Heading in, what's on your mind? This is a group appointment with the nurse, there will be 5 newly pregnant couples there including us. The nurse goes over some pregnancy basics, and also different options for testing along the way, their philosophy and some other stuff. You can ask questions too. This is only sort of an appointment, but I am still excited for it, so I am counting it. I've heard it's really helpful for FTM, so hopefully it is!

Will you take notes and update us? my doctor doesn't offer anything like this.

Definitely! Some stuff will be different practice to practice, but a lot isn't. It's a midwife and OB practice, which I thought was really cool, kind of the best of both worlds (for me anyways).

Day of Appointment: Friday, July 17
Weeks/Days: 5w 2d (on Friday)
Will you have a ultrasound? No - it's just a pregnancy confirmation appointment. All they'll have me do is pee on something. But apparently it's something my office does.
Heading in, what's on your mind? I assume I'll schedule my next visit at the appointment Friday so I'm curious when it will be and what will happen.
jewel441 - Definitely let us know what you think of the group meeting. My OB's office has a group of midwives in-office as well and they do a program called "Centering Pregnancy" which sounds similar to what you're appointment will be like. It will be nice to know what someone else thinks while deciding if that's what I want to do.

Idk how many weeks I am. My first beta was 8269 so my guess of 4 weeks is either off and I have a healthy pg, not off and it could be twins or triplets or a molar. I'm obviously scared shitless to find out.
Us mañana.
What's on my mind is holy eff. I am scared of a not healthy pg. need all the good vibes to get through today!!!

My doctors office just called and they want to repeat betas and progesterone testing on Wednesday. My progesterone was low last week and I was put on the progesterone supplements. I am nervous, but also happy I don't have to wait to hear anything else until the appointment on August 7.

Day of Appointment: Today
Weeks/Days: 4+3
Will you have a ultrasound? No
Heading in, what's on your mind? This was supposed to be a consult due to having a hard time TTC, but instead it will be a what's-the-plan meeting. I'm hoping for lots of handholding the next few weeks to help reduce anxiety.

*Update*
Holy smokes, I LOVE my new doctor!! He specializes in infertility, which is one of the reasons I chose him. He was so understanding of our situation, and has an amazing treatment/care plan for me. We did a draw today for HCG and progesterone, and I'll go in again Wednesday to repeat HCG. Hopefully, those numbers come back great. Based on Wednesday's numbers, we'll set up my first appointment (hopefully around 6 weeks) for an U/S to check on things. From there, I'll be going in every 2 weeks until I hit 20-22 weeks or whenever I start to feel baby move consistently. Doc understands that having the losses changes the experience for us, and will do whatever we need to maintain sanity. I feel so much better knowing that we have this plan - hopefully, everything continues to go well!

Betas are back! HCG is 256, and progesterone is 24.4. Repeat draw Wednesday. Doc is happy with both numbers, which is a bit of a relief. C'mon Baby T, keep growing!!!

Day of Appointment: tomorrow!!!
Weeks/Days: I think 5 wks 6 days... Maybe I'll have a better idea tomorrow.
Will you have a ultrasound? Yes!!!
Heading in, what's on your mind? I've been spotting since last Wednesday (this is fairly normal with FET peeps), it has been driving me crazy though. I just keep praying that everything is perfectly fine. Either way, I hope to have a much clearer idea of what is going on. Either all is good and normal or not.

@sluttybigb00bz I think it's probably great news that they are both growing at the same rate! I definitely think error could be because of the two different doctors.
jtizzay how did your betas come back yesterday? Crossing my fingers that today's appointment goes well!
I didn't get the betas yesterday because I was too busy to call. In 96 hours they went from 8269 to 24k. I am 6 not 4 weeks though so that makes more sense!!

jtizzay, congrats! So crazy you are that far ahead!
*Update for me:
We have a bean as well! Seriously, Hallelujah! I was so worried with my spotting, but it all looks good. Dr still said 5 wks 6 days, but US measured exactly 6wks, so that's what I'm sticking with. Because of my spotting, we still are on a strict no intercourse rule for the WHOLE 1st trimester!! We have never gone that long... poor DH. It's already been 4 weeks !

Will you have a ultrasound? No - It was just a phone appointment.
Heading in, what's on your mind? I didn't know what to expect from the phone appointment, but it ended up being a replacement for the paperwork appointment they used to make you go in for before. It was nice being about to sit on my couch and say "No" to all of the questions about family history instead of having to go in to do it in person like I did for my other pregnancies. At the end, I was able to schedule my real first appointment (with ultrasound) for 7/27, and I need to go in sometime next week to do my 1st tri bloodwork.
Day of Appointment: blood draw tomorrow and appointment Wednesday
Weeks/Days: 6w 1d
Will you have a ultrasound?yes
Heading in, what's on your mind? Hoping that blood work comes back good and that we see the heartbeat
*Update Us! How did it go??
Update:
second betas came back good.
Ultrasound was great. We got to see the heartbeat today which was a relief. We'll hear from the dr.'s in a couple days and go over dating and anything else they found.
My doctors office just called and they want to repeat betas and progesterone testing on Wednesday. My progesterone was low last week and I was put on the progesterone supplements. I am nervous, but also happy I don't have to wait to hear anything else until the appointment on August 7.
Update:
betas today- 3712 progesterone up to 17.2!
last Tuesday and Thursday- betas were 101 & 250 progesterone was 11 & 7.7
