So, talk to me about solids. How many 0times a day are you all feeding lo solids?
During the week he gets 2 tubs of stage 2 purée at daycare and then we put appropriate food from our dinner on his tray to get him used to eating textures. He honestly mostly spits it out at this point so the dinner is really just a teaching time. On the weekends if we are busy he misses his purée.
So it totally depends on our schedule. We will make it more of a priority to have it 3x a day in the next few months.
We just left a BBQ with a group of friends that all have toddlers, and all of them were like "Sleep training! It will change your life." They were all saying straight CIO. I'm just not quite ready for that. At the same time, I don't want it to get harder to do. Sigh.
I hate to jump on the bandwagon but if you are still struggling with multiple wake ups and trouble getting back to sleep at this point I really would consider trying it. It is totally life changing and it definitely gets harder when they are older.
i think our toddler is an extreme case so I don't like to use him too much as an example. But not taking an hour or more to get him to go to sleep the past few days has seriously been fantastic. Not getting up 3-4 x a night for a baby is also life changing.
We were lucky that our baby is a good sleeper and we have no need for training, but if you are struggling this is seriously the easiest time to try it. If there is no improvement in crying time after 3 nights then I would say the baby isn't ready.

Once-ish a day. DS is 7 m 1 w, and we do solids (oatmeal and now usually a fruit or veg in the mesh feeder) at dinner time about 4-5 nights a week. We also do experimenting with hunks of cucumber, celery, carrots, and anything else I think might be fun (sweet potato fry) 2-3 times a week. I'm hoping to switch up and do oatmeal earlier in the day, and fruits/veg in the evening over the next month. Our pedi said to do cereal everyday for the iron (because of BF, but I've heard mixed opinions about whether this is necessary); otherwise I would skip it because DS isn't really into it. I got a GREAT tip to get him to eat with the spoon this week: give him one spoon to hold, and use another spoon to feed him. It worked!

We offer twice a day. Usually oatmeal with fruits mixed in for breakfast. And then I'll let her gnaw on some banana or apple or toast.
Again at dinner, and same thing - purées plus let her have some avocado, cucumber, or something we're eating to gnaw on as well.
She didn't start eating much until she was about 7 months when she finally starting eating much better. Still only about 1 container per meal. Then recently (she'll be 8 months on Tuesday) she seems to be refusing more purées and wanting finger foods.
Baby is good. DH is still refusing to eat and drink. If I have to take his ass to the hospital bc he is a pansy I will kill him myself (not really but you know what I mean)
Be careful. I once told H he needed to suck it up, and then vented about the man-cold to friends at work. It turned out to be pneumonia and a very serious case of it too.
S gets solids 3 times a day - fruit with some sort of grain for breakfast (weekends he gets eggs), and all veggie blend for lunch, and then "real food" for dinner (straight from our plates, but I also supplement his plate with extra fruit and veggies) and he usually gets another 3 - 4oz of puree, which can be a veggie blend, or veggies and ricotta. I generally don't offer purees with meat in them, so he gets fish and meat from our plates only.

I'm the same way about meat purées..the thought sounds awful.
