too much. It'll strip your tooth enamel like whoa.
I will be making another donation to Planned Parenthood today, calling Senator Pat Toomey (again), and kicking all the ass at closing out this Kalahari Waterpark job (anyone want to know where all the valves in the waterpark and hotel are? I can tell you!), and then onto the next phase. WOOOOOOP.
He graduated college in 2014 with a degree in accounting. His college career was rough for a while, and his parents were pretty awful to him about him choosing to drop out of nursing school when he realized it just was not for him. They wanted him to go back and he wanted to take time off to figure out what he wanted to do. His Dad was so mean and his Mom acted like he would never go back and his life was ruined. I stuck by him and he took a semester off, and went to a new school and got his accounting degree, even making Dean's List several times. He got an entry level position at my company in the accounting department doing accounts payable work. It's tedious but it's a good way to start your career. One of his coworkers in his department, gave his notice last week. He has been in his position for about 5 years, and works very closely with the CEO. Well, they promoted my husband to that position!!!! Its more of a managerial accounting type of job, but my husband will be doing more in accounts receivable, and loading budgets for our company's projects, and helping to manage them on the back end, working closely with the CEO and CFO. It's a huge step up from what he is doing now.
I am so effing proud of him. I could cry. But I won't because I am at work.
I'm laying in bed watching the sun rise up over the mountains. Hopefully the rest of the day is this peaceful.
My grandfather was taken to ICU yesterday and things do not look good. I know he's in good hands and I certainly can't change the outcome. It's killing me to have this all happening while I'm across the country though. Really hoping the universe says uncle soon because I'm at my limit.
DS is being the biggest stinker today. He woke up in the middle of the night and I had to rock him back to sleep. This morning I gave him an applesauce pouch which he loves and he splattered it all over the floor instead of eating it. Then I gave him oatmeal for breakfast and he took two bites and started throwing it on the floor. I have never seen my son not eat breakfast. Also does anyone have tips on how to get your kid to stop throwing their food and plates on the floor?
I'm enjoying a quiet coffee and breakfast while everyone else is still sleeping.
Today is the last day that my mom is here. I will miss her and E will probably miss her like crazy. It's been nice seeing how much E loves my mom even though we only see her every 2-3 months.
After that we just have to survive for 22 more days before MH returns.

I make it in a drink that is 4oz pineapple juice, 1 tbsp ACV, 1 tsp honey, and juice from 1/4 lime. It's actually pretty good, and I have one every morning.
My kid is obsessed with ice cubes. He steals them from my water constantly. Then he puts them in various bowls and toys until they melt and his hands are freezing.

I've had a crazy morning which followed my crazy day yesterday. I had my big presentation which I was more nervous for this month than I was last month. Didn't help that the first time I was able to get in to the program I was presenting was on Monday night. I felt flustered, but everyone said I did a good job. I just don't feel like I did and feel like I should apologize to our consultant for the crappy presentation. I don't know why I'm letting it still bother me today.
And in super gross news, Noah woke up this morning while I was getting ready. When I went to get him, he smelled of poop. I picked him up and that's when I realized his pajamas were unzipped and he had poop all over his hands. Cue the gagging. I immediately put him in the tub and gave him a bath and a good scrub. Then I had to clean myself back off and change my clothes. Gosh it was nasty. And I told DH that he needed to wash all of Noah's now poop covered sheets and bedding. Blech! Ugh, kids are nasty!!!!!
@katechristine18, its always nice when hard work is rewarded - congrats to your husband!
Night 2 of CIO - DH went in and gave him and hug and put him back down. He screamed really bad, but was asleep in 5 minutes! HUZZAH!!! Now he woke for the day at 445- but its still progress!
cornpop311, I registered myself for kindergarten instead of DS2 last week. Whoops.

SIL let me know on Monday, that her son's 2nd B-Day party is at an indoor water park in MA on Saturday. She said we are welcome to come and it is $35 to get in. It doesn't sound like it will be set up as a party there. DH is WTF about it, because we have to pay. I know S will have so much fun, so I am going. She is free since she is under 23 months. She needs a bathing suit and I have to break out mine
