I really need to try to get LO to be more awake during nighttime feedings. I can usually get 3 hours out of her at night if she eats well. Last night I was lazy and she only gave me 2 hour stretches. Yawn.
I think H and the big kid are going to my SIL's open house this afternoon, so it might be me and the baby for a few hours. I'm hoping H wants to go look at a new chair. His recliner is falling apart. And we might grill pizza for dinner. I think that's all we have for today.
Someone from church asked if we'd like meals dropped off. I always feel guilty saying yes. Like, would I like to not cook meals? Certainly! Can I manage to cook meals? Probably. I'm still figuring out what my answer will be.
shawnabm1320 if people are offering, I would say yes. It means they love you and want to do something to help. A month long meal train would be a bit excessive, but one or two dinners? Say yes!

shawnabm1320 definitely accept the offer. We have friends still bringing us meals at 1 month post partum. We are forever grateful.
My in laws are coming over today since my husband's birthday was last Thursday. My dad was supposed to come and spend the weekend to bbq and smoke some pork belly to make bacon but he got sick and I told him I didn't want to chance him getting DS2 sick.
I think I've got a clogged duct or the start of thrush. I need to do some research on how to make it better.

Good morning! shawnabm1320, meals are good. Especially for days when the baby didn't sleep and you're exhausted or just want a break. I said yes to all the meals.
I'm trying to decide if I'm brave enough to travel an hour and a half away with both boys solo to meet my sister and her son for a st Patrick's day parade. It also might rain. I think it's probably not the best idea. I'm just so bored and starved for non-DH interaction.
DST can go to hell. No naps for anyone today. Bring on the coffee!
We're mostly hanging at home to cook and clean this weekend. They're never ending projects. We'll also hit Walmart because we have *one* sheet of graham crackers left, which could be disasterous.

I got 2 three hour stretches and a 2 hour stretch but damn they were noisy! I can't wait for R to outgrow this grunting.
I really should get out of the house today. But it's freezing here! Where the heck is spring? Also I have yet to go anywhere with the baby and toddler by myself. Maybe I'll go get stamps or go to the craft store...both of those things need to be done sometime this week.

flyinghorses6 have you tried white noise? I have it on my phone set and to the vacuum noise and played it all night last night. It may help with you not hearing the grunting or calm her down to not grunt?
We had a pretty good night. Z went down around 10:30 and stayed pretty much out until about 4:30. I didn't want to feed her quite yet (trying to get her to eat between 5-6) so I finally gave up and let her sleep on me until about 5:45. That's three nights in a row of no MOTN feedings.
Our local st Patrick's day parade is today but it's way too cold. DH is at drill. I'm not sure yet if we'll venture out.

I woke up feeling off. May be another round of mastitis in the works. I believe I have another clogged duct, so warm compresses, tons of pumping, and hand expression today. Again. If I do have mastitis again, I may move to FF. Being attached to a pump and still dealing with all these issues is pushing me to the edge. I've got a ridiculous freezer stash anyway... Probably wouldn't need formula for a few months. Feeding babies is rough.
And I generally woke up on the wrong side today. I have to go to Target and the grocery store, but don't really wanna see people. We have guests coming tomorrow and I need salad stuff to go with the enchiladas I'm baking. Plus, I gotta make a dessert. No clue what to make...
I swapped all my maternity clothes out with my regular clothes. I figured if I have to stuff myself into regular clothes I'll be more motivated to lose weight. Nothing motivates me more than feeling like a sausage stuffed in casing LOL

oldbaylover1024 oh no! I hope you can clear up the clog and isn't mastitis! I wouldn't blame you one bit for moving on the formula. I told myself after the last blood pouring from nipple episode that one more time and... Also I went out yesterday in maternity jeans and hated myself a little. I may have to take your approach. I was supposed to go back to my kickboxing class this week but DH's schedule has been too crazy.

S had a relatively good night (4 wake ups but going back to sleep in between) but I'm still dragging today. After she's off my boob I'm making more coffee. It's ridiculously cold here today so it looks like we're staying indoors and having a lazy day.
When will my vagina stop feeling sore?? It's not excruciating anymore but there is just kind of this dull ache, and I still can't sit properly. I don't remember how long it took last time :[ I'm probably just being impatient; I'm only 2 weeks out
pivot - that breakfast makes my oatmeal seem so less appealing now. Yum!
oldbaylover1024- holy motivation! I'm waiting two more weeks to do the post baby purge of my closet. Praying that a lot fits but between the baby belly pooch and my still huge boobs I may need a lot. Measured yesterday and I have gone from a 36C to a 36DD! Pre LO1 I was a 36B.
Fed babes a second time and both slept for almost 2 hours. So guess who also slept for almost 2 hours...this girl! Not as relaxing as what DH got since I was sitting on the couch holding 2 babes but it was still glorious! Lunch, grocery store and then pack DH for his trip.

Heck yes to all the meals. We have a meal train set up with dates extending to the end of the month. For sure not every night, but some, and it will give us a break when we need it.
H's time off work has flown. He goes back Monday. I'm not ready!! MIL gets here Wednesday, though, so I only have 2.5 days solo to get through.
Nursing is going so amazing for us compared to last time. We were a hot, crying mess by this point and I almost gave up. Now it's pretty much to NBD status.

With my first it was about 16 weeks... So far it's a ton better with this kiddo, but the soreness has really set in the last few days.
I put on 2 pounds this week ugh. I am going to do the 21 day fix diet plan starting Monday. They have a plan for breastfeeding so I'm hoping it will work. I'll modify more if my supply starts to go down. I just need to eat better to feel better & have something structured to follow.

@jacks605 - I'm measuring a 36E or G. Probably bigger honestly. I have a brand new 36DD nursing bra from Target I can't use. If you're (or anyone else is) interested, let me know. I'll seriously mail it to you. Tags are removed, but I've never worn it.
I also have a brand new nursing sweatshirt I can't use. If anyone is interested, let me know. I'd rather it go to a good home than Goodwill. Money down the drain... It's a nice hoodie, too!
I keep reminding myself I'm only 4w PP. WTF did I think would happen - the extra pounds would fall off? I never magically lost weight nursing J, so I shouldn't expect it this time either.
C is such a chunker right now. He has a potbelly and rolls! I'm positive he'll grown a mile overnight. And Mr. Man's a month old as of yesterday! He loves Big Sister - he smiles at her all the time. PDQ

I hope it's not mastitis, oldbaylover1024! I think you've had enough to deal with already.
Thanks. I think that's were I'm at today. Basically feeling pretty WTF about my body, and having a pity party. Time to get over myself! Shit happens. It could be worse, right?!

Lord, DS1 is so whiny today. It's not even noon and I'm ready for him to take a nap so I can have a break from the incessant complaining. It's like he woke up looking for things to be upset about. I also might need a nap.
It's the day of our city's St Paddys parade today so we each wore a kid and went down since the route runs 2 blocks from our house. It's 21 degrees out so I wore my maternity coat and zipped Poppy up under my coat. Our 17mo old had a great time but it's FREEZING so now we are home under blankets taking naps. I need to do my workout soon during nap or I will never get it done.
