My LO who is almost 10 weeks eats about 24 ozs in a 24 hour time period. Six bottles of 4 ozs but she's sleeping a long stretch at night - last bottle around 9:30 and wake up at 6.
I looked back and at 5 weeks she was eating 3 oz bottles for a total of 21 -24 ozs. So probably 7-8 bottles.
Are you doing paced feeding ( holding baby almost upright)? What brand of bottle are you using?
Thanks for taking a look back!! We're using dr. Brown's BC he seemed like he was feeding a bit slower with them. I'll try making sure he's in a sitting position, thanks for the tip! Just did a bit if looking around online, and a lot of people say that the ready to feed formula was easier on baby's tummy. Any experience anyone!?
I had a dodo bird moment today. We use prefolds. I changed him, got his jammies on, and was about to walk out the door when I remembered I hadn't put a cover on. Glad a caught it, he would have made a big mess in the hour it takes to get the kids to school!
I've accidentally skipped the cover a few times. Luckily I've caught it every time, but usually after I get her completely dressed and then see the empty cover. DS uses best bottoms so it's all one piece. Can't wait till this tiny girl fits into OS and we are out of prefolds and covers.
Oh am I there with you. I can't wait for matching tushies!!!!
My SIL is going to watch LO when I go back to work in a few weeks. I'm thinking I'm going to have to buy another set of everything (pack and play, swing, toys, etc.) so she can have at her house. Anxiety is building!
Would she consider coming to your house? All that stuff isn't cheap!
she has children. so unfortunately I have to take LO to her.

Yes it is. With my first I used it until he was 8 weeks old. With her I used it until 5-6 weeks and then switched to powder. Their guts seem to start being able to handle things better after a couple of months. Sam's Club has the best price if you want to buy a case of Similac Advance. Not sure about Enfamil.
A got her 2 month shots today. My calm, easy baby that never cries did fine until about an hour ago. She's been uncontrollably screaming for an hour and just projectile vomited all over both of us. She finally seems to have settled down and is sleeping on me, unless I move more than an inch. She won't nurse. I sent DH for Tylenol. Hopefully it helps. No fever. I just want to cry with her.

The good news is 2 month shots are the worst ones I found with dd1. She screamed bloody murder all day or slept. Nothing every other time she had shots. I'm not looking forward to them again for E.

Luckily she seemed fine after some Tylenol. Slept normal last night and was good today. C never had any issues with shots so this was new for me. I hope you're right and the 2 month ones are the worst! I hope E handles them well.

DS (2y.o.) is running a high fever (103.2) and didn't want to eat anything. I was only clued in because he was acting super emotional and didn't want to play this afternoon at the cookout we went to. Now I'm worried about him and really hope none of the kids he was around gets whatever it is
I know BM is good for pink eye and ear infections, so i thought i would give it a shot!
Did it work for you? My family probably thinks I'm nuts, I squirt boob juice on dd's bum to keep it from getting rashes. And around her eye to get rid of her little white head she got. Seems to work.
I'm really pissed today because DH got a call saying they wouldn't perform his vasectomy until DD is one because of SIDS risk. If my daughter died of SIDS, she could not be replaced. I think it's awful. Now it's back on me to get some sort of birth control. The mini pill is not effective enough for me. I basically want abstinence level effectiveness while still being able to have sex!

1 year!? I heard 6 months. My bil got his done when his third was 4 months. They told him about the SIDS risk and he said he still wanted it done. My sil's baby daddy the same after his second. Is there anywhere else you can get it done? I freaking hope we don't get told a year. No thanks to condoms for a year and I don't like any other forms.
DH just got his vasectomy last week. DD is 2 months. I think the doctor asked him about waiting because he asked me, but we both decided that our family is complete and even if the unthinkable happened we are done. He's still limping along.

I'm seriously at wits end with my dog. He barks ALL the time. When cars go by, when cars don't go by, when the mailman comes. Ugh. He wakes up E at least once a day. I dont know what to do with him!

We're there too. Or dogs have taken to fighting every night at dinner. No matter what we try they bark or fight once we sit down to eat.
We were slightly worried about BF in front of H's grandfather at the wedding/ rehearsal dinner and I ended up sitting right next to him at the rehearsal but he was totally fine about it. I was taking a few bites of food while I was feeding her. And he offered (and then followed through) to cut my steak so I could eat that with one hand too. Lol. I also feel like 100% fine with BF wherever after this weekend, so that's good.

Sigh. Im sorry. I think my pup is not used to our new normal. Hopefully it'll get better.
I did a target run this morning and while I was in the store there was a car theft in the parking lot. We were on lock down for about 40min. I'm glad I was in Target because I can live at that store.

I know! I'm hoping we can fight it. I think it may partially be due to DH's age (turning 27 this month), because his friend had the same doctor and he performed his before his youngest turned 1. He is in his 40s though. Or he may have lied, I'm not sure. We'll be fighting it out at least calling around. I also can't stand the thought of condoms or birth control. I've done enough on my end... Hopefully your doc won't have an issue!

Ohhh yes I've heard age plays a factor too if you are under 35. DH is 39 and my bil was 37 I think. It's dumb it's his body his choice.

Refusing to do it seems illegal to me, informing of SIDS risk is one thing but the decision of procreating is not for a medical provider to make. This seems weird to me.

I'm so sorry, it is a huge change for them and he is probably just tense and anxious about it. Try to give him as much attention (and exercise) as you can to reassure him and help him settle down. Hopefully he pulls it together soon!
