We made it! 2 stops, and only the last 30 min or so of the drive was bad.
Random thought: cranberry sauce is a staple at my dad's house. All year round, he probably has it with dinner 3 times a week. I love it and eat it whenever I am home but have never even thought about buying it for our house.

You guys. Are we going to be exhausted for the rest of our lives?
When I had DS (re: terrible sleeper) I asked all of my friends when the sleeping got better. Age 2, they all tell me, and we're close enough to that for it to be the case for him. Course we added another just as things started to get better.
I guess this is why my friends have their kiddos 2 years apart...

Haha so, 2018? Yikes. It gets SLIGHTLY better before then right?

My dd1 became an amazing sleeper at 9 months. Then at 2 went through a horrible sleep regression for a couple weeks. I thought I was going to die lol. Since then every couple months we have a little regression usually. It's actually worse when you get used to all the sleep and then suddenly they stop sleeping on you.

So much this! The sleep regressions leave me feeling like a zombie!

My first was a terrible sleeper until about 7 months when it got better. Starting at 15 months she became an excellent sleeper. She will be 3 in a few weeks and we haven't had any setbacks since.
The hummingbirds showed back up today!!! This seriously is the bestest news. They make so happy. I've had my feeder out for about 2wks waiting for them. #happyday

Got out of the house just now once DH got home to try and find something to wear for my future SILs bridal shower Saturday.
1.) I'm never buying clothes again. I almost started crying in the dressing room. 2.) Was freaking out for 5 mins thinking I lost my wallet. It was in my hand.

First cloth diaper experience today! Excited to see how things go.
How did it go?
I had a dodo bird moment today. We use prefolds. I changed him, got his jammies on, and was about to walk out the door when I remembered I hadn't put a cover on. Glad a caught it, he would have made a big mess in the hour it takes to get the kids to school!

My daughter never became a "good" sleeper. So we just kept her in bed with us. She still joins us now (middle of the night or in the morning) but I find with LO snuggled close both of us sleep better. Just a thought!

It went well! We have pocket diapers, and the first one leaked some urine out the top because the cover got folded down a bit. He then went through 2 diapers in about 30 minutes because he was a tricky pooper. Thought he was done, gave him 10 or so minutes to verify, changed him, and 5 minutes later he pooped again. Now to teach DH the ways of cloth - hopefully next week we'll be switched over.
Went to the pedi today for E's reflux and she said he gained too much weight in the last 10 days and I should cut back on feeding. He gained 12 oz in 10 days. FF mommies, how much is your LO eating? Ethan is at ,4 oz every 3ish hours sometimes a little more if he's still hungry. He's 5 weeks.
My LO who is almost 10 weeks eats about 24 ozs in a 24 hour time period. Six bottles of 4 ozs but she's sleeping a long stretch at night - last bottle around 9:30 and wake up at 6.
I looked back and at 5 weeks she was eating 3 oz bottles for a total of 21 -24 ozs. So probably 7-8 bottles.
Are you doing paced feeding ( holding baby almost upright)? What brand of bottle are you using?

I take it weight gain is different for ff vs bf? E was 10 lbs 15 oz last Wednesday and 12 lbs 2.5 oz today and no one thinks that's too much. She's 5.5 weeks and has gained over 4 lbs from her birth weight. I guess ff are supposed to gain slower?

Could be going through a growth spurt. If babies are over fed, they'll puke it back up. Is he keeping it down?
The only other thing might be the brand of bottle. Tommee Tippee Level 1s have a faster flow than other brands. You could try going down 1/2 ounce each feeding to see if he is satisfied with a slightly less amount. I would continue to feed on demand though even though you have a loose schedule.

We've been struggling with the opposite problem. B is a hybrid FF/BF. But I do know my pedi said that they like to see them gain 5-10oz per week, which looks like E is on the upper of norm then.
B is eating 3-3.75oz per feeding every 2-4hrs. I think I remember E being bigger than B, in which case the quantity he's eating doesn't seem extremely high. I second trying the paced feeding. But honestly it sounds like you're doing a great job, Momma!!

I've accidentally skipped the cover a few times. Luckily I've caught it every time, but usually after I get her completely dressed and then see the empty cover. DS uses best bottoms so it's all one piece. Can't wait till this tiny girl fits into OS and we are out of prefolds and covers.
