Up for the first wakeup. She went from 8:30-12:35. I'll take 4 hour stretches any day after last night's 2 1/2 hour stretches. Let's hope the next stretch gets 4, too!

Up for the 4th wake up after STTN (pretty much) for three nights this week. F you teeth I'm sorry boobies These are the nights I wish she would take formula
Ugh, I haven't been in my bed since 12:45. DD woke up to eat and took forever to fall asleep. By the time I got her down at 2:00, DS2 was up. I had to lay on his floor for about 2 hours. He was doing this thing where he sleeps so lightly that he pops up immediately if I try to sneak out. DD was up again around 4:00, ate quickly, and I collapsed on the couch in the playroom. Next thing I know, I wake up briefly to DS2 with me on the couch. Seriously!? Up for the day around 6:30. Wheeee.
Just got through some serious teething, followed by a head cold and then DH took a night shift last night, tonight and tomorrow night. Since I am working full time, I prayed really hard last night that Baby J would stay asleep all night and he did! Let's hope the sttn juju sticks around for at least 2 more nights.
We've been up twice now. I'm gonna try some tylenol because he looks uncomfortable but who knows. Might be a bring in bed kind of night.
I wish I would have brought her in our bed last night. I try not to because I don't want her to start crying knowing that's where she will end up, but I also need sleep for work.....its s fine line.

I knew a few good nights of baby sleep were too good to be true. Last night was misery. She was super gassy and it kept her fussy or crying most of the night. Atleast this time I knew what the culprit was...atleast Im pretty sure that's what it was.

Yes. This. Such a fine line. But I fight so hard on rough nights not to bring her in because...sleep.
I ended up bringing him in bed because DH was at work and I was tired of walking back and forth to the nursery. He did ok in bed, but I don't sleep sa well because of how much he squirms. At one point he was totally upside down, butt in the air, feet in my face.

DD's top gums are a little swollen and she gets pissed if I try to touch them so I'm pretty sure this is the culperate of the no sleep we have going on. I gave her some Tylenol when I put her down to see if that would help and she is OUT. Like I haven't seen her this peaceful in days. I'm hoping this lasts for a decent part of the night!
Hoping everyone's babies sleep tonight! Two hours in a LO just woke up.. I rocked him and got him back down but I have a feeling it won't be for long. Seems like we either have really good nights or terrible nights lately with no in between.

This is us. After 4 decent nights, we just had night #2 of shitty sleep. It's a vicious cycle.

So we did Tylenol when we went to bed and then more when she woke up at 3:30, and thankfully only 2 wakeups all night. And she took a super early morning nap. Poor thing must be relieved to get some rest! Probably another Tylenol night tonight.

It's 3:53. C didn't go down until 9:30 because of her stupid cold. We have been up almost an hour because she was/is coughing so hard. She's currently in her swing because if you even try to lay her down she wakes up in a coughing fit two minutes later. I'm hoping that the swing gives her some much needed rest it breaks my heart to listen to her cough. Thank goodness my parents are coming up tomorrow....

Sounds like post-nasal drip if it gets worse when she's laying down. Does Motrin help? Motrin helps DS when he has a head cold because it reduces inflammation, where as Tylenol blocks pain receptors which is why it's good for minor aches, pains and fever reduction. Is my biotech-science-geek showing? Feel free to ignore this if you aren't into giving LO meds!
Hopefully you can get some sleep when the grandparents get there. All of our babies just need to be healthy, stop teething and go the F to sleep already.

Dd has been fighting sleep for 3.5 hours so far. She wakes every time I put her down. She keeps screaming. It's going to be a really long night. I'm really starting to feel sad. I never get to rest, I'm just so exhausted from lack of sleep and feeling fried mentally.

I am so sorry. You seem to have a rough go with getting her to stay asleep. I hope she starts to get better soon

So sorry, it is hard not to be frustrated when you're exhausted. Hopefully she will start to grow out of this soon so you can get some sleep.

Sorry to hear you guys are having a rough time, that would be so frustrating. Is your husband able to take a night so that you can get some sleep?
