mcktymck , I can't even with the names. Some of the highlight girl names were: Blake December Paislee And all manner of names with extra "y"'s and "Leigh"'s.
To an extent I don't mind a lot of Liberty with names. I don't think boy names/girl names/last names are hard and fast rules. But why you gotta make it so your kid will correct whoever is spelling their name for the rest of their damn life?
There is a Kynadie in my DD1's class. What the fuck is the point of that absurd spelling??
There is a little boy "Bow" in DD's daycare class. I got so confused when I saw it yesterday.

cocobellaf you are not crazy, pregnancy is seriously hard and hormones don't help. Please find someone to talk to about all of this. I had very similar feelings while I was pregnant with DD. You matter very much and have had such a hard time. Go get checked out for the cramps and fluid and talk to your OB about these feelings.
I've had people ask if I spell DD1's name with a G or a J... It's Georgia. They think it's spelled Jorgia? I don't get it.
I teach a Jorja
Omg no. If you guys want hours of entertainment for bad names and spellings there is a thread on the baby names board called "As seen on Facebook". It has 75 pages of this kind of thing.

So my OB's nurse finally called back from this morning. They are giving me fenergan for the headache? And said to call tonight or tomorrow if it doesn't work.

Phenergan is a nausea med. I hope it helps. I'm on Percocet and phenergan. Feel better

I know, I was on it for the nausea a couple times in first tri, I just didn't know they used it for headaches. I'll try anything at this point though. 6 days is ridiculous.

My kid refused to go to the bathroom when we were near a bathroom so instead he peed as I was checking out at the grocery store. I had to leave our stuff, race into the bathroom, and throw him on the toilet. Huge mess. Fortunately, it was a pretty clean bathroom for a grocery store, and he loved the big toilet. And the checkout guy was super nice - even scanned and bagged my groceries for me while we were gone. He has 4 kids so he totally gets it.
Regarding names, my friend used to work at an online school so many of the kids were pretty odd (not dissing you if you choose to homeschool, but the stories she told were ridiculous). There were kids with numbers in their name. Like an actual 123 in their name. Why?

I lived on phenergan round the clock Thru mid January. I hope it helps!
Speaking of awful names...I'm watching Jill and Jess Counting on right now and every time Jess or Ben mention their baby's name Spurgeon it makes me cringe. Such a terrible name!
Brynly.... Is that a thing? Marron. Like the color? Or the fish? Does she mean Marion?
We had a Brynlee in storytime. Marron is French for brown, so it's obviously an exotic foreign name.
I've had people ask me how we spell DD''s name. It's Iris. Seriously?
My exciting news is that I had my midwife visit today. I had not heard back on my GD test at all and it wasn't in my chart so she had to call the lab. I was so nervous but...I passed! Yay. I almost cried. So far my stats were: measuring perfect, hb 157, weight gain 16 pounds total, blood work perfect. I was a star patient today. Then I went to McDonald's!

That is honestly one of the worst names ever. I thought it was a joke! I cringed whenever I saw it in the magazines at work!
cocobellaf I just want to send hugs and support. I didn't see what you wrote but it seems your having a hard time and I hope you get some relief from it soon.

Agreed! I understand it's the name of some sort of religious person and has meaning to them, but make it a middle name or something.

Yeah it's he last name of a popular baptist preacher. Charles Spurgeon. I would have went with Charles, or put it in the middle name spot. Spurgeon makes me think of the fish, sturgeon, or worse, splooge/cum.
