1) Name picked out 2) Putting DS in a full size bed this weekend to reuse his crib 3) Researching double strollers 4) Making a list (but not yet a registry) for things that I want the second time around... the biggest thing right now is a RNP (Rock and play)
The snugapuppy is on sale at target.com for $59. It is the new model, with the comfy insert and the vibration. It's the same as the new snugamonkey, but with lighter fabric (which could look dirtier). We had the original snugamonkey (this was before the new vibration models), and the darker insert was very forgiving. DS and my nephew both used it, and when I gave it to a friend last summer it still looked new! The monkey is the most expensive rnp though (unless you don't get vibration), so we're getting the puppy this time.

That's really cute, and a great value! I was looking at the plain ones also(I can't think of another word to describe them, I don't mean that negatively), because they have cute patterns and are much cheaper. But DH won't go for it. 2 years ago, when we were shopping for DS' rnp (we bought it in the store at target), the rnps without the insets were quite hard at the bum part (where the incline meets the bottom tray). The insert made a big difference (you couldn't even feel the plastic shell on the snuga models), so we chose that one. Once we got it home, we realized that the insert is super easy to take off and wash (for spit up situations and stuff like that). We only washed the whole thing every 2 weeks or so, or if there was major bodily fluid leakage! The entire fabric cover comes off for washing, but it's a PITA to do frequently. Washing the insert was no big deal. My suggestion would be to go feel the 2 models in person, there is a difference. (I do like how the plain ones come in better patterns and colors though!).

Thanks for that tidbit! I'll have to see if I can find a similar model in store and look! Target usually has a few good sales on baby stuff throughout the year, so hopefully another one will come before August (moving is putting a huge cramp in my shopping right now).
Mehhhhh. We haven't done much at all. We've had a girl name for like a decade, but DH and I can't agree on a boy name. I don't think we are doing a nursery, DS has a room and a play room. We never used the nursery for the first year except for clothes storage. I think we'll just get a bigger dresser and they'll share. The play room is a life saver, also works as my office and the guest room. I'm not sure we can swap all that just to have an official nursery. The little one will be in our room anyway. It does make it a little anti climatic, though! We probably won't have any type of sprinkle since we're so far from home, but I have a feeling the grandmas will go crazy and cover a lot of what we'll need.

We've talked about names but other than that we haven't really prepared. I'm too anxious to do anything before second trimester! We need to do some purging in the dumping ground spare room that will become the nursery. I'm also planning on ordering some maternity clothes soon.
I bought a double stroller:) (SO CUTE, btw, but a freaking tank compared to my single stroller!) We also have names chosen (we have a couple chosen for both a boy and a girl, we like to discuss names and have the same taste thankfully, so it's fun for us:) And we've arranged to get the toddler bed my dad's been saving for just such an occasion, so LO will get DS' crib (once we move them in together and convert DS' now-toddler bed back into the crib lol!). Oh, and I've picked out the carseat we need that creates a travel system with the new 2x stroller:) Wow, writing this out I actually feel a lot more prepared than usual!
We have done nothing, other than meandering around Buy Buy Baby looking at things. I'm still not quite confident enough, but not sure I will ever be, so I will need to get on it at some point. I DID buy the shoes in this picture. This what we will be using for our announcement, although obviously it won't be taken in our kitchen. The shoes are a size 2, and will be useless for anything other than cuteness, but I just couldn't help myself!!
I've made a list of things I liked last time that I want more of (we only had one Miracle blanket, for example). I picked out an infant carseat since DD's expires in November and I kind of hated it anyway. I bought a Joovy Ultralite Sit n Stand before I was even pregnant, because I like to take long walks with DD and she's too big for a regular stroller but still to little to walk multiple miles, and we knew we'd be TTC soon. We're 95% sure on first names. We will use the same crib and bu new sheets if it's a boy. We are in a two bedroom house that we are putting on the market next month, so no nursery prep here, and probably not until after LO is born.

arimaythea whatever you do don't watch the birth videos on you tube! when I was a Ftm, I did, wish I hadn't, couldn't un-watch it. I was afraid of labor and had weird labor dreams for weeks!

Wow I am such a slacker! I have the decor picked up, bought a bouncing chair, and a twin sized breastfeeding pillow. Oh and I am getting twin strollers for free since my friend has it and was going to give it to goodwill! Nothing else is done and I am 13w3d!!!
TTC#1 since Feb 2011 With an RE since 2012 August 2012/March 2014: Med cycles, 5 IUIs, 5 IVFs and nothing. Diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure (POF)
We adopted four embryos! Transferred 2 - they both took!!! Rebecca & Sara born at 23 weeks on 04/06/15. Rest in peace my angels. May 2016 - Transferred one embryo. BFP on 5/11!! We are due in January 2017!
When we told my two year old that he was going to be a big brother, he decided he needed to sleep in his big boy bed so the baby could have his crib. TEARS.
We designed his whole big boy room in the fall so it's totally good to go. I just need to move the last of his toys out of the nursery so we can revamp for #2. No major purchases because it was still very much a nursery. New paint and new theme this time.
Names are picked out.
Contemplating if I really want a double stroller (probably). And I need to figure out what the heck kind of camera monitor can be added to our existing system. Why are those things so complicated??
I'm also feeling a bit stagnant until we find out the sex. Five more weeks!!
We have names picked (Esther and Elijah), and I bought a new Tula. Since we already have three kids, and our youngest is 2, we still have most of the crap we need, including an infant car seat. We'll just need newborn clothes (gave all ours away), and new homebirth/pp supplies, which we won't by for a while.
Oh, I also asked a friend if we could borrow her co-sleeper.
What Tula??? I'm pretty sold on Lil Rascals.
I bought a cloudy second hand off a swap. I also have a toddler ukulele for my 2 year old. Did you see the new Anchor print coming out tomorrow? I feel that I may need it as well...

Yeah, it's awesome! I don't like Lovely Rascals, though. Cloudy is always good.

I don't love Lovely Rascals either. I haven't been a fan of a lot of their prints lately.

I have a friend who swears by Tula's. Looking on their website I can see why. I had another friend recommend the K'tan carrier wrap but they don't come in very many colors or patterns.
I haven't even had my 1st appointment (it's in 6 days!) and I am going to be making onesies to announce to our parents after the appointment. It crossed my mind how sad I'd feel if this appointment didn't go well and I would have these hand made onesies laying around... but I guess you can say that about everything you do in life.

13 weeks here. I bought myself a snoogle, and I'm so in love with it that I think I should name it. Otherwise, I have nothing. We have not even told our parents yet and have no announcement plans to do so. I think somethung might be wrong with me.
Nothing yet but as soon as I know boy or girl I am going to start making a wardrobe, a ring sling, a soft structured carrier, burp cloths, receiving blankets, and anything else I can make.

I have been stalking craigslist for strollers and an ergo/beco but haven't bought anything yet. We definitely have plenty of time to buy stuff. Someone is selling a city mini GT that is "like new" and started out at $300. They are now down to $200. I don't want to buy too much till my NT scan and Mat21 are back.
