An update from earlier post: I resigned today and my boss was actually a human about it. She's usually a robot! An added bonus was making the "mean girls" at work wonder what my meeting with my boss was about. And then realizing they were left out of the loop as other co workers knew about it. I feel so much better! I'll remain full time until end of the month then in July I'll go pool (working as much or as little as I want).
Has anybody tried the miracle noodle aka shirataki noodles? I bought some, made spaghetti. It was ok. Using spaghetti squash was better imo. There's also a tofu shirataki noodle...anybody used those?
DS gets his fear of missing out from me, for sure. Which is why sleep is obviously satan.
Yes! We're dealing with sleep fighting. He's absolutely inconsolable.
You had that last night, too, right? No Bueno. I have spent 3 hours today putting my baby to sleep. So far, since waking at 6:30 am, he has slept 3 hours (including bedtime, which started about an hour ago.) Not cool. One thing I've been doing (so my arms don't fall off) is giving myself a break where he kicks in the crib for five minutes or so. He's not sleeping, but not screaming, so it gives me a chance to recharge. When he starts fussing again, I pick him up and rock/sway again. I've figured out that when he starts to fight a little less (like, he still screams some but is less enthusiastic about throwing himself out of my arms), but before he's completely asleep, is the best time to put him in the crib. It's like he believes he's choosing to go to sleep instead of me forcing him. Not sure if any of this helps, but I would have drunk snake oil a few weeks ago to get even an hour of solid sleep. Take what you can.

Is been awhile, but I bought them. I think it was the tofu ones. They looked like fettuccini. I used it to make Alfredo. It was ok, as well, and I've not bought them since. I think Hungry Girl has lots of recipes that use them (I'm sure that's why I tried them).
Went to an all town yard sale today. Found a few items. A couple sales freaked me out at the mass quantities of baby clothing....that's going to be me in the future, how many clothes does 1 lil boy need?? Give me all the baby clothes!
Bonus was the town was about 30-40min away. LO napped on the drive there and back. He was also a unicorn at all the stops.
I love baby clothes. Until laundry day. I hate folding all those tiny things!
Don't. Just lay them flat and put them in the drawers like that!
But, I'm self admittedly the laziest at laundry, so feel free to ignore.
