Yeah, let's just say I was not a very kind or happy person this morning. I was 30 min late to work and so angry and stressed that I barely said goodbye to anyone and just left.
I'm hoping it's just a phase (FS1 did something similar for a couple weeks last year...ewww...). But for now, zip up sleepers and onesies with snaps are the only things I'm putting FS2 to bed in.
Taking off diapers is what has me so nervous about R being so big. She's already outgrowing 18m onesies and I'm having a hell of a time finding 24m onesies!
I've gotten some on zulily! He's not there yet, but I snagged some just in case.
@osw I meant to ask this earlier because I was curious, how come you're having to pump so much??
Because M fights me to nurse. She wants to do her own thing and it's frustrating for both of us. I need to go to breastfeeding support group on Tuesday.

@osw oh okay gotcha. Hope the group is able to help. Our doula highly recommended a chiropractor adjustment for babies if they were having trouble nursing, like only wanting to be in certain positions or certain sides, etc.

Yeah she's so strong and she just wants to do her own thing. Even the LC at the hospital called her sassy while she was helping me. I should call tomorrow and see if I can just sit down with the LC privately.

TTMA cold medicine while breastfeeding. My throat has been on FIRE all day long and no amount of tea is helping. I'm nervous about taking anything that would taint the small amount of breastmilk I'm able to give my girls. Thoughts?

My understanding is any type of de-contestant is a no-go. But beyond that I don't know :/ I've avoided all meds

I stuck to Halls and salt water gargles.
Kellymom: Sore throat sprays or lozenges are generally considered safe, as are cough drops. Avoid eating excessive amounts of cough drops containing menthol. Large amounts of menthol can reduce milk supply. Many forms of Robitussin, Delsym and Benylin are considered compatible with breastfeeding.
So Blake had pulled out one of our tables over the weekend, so I set it up so R and I could eat lunch and she actually ate some of her food. I figured it was a fluke because they were foods she's super obsessed with right now. But then at dinner we all ate at the table together and she ate again! I think she might like sitting at the table with us! So much for h ignoring us and playing on his computer at dinner time! Lol
onesweetworld I found this page very helpful when I was trying to get my first to go back to breastfeeding.
Thank you! I also read some on EP'ing so I'm happy to have the knowledge and the options.
That's great! I definitely thought for a while that I was going to end up EPing for my first. For me it ended up being nice that she took to breastfeeding again because she didn't like to be put down while awake so once she stopped sleeping all day it was hard to fit pumping in. I'm sure you and she will do great either way!

Now that M is up for longer stretches I should absolutely try to nurse more instead of bottle feeding. I think I'm just so comfortable with our routine.
R is fighting bedtime hard. Boo. It's already been an hour past when she normally goes down.
Ut oh. I hope she's down and out by now!
Yeah, she went down but too long after I posted. After having Blake read the ants go marching a dozen times then coming over to me and having me sing it a dozen times while she finally nursed to sleep.

It is hard when you have a system that (currently) works! Babies definitely keep you on your toes.
