Not yet. H and I disagree on a lot of names (I'm a teacher so names are difficult for me). I figure once we get past the 20 week AS we will start figuring it out. We didn't have Caleb's name until the night before I was admitted into the hospital. I saw it on a website and knew that that was it. I think H was convinced by my attitude more than the name because I was so sure of it.
We have a short list for boys names (like, 1 name) from when we discussed names for DS. I don't love it with all of my heart and soul, but MH does, so that will likely be it.
Girls are harder. We never came to an agreement about a girl's name last time so we have a long list of maybes. Claire, Quinn, Caroline, Vivian, Adeline, Eleanor, Charlotte - we are all over the map. I have a feeling if we have a girl we may not have a name for several hours (or days) in the hospital.
We have our boy name picked out, but girls are definitely tougher. I think we may have picked one, but I feel like it'll change if we actually find out we're having a girl. For a boy we decided on Connor Michael, and for a girl Kimberly Grace.
Names are so frustrating because DH and I have completely different tastes and so can only agree on very few. I hate all names that he loves and he hates my favorites.
Girl: Penelope, Josephine, Paige, Mary Boy: Jack, Bennett, Wesley
We make bets while we are at the hospital (time of birth, weight, doctor, etc.) winner gets to pick from the list of approved names. I won last time
I've had a running list of names for a while. No final decisions though really. From my list our favs are Boy Zachary Benjamin Gabriel ( I think this has been nixed though)

We're starting to talk names - I think it'll get more serious when we know the sex. @preppy we really like Theodore/Theo! mandy522 I love Charlotte too. freddy that is a hilarious way to choose names - I love it!
Overall girl names seem to come way easier for us. If it's a boy we want to do a "T" first name so the baby can have the same initials as DH & his dad, but that limits us quite a bit. So far we have:
Boys Theodore/Theo Lee Turner Lee
Girls Olivia Grace Parker Jane Charlotte Jolie Evelyn

I have a pretty long list of favorite names, my husband hasn't really thought about it yet. We decided we aren't going to start picking a name until we know if it is a boy or a girl. I only want to pick one name for this baby, not come up with boys and girls names.
Check out the baby names board when you start making decisions! I participated a lot there on TB because I love names and name etymology. Most of the regs from that board migrated over here too.
We had a hard time agreeing last time so we haven't even started that discussion yet. I love a lot of the names you ladies have picked. Edited because spelling.

Me too. Being a teacher makes it so hard. With DS, we waited until we knew the sex to talk about names. Then we came up with two (Leo and Maddox) and waited until we met him to make the final decision. I am glad that we went with Leo because Maddox has become super popular lately. I have always liked Rhiannon for a girl, and this year I have my first Rhiannon. She goes by Annie though, so I don't think she has killed the name for me. With my pregnancy this fall, I was set on Maisie for a girl, even though it's the name of my friend's dog.
Well, I have names I like, but haven't opened the convo with DH yet. Last time we had our boy name set, went into the A/s and sure enough, he was a boy. Never did agree on a girls name. This time, as team green we need one of each. Girl names are so hard for us!! For a girl, I'm currently loving Ruby Leigh. The middle name is to honor my mom, who passed when I was 17.
For a boy, I LOVE Lincoln, but as my sons name is Jackson, Dh has already said he won't go for it because of the president thing. So I have to find more options.
I randomly throw names out all the time. DH really sees no purpose in this exercise until we know the sex. We will have a couple name choices for when we meet the baby and then pick the name.
I have been thinking of names non-stop. It's a great way to distract myself from first tri worries. I've mainly been thinking of girl names. Right now our (my--- my husband thinks it's silly to decide already) front runner is Maeve Caroline.
We like Elliot(t) Lee for a boy (Lee for H's father). I also like Elijah, but H doesn't. I don't know whether I prefer Elliot with one T or two. For a girl, we like Nadia, Grace, and Clara.

We talk about it In passing . Last time names were hard especially boy names .. I'm sure once we know what we are having we will start seriously discussing .

I totally agree. We are both teachers and have some similar issues. We've been talking names for years just because we have so many strong opinions. Our current favorites are Berkeley Hazel for a girl and Asher Everett for a boy, but we'll see when we get closer....
Yup. We've already got 2 possible girl's names we didn't use with A, and the one boy's name. The names must meet a bunch of pronunciation requirements (English, Hindi, French and Spanish) and spelling cannot be absurd (no Brantleigh or Chrystynyha or Aeiou7aeywyllywy). Because DH is a teacher and I'm a sub, we have a lot of "no-way-in-hell-will-we-use-that-name" names, either for student-linkage or as a teacher, the spelling/pronunciation issue. Due to that, though, we've had to discard some faves, like Meghana (means "cloud" in Hindi).
We like Elliot(t) Lee for a boy (Lee for H's father). I also like Elijah, but H doesn't. I don't know whether I prefer Elliot with one T or two. For a girl, we like Nadia, Grace, and Clara.
Elliot David is on my boys list! Also Oliver David.

We've had our names picked since we made lists when I was pregnant with my son. So we're decided on a boy & girl name, but I'm always open to new names. But we haven't changed our minds in 2 years! I love lurking the baby names board!
My husband wants to name a daughter after his mother and sister, and I am down with that. It means a lot to him. The boys name we butt heads over, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it. We are giving him my father's name as the middle name at any rate. I like the idea of family names for the most part. Though Erskin is a name that runs in my family, so... not always.
We have had a girl name picked out for two years. It is in memory of my grandma who passed and also his mom (still with us) a boy name has been tougher to agree on. We have a first name, that I actually hated at first, but has really grown on me. No middle name though.
We have our names already picked out. DD is named Audrey Elizabeth. If she has a brother, his name will be John Henry. If it is a little sister, her name will be Charlotte Emily. They are mostly a mix of family names. We had names picked out before we had DD and had even discussed twin names, so when it came time for baby #2, we already had names picked out.

We haven't seriously talked about it. We've talked a little in the past. We both really like the name Dante for a boy. I'm sure of this kid is a boy that'll be his name. No mn yet. Girls are up in the air. He likes Claire which I don't hate. I like Layla but he said it sounded like a strippers name.

Well we are pretty much screwed if we have another girl. Our DD's name is Dagny (we're big fans of Ayn Rand, Dagny is her main character in Atlas Shrugged)and if we have a boy we are thinking Roark, after the main protagonist in The Fountainhead, with the middle name Carl after my late grandfather. But if we have another girl I'm at a loss. Middle name will probably still be Carl though.
We have known forever our boy and girl names. Arthur and Olivia. I don't care if it's popular, I don't care if any remote cousins use them - those are our names.
