It's 9:04am. I have cooked and eaten breakfast, cleaned my entire kitchen, run the dishwasher, cleaned the dining room and switched all of Gs clothes to 2T and size 7 shoes while packing away anything smaller than that. I have been busy. I want to do more but I will wait for MH to get home in a little bit to keep G occupied.

Good morning. We just finished breakfast here, K is busy destroying the living room and play room because they were just cleaned. R is in the mamaroo and I am enjoying my coffee.
My two friends are coming by today to spend some time with us. And this afternoon I need to grab a few things from the grocery store and stamps from the post office. Big goals with both kiddos. And it's freezing--spring is NOWHERE in sight.

MH is generally a huge help to me. If I give him tasks, he usually completes them and sometimes a little more than that. I went to work last night and asked him to do a handful of things. Most were not done right and I had to fix whatever I could this morning. Examples: The trash and recycling were not completed. A box was left in the dining room and he didn't take out the glass or plastic at all. G was bathed waaaaay too late and she ended up going to bed late. He put her in short sleeved pajamas. It's 25 degrees outside. She needs to be in long sleeves. The dishwasher was not run and none of the dishes in the sink were washed. G's booster seat was gross from dinner. This was not rocket science kind of stuff. I should not have had to fix all of this nonsense on top of doing my usual stuff. Ok end rant. Sorry for the TL/DR

Teach me your magical ways.
I have been up since 3:45 laying in bed thinking about the 5274628293 things that need to be done. Also coffee.
I walked into work at 9:45 and of course my boss was talking to the receptionist. Ugh. Luckily she's going on maternity leave tomorrow and doesn't care and has a DS around the same age as M so gets kid stuff. But still. And I spilled coffee on my shirt too. I added an extra espresso shot so maybe this will wake me up.
They stole my seed bell. I had so many pretty little birdies flying around for one damn day.
Not anymore! Now there are just scratchy little footprints all over the snow and seeds all over. The bell is nowhere to be found
They are the worst. We used to have a bird feeder by a kitchen window and the squirrels would jump for it and miss a lot. One day I walked into the kitchen to see a squirrel spread eagle hanging onto the kitchen window screen.

Heyo! DH took an extra day off, but he's had to go to court 2/3 mornings and a few other appts so this "weekend" has felt like anything but. Tomorrow is our Monday, blerg.
The dog is going crazy asking for a walk. I'm just waiting for the real feel to be above freezing, bitch! Esp if we have the toddler in tow.
I'm a bad dog mom. We hardly walk right now. It's so darn cold. I can't wait for spring.
Oh man, mine would never allow it! We walk 365 days/year. Minimum twice, usually 3x unless the weather is insane. Huskies are a high-energy breed, but yeah...it's a lot. Also my dog is speshul. I generally don't think the fresh air and exercise is the worst thing for any of us, but some days it is a super PITA.

...I will say that DH has taken on most of the walking during this cold snap. "You're pregnant, I don't want you getting sick." Sure, don't have to tell me twice.

They can be so hard to fool! I'd laugh so hard if I saw that on my window, omg.
We hung the bell where we thought they'd struggle to reach. Nope. Took 24hrs for them to figure out how to hang upside down from our evestrough.
Ahhh, I hope he feels better soon. The inhaler is rough.
Thanks lady!
He did surprisingly well on the first dose. But getting him to rinse his mouth and spit the water out afterwards is a bit interesting.
Now he's in his crib intermittently singing and fake crying for his muuuuuuummmmmmmmmy. Lol.
I hope he gets a good nap in. For both our sakes.
Oh that sounds super annoying, sorry. M doesn't need to do that for hers. Sometimes the medicine in the inhaler (depending on what it is) can wind them up a little. It generally takes M a little longer to fall asleep after hers.

Good to know! He seems to be quieting down but he's also wiped. So fingers crossed for at least 2 hours.
