I can't believe that my little man will be here in 2 weeks from tomorrow at the latest. I am soooo unprepared - well that's not true. Bags are packed, we have a car seat, diapers, clothes, somewhere for him to sleep...I think I am just in denial about the whole birthing process...
And ...I just ordered 3 meals from the deli for lunch. Well - they will hopefully last me through at least half of dinner. I am ravenous these days.
When is your due date?? How are you having him 2 weeks, it will only be February??
Sorry, I apparently missed something! I'm freaking out over here bc I feel totally unprepared and I can't imagine any of us "march moms" having a planned baby in 2 weeks!
I'm getting really pissed with PB right now. I can't upload a picture b/c it says the forum has reached it's maximum attachment size. I go to the tapatalk app. It makes me create a tapatalk ID and confirm my email. Okay, I did that. Now it STILL won't let me upload any attachments and says I haven't verified my email. WTF.
I haven't gotten through the last few pages but it took a few hours for my verification email to show up. Double check your spam folder too. Your tapatalk user login is completely separate from PB.

mrsh288bitsybelle84winningcolors thanks guys! It really wasn't bad at all and ill try to work that arm a little extra so it doesn't get too sore! Good tip!
The appointment did go well, LO kept kicking the Doppler and then SO took me to moe's after. Win!
mrsh288 I feel the same way about anyone disciplining my kids when I'm right there. And your poor little one! I get so broken hearted when kids are mean to each other like that! Let him sit with you kid!
So last night i started getting some constant pain above my belly button. I was able to sleep, i drank some water and just went to bed early. Nothing is really sharp or tiemable and i dont think my stomach is getting hard, it's just uncomfortable. When i got out of bed this morning it's back. I'm just taking it easy at work and maybe I'll leave early. I decided this where I literally have no more fucks to give at this point of the pregnancy.
And i decided to go for it and wear my fleece leggings to the office. jennypm that's a big move for me. Dh was like are you going to work like that? And I'm like yup. See above. Baha.
I don't know if I can possibly like this hard enough!! Love! ETA: but also sorry for the uncomfortablness and pain you were in hope it goes away!
Second pill down and the back pain has gone away a little but still having contractions. I do think if it weren't for the back pain I wouldn't even know about contractions since my pain tolerance is pretty high.
On another note.... I've been thinking.... I've come to terms with possibly pooping during labor but with being so gassy lately (TMI sorry not sorry) WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FART?! YOU LITERALLY FART IN MULTIPLE PEOPLES FACES! I'm not even sprinkling glitter and perfume anymore I'm straight up clearing a room with my gas now and I am super concerned about this. My dr is so sweet and nice the last thing I want to do is blow her away!
DS was awesome today. He found a boy who didn't mind him sitting next to him plus his mom was nice too. He even kept calling me over to sit with him, which he never does. He made me do the dances along with him. It was pretty adorable. I sent H a video and all he wrote back was "I love him so much" Then we sat in the Taco Bell drive through for 20 minutes, but it's Taco Bell so it was totally worth it. Now to tackle nap time...

HALP.
wifieo FX the second pill makes the contractions stop!
and your post made me laugh out loud. I'm not of much help- I had a c-section and I am having a repeat, butttt if you get en epidural you're numb from the waist down (from my understanding?) so I'm not sure if you'd have much control over that anyway so maybe they're used to it?
wifieo LOL I'm so sorry, your post literally has me cracking up.
FWIW, prior to my c-section with DD, I had gotten an epidural. I did not know that once you get it, you have no control over anything down there. I just remember laughing in the middle of labor and DH goes, "What's so funny?" I replied, "I can't stop farting!" They just kept coming and there was nothing I could do about it.

I think skrittens was having high BP issues & her docs said 37 weeks was the end of the road for her! Or sooner if her BP gets too high again, IIRC.
I'm with you on the freaking out that we're going to start seeing term birth announcements very soon. FREAKING OUT.
Yes! We actually have 4 huskies! I love these furry guys!
I've been trying to convince H to let me get another one since they're such pack animals! I love the breed, but they are definitely a handful and so stubborn sometimes too smart for their own good.

I was thinking the same thing too! I'm over here knowing full well that I am the last of the pack, but 2 weeks!

So I hadn't even thought about this. Here I was concerned with pooping and now I have another level of stress. I gases have gone to the next level with their perfume. WTH!!
Is anyone else annoyed at the welcome page on tapatalk because it still says Happy Holidays and it's almost February? lol I've decided that I'm gong to use sick leave to take off every Friday from work until baby comes. I have plenty of leave to use and I'm beyond sick of dragging my pregnant ass to work. I've already blocked the days out on my calendar so people can't schedule me for meetings.
I decided to do this as well! I started last week and it was the best day ever. Plus knowing every work week is short makes waking up on mondays a bit easier
I have officially reached the point where my wedding ring no longer fits.
I got there this morning as well. It's been a few days coming, but still sad. I'm glad I was able to wear my set through my shower last Saturday, though. I have my grandmother's wedding band, which is a little bigger than mine, so I'm substituting that for now. I will not enjoy when that is too small.
I hate to tell all you FTMs, but labor is far from sexy and glamorous. It's a sweaty messy endeavor in which you will most likely puke, pour snot, fart, shit, and pee all at the same time. Motherhood is beautiful! Don't worry, you'll come out the other side and give zero fucks what anyone thought about any of it.

I had to take it off during our class last night too. My hands go back and forth during the day, so I can wear it at one point, then at another point my hands are so swollen I can barely get it off. I told him we should probably invest in a simple chain so I can still wear it until the swelling goes down.
I totally peed all over when pushing DD out last time. I thought it was the last of the waters. Guess not. That's what I get for drinking 30oz of fluid trying to get rid of BHs before my water broke...
Lol! I love catching up late to the party because these discussions are great. I fully intend to fart and potentially poo in the tub at birth. High five.
Sending creepy hugs to all of you dealing with frustrating shit right now.
Have my 32 week appt in an hour. We'll discuss our trip to Denver next weekend and be sure I'm good to go. We got travel insurance, but it'll be nice to have the professional's blessing.
So I've had horrible luck with both Tapatalk and PB apps - have downloaded and deleted both. They say they aren't connecting to the forums so I'll make sure I'm confirmed & everything (even though I posted from them fine yesterday.)
I was a bit stressed bc LO is transverse and at 35 weeks while she still has time to move I've been advised to try to get her head down ASAP before she gets so big where moving is difficult (plus it's REALLY uncomfortable for me). On Monday I ditched my regular office chair and started using a ball chair and a kneeling chair (alternating btwn the 2 every few hours). After just two days of that my chiropractor says my pelvis and hip alignment has improved quite a bit, so that's great news for getting LO into good position. I'm staying hopeful!
Then, even though I keep my belly as well oiled as a stripper's ass, the past few days my stomach has been itching so terribly that I was worried I might be developing PUPPS. None of my go to tools (coconut oil, pure Shea butter, natural lotion) were working. I tried California Baby Calendula Cream and it worked! I'm so happy bc I felt like I was on fire and it soothed that all away. Thought I'd share if anyone else needs some itchy help.
There is hope for the transverse baby! Mine was transverse up until a few days ago. I sat on the ball a lot more and tried not to recline too much each day. Today I had my 35 week appointment and she is now head down. My OB said that a transverse lie is really easy to turn naturally so I wouldn't give up hope yet. I'm sure you aren't looking to having a version but he also indicated that it's fairly quick for a transverse lie. I hope you don't have to go that route though. This is my second and both were transverse until 34 weeks.
Re: pooping during delivery: The L&D nurse who taught our class mentioned that if you poop, you're pushing right. So, while it doesn't sound glamorous, at least it means something. Also, my friend said she had no idea that she pooped since the nurses did such a great job cleaning up right away. She only found out because her H told her latet.
