loves2shop4shoes, not stupid. You sure can. I wore DS all through playgroup sitting down having my hot chocolate. I wear him during supper if he's super fussy, wear him on the couch, watching TV, and so on. Wearing him now sitting on the couch and I was just folding laundry. I actually find it more comfortable than actually holding him and sitting because he's also kind of seated so he can't kick into me with his legs since he's so long.
I usually use my k'tan because it's down for DH as his preferred wrap carrier, but I got used to my Moby with DD2 by watching youtube videos and doing it in front of the mirror over and over. Now it's easy to use.

Going on night 2 of fussy baby. Thank God I remembered about our work tunes headphones. It's alot easier to hold a crying baby when it's muffled and you've got music in your ear. He's been pooping so much he's getting a diaper rash
DH is taking his 6 week paternity leave in two parts. The first part is officially over and he goes back to work tomorrow. He'll take the second part right before I go back.
I'm super sad about it. This past month has been so special. It's been the best time of my life. I don't want it to end. I'm gunna miss him around here and am very stressed about caring for E all day, every day by myself.
Definitely open to tips on how to handle everything on your own when you feel like you need six hands...
Lower expectations. (Relatively) clean, warm, and fed is enough. Everything else is a bonus. If you need to ket baby cry for a bit so you can go to tge bathroom, get coffee, shower, or do whatever other self care you need, do it. Baby is safe and will be just as happy if she is fed now or in 5 minutes.
ETA: Also try to be flexible. If something isn't working, change it. I thought I'd breastfeed, use woven wraps, and become a SAHM (with the first set). I exclusively FF, use ring slings (and maybe a mei tai) but most don't baby wear, and work full time. My expectations were much more realistic (for me and my situation) the second time around. 😉
