cbrandt1, I've heard great things about Keen's but don't have personal experience with them. I got DD these Merrell sandals last summer and again for this summer.
Are they waterproof? I want the rubber bottoms so they don't hold moisture like his StrideRites.

My kids have Keens and I love them. They are waterproof!
cbrandt1, sorry I hit post too early - just added to my original post to note that I prefer Crocs or aqua socks if they are actually going to be submerged in water.

He has 2 croc's right now that are just about too tight so I plan on getting another pair of those too. But his croc's kinda stink too. He doesn't really wear shoes when we do water play, but I want water proof for the ease in cleaning and because his feet sweat sooo much!
cbrandt1 have you checked out natives? I think they are so cute and waterproof.
I have, but the reviews I read said they cause blisters and after trying them on him I think they will. The plastic around the ankle seems really stiff.
Eta- they also aren't supposed to be in direct sunlight...

Apparently I have no patience today.
Co-worker who got in almost an hour "late" (this place is somewhat flexible on start time but she was an hour late compared to official start of day) has been complaining about there not being any of her favorite bagels left... Show up on time and maybe there would be!
My favorite bagel was gone when I got here (on time!) and I'm not complaining! I don't want to hear about it!

Well looks like we're not going to know anything until Tuesday or Wednesday. Ultrasound tech can't really tell H anything. So more waiting. Oh well. Not going to let it ruin our weekend.
cassey910 love the grey and purple, that's what we would have done if this one was a girl. I wanted to do purple butterflies as a theme!
cbrandt1 I haven't had an issue with width so I can't speak to that, but we have had Keen sneakers and they hold up really well. Especially now at age 2 and constantly on some type of ride on toy outside dragging his feet! The front rubber is much stronger than most shoes.
I will say the sneakers aren't terribly flexible and he had a tougher time walking in them last year, but those sandals don't look like you would have that issue.

cbrandt1 another one for a grey crib! We got this one. I liked that it comes with the toddler bed conversion rail, most convertibles sell it separately. Also, DS's first crib was a Davinci and I've been happy with it.

Oh good to know - I've been considering those for my Lo.
serendipity731, DS is in a yellow Davinci Jenny Lind and I love it but I wanted a fully convertible one this time. I have a grey Davinci one on my wish list too, but I'm not sure how I feel about the look of it as a full size bed.
Eta- I really like yours too though!! It would look great as a full! It may be a new possibility for me!

fem yay for summer break! I got the iced green tea latte you recommended and it's so good!
I love all the grey nursery furniture! cassey910 love the color combo! Have fun spiraling on Pinterest!
singingsea sucks you have to wait until next week! Good call though, eat alllll the food the good thing is the doctor didn't think it was cancer, hopefully that helps a little.
cbrandt1 I don't have experience with width of shoe issues, but I don't think it'd be a huge deal. Better than too tight, I'd say.
DS has been waking up around 6am all week. Of course the day we have his early tumbling class he wakes up at 7:30. I had to rush through his breakfast but we made it. We're going to my in-laws this weekend but not much else going on today.

Thanks! It's a darker grey but I love it! I think it'll look cool as a full size too. A selling point for me was the dip in the front of the crib bc I'm a shorty and it's really helped me out! Lol
singingsea I'm sorry you have to wait. Waiting for something stressful sucks.
serendipity731 I got one this morning too! I wish they weren't quite so good.
My nesting bug is coming in handy since I'm spending the afternoon cleaning my office. I have been here 2 years and it really needed it. I'm finding lessons on projector slides...

Oh btw, I'm not surprised by the tommee tippee sippy cup recall that LadyNymeria posted. I got a couple bc I use their bottles and stopped using them after I washed it the first time and saw chunky shit coming out of that removable piece. It's impossible to clean inside that thing! Now we use one that has a removable rubber spout thing that cleans easily.

Omg I was so scared to look at them because all we use are the Tommee Tippee straw cups. We take them completely apart though and dishwasher them every time. There's literally no place for mold to grow in the straw cups unless you neglect to properly wash them. But the sippees look scary!

Has anyone done Stitch Fix for maternity clothes? I've only done it a few times for regular clothes and that was a few years ago but I'm tempted to try it for some maternity clothes bc i feel like I need some new summer pieces that I haven't been able to find on my own.
Passed my glucose test yay!! But the nurse said my iron is low so I have to take an iron pill. I guess this explains my lack of motivation to clean lol but somehow I have managed to keep up with my 2 and 1/2 year old.

That's funny timing you just posted that cassey910. I was just coming on to say that I came home to a letter from my dr saying that I need to start an iron supplement based on the blood work done during my glucose test Monday. Would explain the lack of 2nd tri energy boost!

So H got his results via mychart this evening. Not cancer! Phew. A type of cyst and we also found out he has a condition that effects his fertility. I wish I could remember the medical term. I wonder if that's why we struggled to get pregnant this time around. Anyway super relieved tonight!
