Baby ate allllll night, but is now contentedly laying on his playmat. I'm thinking of walking to the park with the boys in a little while. I have a work thing to do this afternoon, we have to submit a video for an award application. I'm determined my little church ladies be recognized for their hard work.
We are leaving both boys with a sitter tomorrow night, my college roommate is having an engagement party. I'm pretty excited and have a new dress for the occasion!
My mom is taking the boys for the day so my day will consist of target and the mall for some new dressier clothes for work and hitting up Sephora because why not?
My plans for the day also include the mall, mostly because it's too rainy to walk outside.
I also want to go to Michaels to see about spring crafts for DS. And I need to get to target for their diaper sale, but that may wait until tomorrow. I won't have room in the cart for $75 worth of diapers and a car seat. Must go solo!

R was up at 4:30 for the day after 6 hours and 2.5 hours of sleeping. I feel awesome and I'm at the gym for work the first time in a whileeee so happy, so out of shape but so so 😁

S started crying inconsolably at 5 am and I don't know what's wrong. She's only calming down on the boob. So that has been my morning. I was supposed to drop off the car for detailing this morning but I haven't had coffee yet, much less gotten dressed.

DH has a haircut at the salon in the mall this morning, so we'll drop DD1 off at daycare and go. Afterwards I'm going to hit up Ross and see if I can get some inexpensive tops since I apparently only have one non-maternity shirt that fits now. Last night I tried on the bra I ordered from Soma and now my left boob feels like a giant bruise. Not sure if that was the cause, but I'd like to avoid feeling like this again at all costs. Happy Friday!
We got four hours at first but then she got up every two after that. And H couldn't handle his wake up so I had to get out of bed to help him (plus he didn't get her to sleep when he came to bed so she kept me up for an hour so I didn't sleep the four hours).
Well babes finally slept but it was in us. DH took a vacay day today and is taking LO1 to the children's museum for the Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital exhibit. Bummed because they'd been advertising that Doc character would be there then posted on facebook last week oops..typo.
I'm hoping babes aren't latched all day to me again so I can get something/anything done today!
notagoddess - I know you went to a baby wearing class a week or two ago. Zulilly has some woven wraps for $30. No clue if they are a good brand or what you were looking at.

Ugh, allisong87... sephora. You are a woman after my own heart. I could happily live in either a Barnes and Noble or a Sephora.
E slept for 6 hours, ate, then 4 hours and now she'll be up for the day except for short nap stretches. I think in general she's got a very good sense of day and night, so that's good.
I was sick of the food I had in the house, so I went out, got a coffee and a breakfast sandwich and feel very satisfied. I've got a phone interview today at 1:30 and I'm praying that E naps during it or stays quiet.
Any tips for how to keep the baby quiet for like 30 minutes?
N basically does 3 hour stretches like clockwork at night. Sometimes we get a 4hr, but almost never at night, I think it's happened once. I feel like I've adjusted to the short periods of sleep at least.
He continues to be awake for the majority of the day, which makes me wonder why he won't sleep longer at night, but it will come at some point I keep telling myself.
Yesterday, something was going on, im thinking maybe hes starting the growth spurt, he ate almost every hour during the day and was so pissed waiting for his bottle.
Hoping today is better. We are just staying home, it's cold out. Spring!! Where are you???

Thank you, I'll check it out! It's my birthday next week and I'm going to get one, so this is good timing.

wildflower810 thinking of you. I wear DS2 all day today. It's killer on my back.
Our house cleaning lady is coming for the last time. The house is nowhere near picked up as much as is I would like but I only got an hour last night where I wasn't wearing the baby. DH asked if she put laundry away and I laughed and said no that's all us. She's a homeschooling mom so she brings her 4 boys with her. I'm excited for DD1 to play with them all morning and be worn out for a good nap this afternoon.
Since I stopped eating chocolate and caffeine ds2 has been better. Yesterday he didn't want to sleep so he was up all morning then I set him in the swing so I could switch laundry over and he fell asleep for the first time not being held. Then DD1 woke up, accidentally unplugged the swing and he woke up screaming. I was so sad.

linewifekat, thanks. I'm doing better today. My BFF that I haven't seen in 2+ years is flying in this afternoon, so I'm excited! Except I need to drive an hour each way to the airport with both kids during nap time. I'm not sure how that's going to work!

loves2shop4shoes I would do everything you can do get her down for a nap before.. fed, bath, warm and comfy. If she starts crying during you may just have to go in the other room and let her cry for a bit. Just forewarn the interviewer that you've got a baby maybe?

DS slept from 9:30-5 last night. I was up for the day at that point but I'll take 7.5 hours! Unfortunately we probably only got the good stretch because he shrieked all evening because of reflux I think He would shriek, gurgle & then spit up a little curdled milk. I'm going to call the pedi on Monday.

pivot reflux meds have helped us so much! I'm so happy we started them. We have a happier baby because of it. (And it's helped a lot with her very mild case of laryngomalacia). She still sleeps like your average 6 week old--it's no miracle worker, but she's much quieter, and definitely more comfortable. The meds and the RNP. I plan on going straight from RNP to belly sleeping if that's what keeps her comfortable. She naps on her belly during the day and she seems comfortable like that too.

flyinghorses6 Glad to know the meds have helped! The pedi mentioned Zantac if propping him up after eating and propping the bassinet mattress up didn't help. After last nights bout though I think the meds are in our near future.
Poppy and I just spent an hour at BJs stocking up. I never bought formula there with Stella but now I am kicking myself cause it's a lot cheaper. Now I know!
I have been trying to find new easy recipes to make and we have tried a few great ones this week. Last night I made honey sesame chicken in the crockpot and I just heated some up and stuffed it into a baked sweet potato for lunch. It's so good! We are going on a date tonight to a fried chicken restaurant so the diet will be on hold this evening, lol. I've been good at breakfast and lunch to try and make up for it a little.

S Is covered in baby acne. I've never heard of it prior to taking the infant care class at the hospital, and I haven't seen it on any babies in real life. I know it's going to go away in a few months but I miss her perfect new baby skin.

So phone interview went well.
Recruiter has no idea what SEO was... like no idea. It was obvious and comical. I was seriously tempted to be like "you do know what Google is... right?"

Last night was rough. LO wouldn't go to sleep because he was so snotty. I finally went to bed at 1 am and let DH take over. He's better today but still fussy.
