I haven't had any weight issues (related to my IUD...haha). At first the strings were too long on mine, and H and I could both feel them - when I went back for my follow up, Dr cut them shorter, and it hasn't been an issue since. About a month ago, I thought it had gone through my uterus or something, and really freaked out because I couldn't find the strings. But the Dr just did an U/S to confirm it was still there, and the pain I was having was just ovulating for the first time since September 2013!
isolemnlyswear, I'm surprised to see you ask the question, but I've had mirena since about 2 months PP. It's been great, I haven't had any periods, but I have had lots of random spotting, so that can be frustrating.
DH has come ALONG way he sees how much work 2u2 is and does not want 3u3
We aren't 100% sure about having a 3rd so I want to leave the option open. I do not want to chart and boo on condoms. I had a bad reaction to pills (headaches, nausea, extreme exhaustion) so at my appointment today my dr recommended either IUD.
Wait, I may be confused but your DH gets to choose if you take birth control or not?

Not choose, but we weren't on the same page about it. We are Catholic and so taking birth control is a big no no. However, I am on the stance that if that keeps me out of heaven alone then I really don't have a shot anyways... DH did not feel that way.
Of course I can choose to do as I wish but it's a pretty big decision so I'm more comfortable if we are on the same page.
