pixie523 Yep that's about where I'm at too, although I AM still nursing and my diet is better than pre-pregnancy. I'd like to punch everyone who told me the weight would just "fall off" if I nursed. False. EBF since Day 1 and not even close.
We had a phase for a long time where LO would be up after one hour and then do a long stretch. Not sure what her phase is right now, last night sucked. She apparently thinks she's a newborn again lol.
Okay. You ladies make me feel must better about milk intake. Like MsNicole06's LO mine would do solids all day and can't care about bottles lately. And like nerdalert we were up newborn style all night. I think from 2am to up for the day at 5:30 I must have gone in there 9 times?

Count Myles in for not wanting as much milk. He's just not interested and finishes only about half his bottles these days. He'll take all the solid food he can get though. It's such a relief to know we're not alone. I know he's still getting enough.
So basically what I'm getting is just give him more solids because he wants and just make sure he gets whatever milk he wants and not worry about eating a full 6 oz

jjh1119 yes that seems to be the general rule. I would have been more worried but DD's Dr. told us at her 6 month appt this would happen and she'd let us know when she wanted more solids and less bottle. Dr was so right about it all.

This makes me feel so much better! Thank you!
SAME. I was getting stupidly stressed about ounces and intake, even though she'll take down half an avocado happily.
We have been stressing out as LO is only taking 3 oz in the morning. She'll take 3-4 oz out of 5 oz after we get home. I think we are stuck on the mentality that she should be on all BM/formula and that solids are to be offered after she finished her bottle so that we aren't replacing BM/formula nutrients with solids until she turns one.
It sounds like many of our kiddos are now in the boat of solids over milk. This makes a good thread of its own.
