Mornin! I slept like crap, LO woke up at 3, fed & changed he went back to sleep. I was wide awake until 5. Then LO slightly fusses at 6 & 7, but eventually goes back to sleep. He woke up now & DH is with him. Silly baby. Is this a sleep regression period?? He's 6.5months & the 3/4am wake up has been the norm for about 2.5wks.
I think I'm going to make French toast and eggs. Maybe do some more yard sales. I was secretly hoping for rain so dh would be around and we could clean out our garage, it's a disaster!
I'm sitting here with a napping baby which is heaven. I haven't seen much of C this week because of a lot of work stuff. And we have to leave around 11 to go to PA for MH's cousin's grad party. Ugh....
Morning ladies! I'm going to attempt to make one of those footprint flower pots that you turn their feet into a butterfly for my mom this morning. Her birthday is Monday and I think she will really like it. This is our first footprint project though so I'm not so sure about how it will turn out.
Baby is good. DH is still refusing to eat and drink. If I have to take his ass to the hospital bc he is a pansy I will kill him myself (not really but you know what I mean)
I'm all caught up on the UO and Friday randoms and FFFC for this week.....That felt awkward.
Yesterday DH had the day off so I left him home with dd and went to lunch with a girlfriend and then spent the afternoon with my mom. It was a glorious 7 baby free hours. When I got home she had been given dinner and a bath and was ready to nurse and go to bed.
Not too much going on this weekend. Our landlord is supposed to replace our refrigerator. And we'll give him our 60 day notice that were moving out. I always feel awkward about those things. Don't know why.
Morning! I've been laying in bed shopping on Amazon for the last hour for kids books to add to M's wish list!
I have one of those for DD. I think I'm the only one that cares about it though. She loves books!
Me too! Which reminds me that I haven't looked at it or added to it in quiet a while. I've been trying to stay off amazon lately because every time I get on it I spend way to much money, because ya know - prime.

Let me know if you need anything.
Thanks! He ate some crackers. I think me and the nugget are going to go shopping soon. I need a change of scenery.

Cue evil laughter.
MIL is childish. BIL's baby is due any day now. Today is MIL's sister's birthday. Since BIL announced the pregnancy, all MIL has said is "I don't want him born on sister's birthday."

My mom did this for me for mothers day! So cute!! Have fun making it!
Hey everyone! Just hanging out until we leave for a graduation party in NJ. DH keeps trying to get out of it...I keep ignoring his excuses. Hope everyone has a good Saturday!

Hey ladiessss. I'm here. I know tomatoes might be thrown but we decided to let DS cry (with periodic comforting) for the first time last night. The reason I ultimately did it is a few of my friends with 2-3 year olds were telling me how they wished they tried it when their LOs were babies. They have toddlers who have never slept through the night and they regret not trying CIO during the 6-8 month period. I also have a friend who paid a night nurse to sleep train her baby and I used some of her techniques.
Anyways. It ended up being about an hour of crying with us going in every 10 min. until he fell asleep. It was so, so, so heartbreaking. DH and I both feel like crap about it. We committed to trying this for a few days though. So there's that. Sigh.
I hope I'll come out the other end of this with an unpsychologically damaged, well rested baby. I'll keep you posted. DS woke up this morning in a good mood so that made me feel a bit better.
In other news, I just bought 6 bottles of great wine. I'm going to uncork one of those suckers and try to stay calm.

Yes, please keep up posted on how it goes! My kid has been so restless lately. DH keeps asking when we're supposed to let her cry and I just haven't been able to do it. But I'm about to loose it if I don't get some sleep soon. I haven't had any caffeine since Monday because of my stupid tooth, plus my meds are making me drowsy. I've reached a level of tired that I haven't seen since DD's first week home from the hospital
Hi, I'm here. I'm at work but I get to leave in 45 minutes so yay!
But then I'm going to help SIL paint her new house so boo!
Our babysitter fell through so DD is coming with us. I'm not sure how much help I'll really be able to be with her there but at least I'll look like I'm trying. I don't want SIL to be mad at me forever so I'm trying to play nice.
I got up at 5:30, and no one went back to sleep, so at least I was on time to meet my mom and her friend for breakfast. We went yard sale-ing after and I got a few little things, then we went to Carters and we all know how that went. DS will be having a very handsome summer, and will be so cute at his baptism tomorrow! Now I'm working on getting DS down for a nap before we go grocery shopping, then off to a BBQ.
