erbear- I get that way DH leaves sometimes. Hope it passes quickly!
My AP kids have their exam this morning. I got up early and baked them muffins. B is in a good mood and we had a really nice weekend. I also ordered a bunch of tops/summer clothes online last night because I never go clothes shopping anymore. Hope this good feeling and excitement continues all week!
Morning! Monday isn't off to a terrible start. DS woke up at 6, but went back down and slept while I got ready. I was able to get in and out of the store super quick to buy the ingredients I forgot for dinner tonight, and I'm looking forward to getting a pedicure tonight. Focusing on that and trying to ignore all the BS I'm about to have to deal with at work...
budders, at least your day is likely to get better!
We survived the insanely busy weekend. Well, L had a lovely time. I survived!
We tried a new playgroup this morning as L is beginning to get bored at the class we used to go to. It's brilliant for tiny babies, not so much fun when you're almost eleven months! She's a bit young for the new playgroup, but she loved it and she'll grow into it.
Swimming this afternoon. We might go for a short walk after that because the weather is stunning. I'll see what sort of mood she's in.
erbear hope it goes by fast. Today I'm doing a ton a laundry and cleaning to get ready to leave for two weeks to visit the in-laws. ..all while trying not to think about flying or the in-laws but thankfully my mom is feeling better so she's visiting today and I finally get to give her her Mother's Day present.

Good morning!
J has this new thing that he wants to be held all the time. More specifically, held so he can play with the light switches. He can turn them off, but not on.
Not much planned for this week yet. It's rainy and gross looking outside right now and is supposed to be that way most of the week.
I had a great weekend. We went to the zoo on Saturday and farm yesterday. The weather was gorgeous. And pre zoo we went shopping and found a patio/firepit set for our old hot tub area, and paint to redo the poles around it and the fence and steps in the old patio area!
This week, the weather looks cold and rainy. Which will be blah but well needed. We've had such an abnormally hot spring I'll have to get back in the groove of indoor activity haha.
Thanks, guys. I feel like a super spechual snowflake over it. I was REALLY bad last year when he left while I was pregnant and I didn't think this would bother me.

Sorry for everyone with a rough start today. We had an awesome weekend. H surprised by adding an extra day on to our Disney trip (in the fall), staying at a specific Deluxe hotel I've always wanted to stay at. So thoughtful! In other news, after realizing DD was being way too quiet in the kitchen by herself yesterday, I walked out to discover that she can now slide the screen door to the deck open and was sitting outside in the middle of the deck by herself. Oh.
Good morning! It's raining here so we are heading to an indoor playgroup around 9. LO still has her upper front teeth coming in. H is scheduling inspections today for the home we have an accepted offer on so hopefully we can both go sometime this week.
I have so many pregnant friends IRL right now! It's making me really emotional that we are two and done.
One of my close friends is having her rainbow baby due July 16th. I'm so happy for her!! After 5 failed IVFs her sister ended up donating her eggs and that worked on the first try. I get really emotional for her looking at her recent baby bump photos and remembering all the tears and heartache that she went through to get where they are today.

C just moved up in his gym class and he is younger by a handful of months too. From my experience with DD1 being with older kids teaches and pushes them Glad she liked it!
So far, Monday isn't starting out so bad! DD slept until 7:30 and DH is brining home sushi for dinner for Mother's Day because he knows it's my favorite and we went out with my family for dinner last night! And it's supposed to hit 70 today! Finally!
Kristykristyleelee, My allergies are TERRIBLE right now, I feel your pain. People keep asking if I'm okay because my eyes are so red and puffy. Haha.
DD1 is a crazy child today, so I'm just sipping my coffee while she destroys the place. Our mom and tot group is painting pottery today. I'm not sure how that will go with a bunch of toddlers painting breakable items, but we'll see... haha.
S is a teething mess. I took her to urgent care yesterday because I was convinced she had an ear infection, but nope....5 teeth coming in at the same time. Poor baby girl.
DH is taking DS to the doctor today because his cousin ran him over with one of those motorized cars and he's complaining of his nose and head hurting, and they may want to do x-rays. So nervous.
I had a pretty good weekend. Spent Saturday killing some of the farm/garden to-do list, and now my coldframe (tomato garden) is 95% planted, and I got started on the big kitchen garden as well. Yesterday we went to IL's and tolerated my niece and nephew for a while. SIL and her H went to Mexico and left the big kids with IL's, again. I went for a run, and then took T with me to the fabric store, got a few groceries, Starbucks, Lowes, etc.. Taking him places is fun still.
Today DD starts 2nd grade math She's already started 2nd grade everything else. I'm being responsible and trying to keep her doing schoolwork til June. It is so tempting to just say, "Summer break came early, go watch a movie while I sleep in..."
Lots of new babies on facebook. So many of our friends that got married when we did 8 or 9 yrs ago are just now having their first. Crazy.

J is down for his nap and I am eating pasta for breakfast. I started adding milk to his bottles today, so we'll see how that goes. So far so good though.

Happy Monday everyone! Today is recital day for the girls. It's a long busy day, but also exciting and fun. Last night when I was giving O his bottle he stopped, looked at me and said the clearest "mama" and smiled. Heart melted.
I've also started to feel emotional about the whole aging babies thing. I didn't know it was going to hit me like this! One of my good friend's baby turned 1 yesterday and everything sort of hit me then seeing his pics since we were pregnant at the same time. And I just went and updated DD's baby book and it made me realize how few spots are left to fill out. Sigh.
@babybean9 hope you are feeling better soon, that sounds awful.
