Someone shoot me now. DD3 was up from 1:45-2:45 screaming for no apparent reason (at least none I could figure out). At this stage I refuse to get her out of her co-sleeper, but she didn't want to drink, didn't want her paci, didn't seem uncomfortable, just mad. She slept somewhere in there for 10 min and I thought it was over, but then she woke up again and screamed for another 20ish minutes. The rest of the night she was also up pretty frequently. I *might* have gotten one two-hour stretch somewhere in there.

Pass the caffeine, please and thank you.
This was our night too. Up at 10 until 1230. Then up again at 145, 3 and 5. At least the last few times she ate and went back to sleep. So frustrating! I'm a wreck today. I slept in her room, ugh. 1 more hour and the littles will be up and Dh will be gone.
My 5:55 wake up call was not from the baby it was from the clattering hooves in the driveway. Sigh. One of my four legged problem children had liberated himself and was galavanting about. The dogs were also jerks at 5am. I got up with the kiddo at 12 and 4 which is our pretty regular routine. Which sounds like heaven compared to what so many of you are dealing with. Hope everyone has a good day.
Lots of wakes up here too. I'm pretty sure DD2 was up 3 times to nurse. So tired. I need to get new tires today. I hate car stuff but at least my husband is coming with me.

I spent 3 hours at the dealership last night. Thankfully Dh picked up the bigger two and the baby was calm, but not a fun way to spend my night. I hope your tires are quick!
I'm now wondering if baby is just overtired. We had a later than usual night Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. She didn't get a proper morning nap those days either. I'm a big believer to never wake a sleeping baby, but that's hard with two other kids needing to do things. So would you let your baby keep sleeping later than they wake up normally or wake them and get back on schedule?
Poor baby is having a hard time with her shots. Everyone is tired. I fell asleep while she was nursing last night. MH is lucky he didn't get a kick in the pants this morning. I was up three times with DD and he thinks his night may have been more rough than mine because even though he doesn't remember waking up he's really tired. Yeah... DS dreamed about Zambonis as he does every night. DD finally had that poop.

It has officially been way to long since I have checked in here. Life has been absolutely chaotic. We close on our house next week so I am hoping that things slow down from there. We are remodeling the kitchen of the new house before we move in and picking out paint and counter tops and everything is exhausting. Not to mention every night I come home from work and pack. Then I fight with DD for bedtime. We started CIO last night because girlfriend will not sleep in her bed. 1.5 hours later - she was asleep but it was awful. I had to keep myself busy otherwise I totally would have failed. I still don't know how I did it.

I would let the baby sleep later if I thought she was over tired. But, I have no idea what I'm doing.
valie, lol zambonis. One of my (male) college roommates told me that there are three things dudes can't take their eyes off of: boobs, fires, and zambonis.

We have story time and library free play today. I never did get that sushi a few days ago but im making it happen today! Ds is fighting his morning nap now.
mrsoscarfelix - congrats on the new house! Chaotic but exciting times. I will send good sleep vibes out to everyone's babies (and horses) this evening ...
Bad nights all around, huh? M slept from about 6:30-10:30, was up until about 12:30, and then up every half hour or so starting at 3. She wasn't hungry, popped the soother back in, turned her elephant back on and she'd go right back down for awhile. At about 5:45 she had part of a bottle and slept until 9, with a few soother replacement wake;ups. I feel like I didn't sleep at all.
Today is S's last day of school, so in about an hour we'll start getting ready to go. So glad I won't have to haul them on the bus anymore.

I feel like I'm fucking drowning and nobody gives a shit. I think it's just this week that has been particularly awful, but damn.
I hid on the loading dock for like 15 minutes this morning. If my boss said my name one more time I felt like I was going to snap. I mean, that is my job. I'm his assistant, but I just had to get away.

I let my baby sleep until 9 today, so I'm obviously in the let them sleep in camp. Once she's older if I notice sleeping in throws off the rest of her day or bedtimes I would probably wake. Dd2 gets lots of naps on the go so I'm not sure how great they are some days. If she wants sleep while we're at home, then sleep it is! (Plus, I'm hoping this one isn't quite as much of an early bird as her big sister. )

Wtf is up with tapatalk making me follow every person and thread I even basically glance at?
I'm not against following people, it's just never been something I've done on here and don't really see the use for. It is weird it's some automatic thing now. I don't like it.
I usually wake up bc im a huge stickler for routines. Unless it is the newborn stage, when they dont really have a routine anyway. silverspoon, I was just at panera too and they totally changed everything. No more buttered noodles for the kiddos! Dd doesnt eat anything there except cookies now, so if I want to eat there I have to bring her lunch w me.

We go to the library every Wednesday for story time. Usually one of the librarians reads a story, kids do a craft, everyone goes home. Sometimes they have special programs like singers, storytellers, etc you get the idea.
Today there was a bird show. We brought our blanket and sat outside with everyone. The two people running the show start out with parrots. They're beautiful and flying back and forth between the two of them while one is standing at the front and talking and the other person is moving through the crowd. So parrots are going back and forth and one freaking skims the top of my head. I freak out of course Bc it's a GD parrot and it just brushed my ponytail.
Next a turkey vulture comes out. Olive is terrified of it bc it's freaking huge and they have it spreading its wings. Same deal, it flies back and forth between the two people. This time it's big f*cking wing hits me in the head. More freaking out and everyone there is laughing because now I've gotten hit twice.
Next two owls come out. Nothing to see here. No flying thank god.
Next a hawk. More flying back and forth between the two people. It goes into a tree and two bluejays start terrorizing it so they bring it back in to feed it. With dead mouse pieces. MOUSE GUTS HIT ME IN THE BACK. The guy is literally peeling a bloody mouse piece off my shirt.
There's more.
Now ~10,000 parakeets come out. They're so pretty and smallish, so I'm like okay I can handle this. They are squawking up a storm and the baby is terrified and starts crying. So I take him somewhere where there aren't 25 birds flying around and leave Olive on the blanket. A MF'ing bird follows me and sits on my freaking shoulder. So I sprint away with the baby who is still freaking out. Then a bird lands next to Olive on the blanket. Cue her hysterically crying. I give the baby to a librarian and pick up Olive.
Bird show over. I have PTSD. I'm tempted to open a beer to decompress.
