Go team pink!!!! Haha still not having a good time accepting being team pink. The therapist told me it's the PTSD causing my lack of excitement for a girl since it's related to my daughters birth.

mambo, PTSD is no joke. Do whatever you need to help yourself prepare for the birth and don't worry about the sex of the baby. When you hold her, the whole world will be right!

I'm loving all the baby sex reveals today and lately! So exciting. 😁
I ordered some sheets and a new blanket for DH's and my bed. When the box arrived, not only did it contain what I ordered, but it also had a baby onesie in it (assuming from someone else's order). It's definitely meant for a baby boy.... so who knows? Maybe the Universe knows I'm going to need to buy boy onesies this time. Not that I believe in that sort of stuff. 😉
I'm sending the onesie back, btw. I thought about giving it to my BFF who just had a baby boy, but that felt wrong somehow.
RajahMD, I'm sorry, that's so unnerving. Good to hear the transmission risk is low but that's the last thing you need at a time like this!
kirabou, congrats on the crazy surprise twins news! I always secretly hoped they would find a hidden twin at one of our scans, haha.
@wicky and @gotging, YAH for little boys! My gut is telling me we will end up team blue as well but DS is convinced it's a "sistah" so we will find who's right in less than 5 months!
Oh, and my dreams have been so weird/inappropriate and are starting to become serial. I dread going to sleep in case I get the next episode in the saga!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
My dreams this time haven't been so crazy. When I was pregnant with DD, they were scary, like horribly scary. ugh. I can still vividly remember one of them and that was 3 years ago.

LittleStarSweeper I bet if you call the company and tell them, they'll just tell you to hold onto the onesie...no guilty conscience and a free onesie
Yeah, you're probably right... they may, in fact, say that. However, it's totally not my style (could be a good one to keep in the diaper bag as a back-up though). Or I could give it to my BFF's new little guy. Maybe they'd let me exchange it? Hahaha jk
ETA: I ordered NO baby items on that order, so it's pretty crazy that THAT was the extra item I ended up with!
I have had horrifying dreams about DS2. He was in bed with me cosleeping when he was around 6 months and his head turned completely around and he had the face of a demon. Scared the crap out of me.
I woke up to rain. I'm sick of the weather. Just decide what the temperature is going to be. I'm sick of dressing in winter clothes one day and summer the next day. I'm also ready to take out all of the winter clothes from the kid's room but I can't with all this back and forth.
I'm sick of the back and forth weather, too...and I know rain is good...but I'd love a couple days without it just for a mood lifter! We are going to be 80 on Sat and 55 Sunday. I haven't bought mat clothes for winter temps bc it seemed sill for just a short time, so now I'm either freezing or squeezed into things that really don't fit!!

DD and I went to the mall this am to find shoes for DS. Never did find the shoes I was looking for for him, but Herberger's had all of their maternity clothes 50% off. I don't really need any, since DD was a summer baby, but I got a cute dress for $18.
DH just texted and asked if I wanted to get Chipotle with him for lunch. Yes please!!! Chipotle is my staple craving with this pregnancy. And happens to be DH's fave place to eat so he is happy to indulge my cravings.
RajahMD I'm really glad you're okay so far and I also think additional monitoring can't hurt. It sounds like the best case of a shitty situation so I'll keep everything crossed for you.

caybeh all I want is Mexican food since I got KU. Chipotle is the farthest option from me, but has worked it's way into my rotation quite a bit. I have to restrain myself to not eat Mexican every day ha!

I had a dream last night that I was pooping and then I was in labor all of a sudden. I had a home birth and pulled the baby out myself without issue. And it was a baby girl. Pregnancy dreams are so weird. I'm thankful my dreams haven't been scary at least.
So DH and I were talking about a band we liked and how fun it would be to see them in concert. Like an hour later, I see they are actually going to be on our area this weekend....but it's a private show at a college. Bummer!!!

I feel like I have so much catching up to do, and hopefully now that my job situation is resolved I actually can.
I finally, after going through 5 months of waiting for a duty to accommodate, have a job starting May 8th. It's in labour and delivery so very different than I've ever done, and they have no idea I'm pregnant so it should be interesting.
LittleStarSweeper, that reminds me of when I was pregnant with DD. It was very early, and we were not at all trying for a baby, so I had no idea I was pregnant. I work at a hospital, but we don't have babies here. Somehow a tiny newborn shirt ended up in the clean linen, and tumbled out when I grabbed some sheets from the cart. I took a picture of it and sent it to DH (fiancé at the time), talking about how cute it was. He was not amused and little did either of us know that I was pregnant at the time.
I've had a lot of crazy dreams, including sexual ones, but they have all been with my husband, and in the majority of them, my two year old has also been around (as in, we are trying to hurry or be quiet because she's sleeping in the next room, nothing creepy). I can't even go wild in my dreams anymore.
DH got up with the kids this morning and let me sleep in. It was really nice. We are watching our nieces and nephews this afternoon for awhile. They are about the same ages as our kids, so they should just all play together.
