DH and I stayed home from work today. Drive the boys to school, had breakfast at Ponderosa and just woke up from a two hour nap. Yes it's def a nap day!

I've been going and going and going since 7 this morning. DH and I knew we were moving and today we got the go ahead. So we now have 11 days to move out of the country and I'm basically just waiting for my first panic attack to hit since being pregnant. I'm trying to be optimistic because we did have our 16 week check up this morning and it went well! The doctor said that it *looked* like a girl, but she couldn't tell for sure. I was really hoping to find out the sex before moving, but I'm going to try to find a new doctor and get an appt before week 22. At least that's what my doctor recommended so they can do the A/S!

Edited because it's Monday and I just realized I posted this in a different birth month! Happy Monday everyone!
My boyfriend has been chosen to be the best man at a wedding in March and we just found out about it a week ago. It's a country themed wedding so he has to order this special western shirt and buy some Wrangler jeans. We tried to book the hotel last night and every single room at the hotel is booked. Apparently it never dawned on the groom to let us know until last week that 1) He's getting married in a month and 2) That my boyfriend is the best man. It isn't a huge deal because we can just get a room at a separate hotel but it sure would be nice for us to stay in the same place as the rest of the guests and the bridal party.
Why do some men put things off until the absolute last minute? I'm freaking out that we won't be able to get his special western shirt in time because we weren't given enough time to order. I'm freaking out on behalf of the bride!
I'm pretty sure if the bride finds out that her groom last being a procrastinator, she's going to flip!

My thoughts exactly. I told my boyfriend that he better order that damn shirt today or I'm going to be on him like white on rice!
I had my 28 week appointment today, and it hit me that I only have 77 days and 6 appointments left since I'll have a RCS at 39 weeks (30, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38 weeks). Shit's gettin real.
That's how I felt on Friday! Every time I have an appointment, I look ahead to how many more appointments I'll have. It's getting SO real! Although, I'm a FTM so I have no idea when I'll go into labor.
It has been so beautiful here in co almost 70 all weekend. We spent the whole weekend outside, and I didn't even see until this morning that we had a may baby born!
Good luck to everyone on their tests today!!!! Sorry if you have the yucky orange drink:(
lgsdesigner @ajzmommy DH was confronted by a coworker on Friday and she told him how she's got this crush on him and thinks of him a lot et. Long story short he shut it down right away and told me about it but now I'm like...obsessive that he still has to see her everyday. She's married but is very unhappy/unfaithful in her marriage and I just ugh. DH and I went through something similar at the beginning of our relationship and it was awful. I keep picturing a repeat and am stressing out.
bwisco123 - Okay...now I get the anxiety and stress over it since you went through something similar before. I know this has to be difficult for you, and I don't blame you for worrying, but if you really trust your DH, let him handle it. If anything else happens (comments, etc), your DH can file sexual harassment charges against her. Or...you two can meet her after work and talk to her. I don't mean a yelling match, but just a "come to Jesus" discussion that even though she is unhappily married does not mean your DH is up for grabs, and it's time for her to back off. Sorry you are dealing with this unnecessary crap.

t1green - Whoa...a MONTH out?!? Wow. Could it have been a case where his original best man bailed and so your DH is the replacement?! Either way...good luck.

No. I know it sounds that way but you'd have to know this guy. There are actually two best men because they've all been best friends since 1st grade. This guy is just very laid back.
I have serious food remorse, then I feel bad for having food remorse. It's a constant mental struggle, especially because before BFP I was a super healthy eater, and now I eat healthy every once in a while. I know sacrificing my body is totally worth it, but I'm so ready to be back to eating healthy because of wanting to be fit.
Pity party over.
Happy Monday.
@jerica - I hear you. I used to eat healthy all day everyday except for one cheat meal a week, and now I eat healthy about 50-70% of the time. I am able to keep myself in check a bit by logging everything I eat, but honestly, it's only 9 months of your entire life. Enjoy it a little now, then get fit after. Consider it a "mini-bulk".
I love that in my hospital they play a cute nursery rhyme when a baby is born. It always makes me smile!
You may love it, but something tells me the nurses can't stand it! They probably have nightmares about that nursery music because they hear it too much. When I used to waitress, I hated the song we sung when it was someone's birthday. The guests loved it, but I wanted to rip my hair out.
I am the WORST at scheduling my doctors appointments. My last appt was Jan 9 and I just called today to have them fit me in sometime this week. oops. I always have the intention of scheduling my appointments when I leave but when you bring a 2 year old who knows where the EXIT is, you skip it and tell yourself you'll call tomorrow...

I feel for all of you drinking your nasty drink today. I just survived my 3-hour glucose tolerance test. The drink they make you drink for this one is twice as concentrated as the first drink (for the one-hour one). It was disgusting ... I'm just happy I made it the three hours without feeling like I was going to vomit or pass out. I do feel like a pin cushion - they stuck me four times. And I may have gone thru the drive-thru at McDonalds as soon as I was done. Waiting on my test results now ...

Dang it norsern, this was going to be MY random. I had my glucola test last Friday (orange drink, not that bad, passed so box checked) and they booked all of my appointments through to my due date before I left. I spent a minute entering them on my calendar this morning and GOOD GRIEF...it just feels so quick already! February always seems short to me, and the fact that my appointments jump up to every other week in a little over a month is just bizarro.....
Oh, and as for those thinking about movement on the inside correlating to movement once they're running around your house, DS was a rock & roller early on in utero and hasn't stopped since. DD on the other hand seems to be much more subdued...she moves regularly, but more calmly....less major flipping and rolling that makes me catch my breath (so far) and more like position shifts that bump me with a knee or elbow or something (if that makes any sense). Anyone else have what seems to be a more chill, relaxed LO living inside them?

SassyPants150, lgsdesigner, CTri17, udubbaby Would anyone be down for a Fitness Friday Check-In or something like that? I know we did the Holiday one at TD, but I feel like that kind of fizzled. Maybe if we did weekly, especially getting towards the end, it would give some of us a little more motivation to get to the gym or to get active...
***I tagged the ladies I can remember off my head that are pretty regularly active at the gym. Not meaning to offend or forget anyone.

Seeing the nursery AW post reminded me:
Every time I start to develop nursery anxiety, I remind myself that the baby will be sleeping in our room in a pack n play for the first 6 weeks, anyways. I have plenty of time!

@gfj48 I'm sorry you're still having trouble I don't have a solution, but I hope you get relief soon.
@jerica14 I have something like you too. If I wasn't pregnant right now, I would be getting my body ready for summer and bikinis! My fiancé is getting back on his healthy kick and I feel bad because I can't stop eating junk.
jvega1 I was happy to see 40 this weekend. You're a lucky duck
My random is that my baby is ALWAYS asleep on my right side. It's so weird that she has a favorite side. I very rarely feel her on the right. As the day goes on my pain increases in my back and now my ribs in the front. Sleeping on my left side is the only thing that makes the next day not be as rough. At least it helps! Maybe try this if you are experiences something similar.

nurserachel22 - My son prefers the left. He gets mad if I sleep on my right and starts kicking me..ha!

Yes! My girl does the same thing. My back pain was so bad I missed work. Cried many nights too! I don't want her to come early, but I PRAY she will not be overdue.

nurserachel22 - Damn. I'm sorry! That is horrible. Pregnancy is not always good to us. Hence..why we have a Mother's Day in our honor!
