Anyone use/hear about a repositioning pillow or beanie? LO has a flat spot on the back of his head. We've tried laying him on his side at nite, but he moves a lot. He has his 4 month appt tomorrow and I'll be asking his pedi.
My mom had mentioned a repositioning pillow to me at one point but that's it. What did the pediatrician say?
Pedi said he favors his right so we need to try repositioning him to his left side.
Does anyone have a good long range baby monitor? We have a levana monitor but I don't think it's gonna cut it in our new house, which is very long.
I can test mine later today and see how far away I can get. We have a Motorola MB43. The parent unit does have to be plugged in once a day or it will emit angry beeps because of low battery so I plug it in at night.

Is it the video monitor? Bc I have that one. I've had it with me outside, and it worked all the way to the barn (but not inside the barn bc metal building). Just guessing I'd say it's a good 40+yards from there to the nursery.

It is. It cuts out all the time. And it can't make it across my dad's house. I think they have different models maybe?

Hmm maybe. I did have probs with it cutting out starting 30-45days after we started using it. I've found if I turn the camera off for at least a few seconds once a day, I don't have that prob.

jewel441 - I was able to get about 1 1/2 houses from ours before I heard the sound start cutting out a bit. It was sunny so hard to see the video but I'm pretty sure it maintained the picture. It was just the slight blip with the sound.

That sounds really good/far. I will have to look into that one. Thanks

I have a motorola monitor that also allows me to connect via an ap. It's awesome. Mostly because if H is putting LO to bed I can spy on my phone if I'm out.. shhh.

TTMA baby poop... specifically formula baby poop. I feel like LO has been constipated his whole life and I didn't realize it. He'd poop once in the morning but it would be the texture of like.... chunky peanut butter. He'd also strain every time and make grunting noises.
Now, he's on Nutramigen and I feel like he poops at least 9x per day. Is that normal? There is still some mucus but I think that's just the cows milk getting out of his system. He still grunts every time...

xxkimmy8xx - normally my LO's poop is formed, but greenish. I like to look up infographics to see what they describe and if it's normal for the formula you're using.
Not sure what we're going to get being on Soy. This is my first experience with it.

J has poops that are the consistency of creamy peanut butter or frosting. He grunts and strains, but no more than when he was getting more breast milk.

My LO poops a lot. Not as much as he used to but at least 4-6x a day. His poop is green and sometimes yellow/brownish l. Mostly soft like. He doesn't strain but he makes noises.

Pedi said he favors his right so we need to try repositioning him to his left side.
Brady's head is symmetrically flat in the back, not worse on one side or the other. He sleeps with his head striaght up all the time and moving it to the side doesn't help, he always moves it back at some point during the night. We're watching it until his 6 month appt and will reevaluate then. We may need a neurologist consult which would refer us to a helmet specialist if needed.

Dr said it's nothing to worry about, at least not now. We are trying naps on left side and more tummy Time
