So I've been MIA today because T has learned to escape from baby jail... no rest for Mama.
Currently he is enjoying a superbowl snack of floor explosion cheerios & puffs... he made it rain... and I vacuumed yesterday so, it's all good. Even if I didn't...
Rough day over here. LO didn't go to sleep until midnight last night and then was up at 6. He has been screaming most of the day. I'm pretty sure its teething, he has no fever or anything. However, its making for a rough day. He's finally napping and I went to grab a drink only to find I had the last one a few nights ago. So sad DH went to watch the game so I can't even send him across the street to pick up more. Ice tea it is I guess.
Poor LO. Today was the second time we tried something with baked egg in it - she has an egg allergy and most kids can tolerate it in baked products. The first time she didn't have any reaction but it was a small amount. She ate a whole muffin this afternoon and she's been sick since. She just threw up a little bit ago We wanted to try it before her birthday because cake, but now we know baked egg is out too.
I don't hate football but don't regularly watch it. I love sports in general so I'm enjoying the game while bumping and playing with the kids. I'll be popping some crescent rolls in the oven in a bit and serving up the first pot roast I've made. I'm going to be really mad if it's not good, that roast was expensive!

I think the party was a success! We have a ton of stuff leftover, but we'll eat it throughout the game, and have more for snacks tomorrow. DD did great, especially since she only slept about 45 minutes for her afternoon nap.
starfisher I'm so sorry. I know some vegan baked goods use chia seeds instead of egg, so that may be an option if you're looking to make something yourself.

Aww, I'm sorry. Hoping that she'll outgrow it with time.
