Hi all! DD seems to be coming down with the bronchitis H has. She has a fever of 100.4. She's been sitting on the chair laying still besides eating for over an hour now. Its so unlike her. We'll be spending the holiday weekend at home. We're supposed to go to our cousin's baptism tomorrow, but I don't know if we'll go. H is on meds and DD hasn't been to the doctor yet.
I'm sorry penguin129! I hope they both feel better soon!
DH is home today...he only had to work a half day so he brought his laptop home and worked this morning. I took DD to the zoo so she would leave him alone so he could work. She's in a phase where she wants absolutely nothing to do with me if he's around.

Ugg..rough day. DH tells me that his project that's ending is going poorly because we needed him too much, but this is the first I've heard of it. Is it too much to expect one's H to come home for dinner and bedtime if he says he will? He never takes any vacation and thinks it is a big gift if he gets home before 6. Very stabby I am.
Then picnic with the moms' group and there's a pond at the picnic location that has swimming but it has not opened for the season yet. No one tells me but other people bring their children in beach attire and of course my children are sad they can't swim, although it says the beach is closed and there are ropes, so I wouldn't have let them anyway. Then my child wants to dig in the sand with the other kids, but she ends up digging too aggressively so sand is flying around and I am not nearby because I am watching my other kid at the playground but the moms decide she is banned from the beach for this behavior. But the whole party has moved to the beach, so we play with some other kids for a while but just go home. Think I am done with this group.
@auri im sorry your dd is being difficult. Hope the phase passes soon. Hugs. penguin129, at least she's eating, that's good. Hope she gets well soon! brachysira that sounds like a very hard day. All my sorries. But wtaf to yh?! Not cool at all. I would def leave that mom group, that's just fucking ridiculous.

Sorry to hear your DD is sick! Hope she feels better soon!
I've been tired and headachey all day. Hoping I'll get some decent chunks of sleep tonight and feel better tomorrow!
Oh. I clipped someone's side mirror today and my mirror (just the face) popped off. I can't get it back in. Can't wait for another bad driving lecture from DH. Eta spelling
teraiin, how is J sleeping? Are you and YH tag teaming it?
Since I'm saying home now I've been doing like 99% of nighttime duty which stinks but MH does need to be able to function at work. I take a lot of naps lol
J has some bad nights but for the most part sleeps between 2.5-3 hour chunks. He was starting to give me 4 hour blocks but due to some (minor) weight issues the doctor has me waking him up after 3 hours until he gains some more weight.

Oh dear I feel you on lecture from husbands. Usually I'm beating myself up enough that he just over kills it

That's exactly what we do. Dh has a high pressure/physically demanding job and needs to be on top of it 24/7. Since im at home I do all the wake ups. It's ok though. Dh is good about letting me on wknds.
I hope J gains weight appropriately so he can sleep more at a time again!

Yeah MH drives heavy equipment so it's important he's not too tired to be safe. It's cool we are in similar situations with our husbands work and how we need to do the bulk of the wake ups and stuff most people around here are all "well I'd make him wake up too!"
We have another weight check this Wednesday so immhoping he will have gained enough!

I'm in the same boat, my husband is a police officer so on the nights he works the next morning, it's all me.

penguin129 hope your daughter feels better and she doesn't catch it!
Today is our garage sale, almost an hour in and not a single person has stopped haha. Nothing else really planned for this weekend, possibly a cookout tomorrow with my SIL and her fiance.
So DD has a fever again this morning. We're taking her to be seen around noon. She is in good spirits other than the fever. She's singing and playing the her doggie guitar to Frozen.

It's a good thing I took her in. She has Strep Throat. The test was "slightly positive" but enough for her to get treated. We caught it early. We're in house arrest for 2 days while she's contagious. I think my odds of getting sick are very high

Re motn wakeups: I always got up with DD for The reasons others mentioned. H had to drive an hour for work and I wanted him to be rested for the drive.
penguin129, Hope she feels better soon! Also, hope you don't get sick.
It's been a pretty uneventful day here. Went to Lowes to pick up a few screws for DD's dresser. She keeps unscrewing the knobs off of her dresser and lost one of the screws. Also picked up some paint...I want to redecorate her bathroom. What I really wish we could do is remodel the bathroom...I really don't like the lighting in there and I don't like the pink sink. Unfortunately, that is really low on the list of priorities for house repairs.

Glad you caught it early! Hope she feels better soon and fx that you can avoid getting sick!
I almost literally spent the entire day on the couch with DS who decided it was a cluster feeding day. I did manage to get a couple loads of laundry done and made dinner so I'll consider that a win!

My LO went through that phase once too. It was during the check-out at the lumber store, so maybe a whole two minutes. Lol.
