Hello GKU. I've been lurking here for a bit but after CD 1 started 2 days ago, I thought now would be a good time to intro. My husband and I have been married since Oct 2011. We welcomed a daughter in 2014, so she is 19 months now. We have been TFAS since December. I had a CP in February a few days before my birthday :/ I figured I need some extra support since each month that my period comes I get nervous that something is wrong, and I can see it in my husbands face as well. Anyway... We are both born and raised in MA and live north of Boston. I'm a nurse and love my job. Looking forward to talking with everyone here.
@led.. How do you know I'm healthy? And how can you tell it won't take me longer than a year?
Based on the information you provide, we would assume you're healthy as you don't mention any health issues that would effect TTC. The vast majority of couples with no issues get pregnant within a year...I don't recall the exact percentage, someone can jump in with that but I believe it's in the 80-90% range. Of course, even a couple with no fertility issues can take longer than a year but that percentage is pretty low. A year is pretty much the standard time to seek testing for fertility issues. Not getting pregnant in 6 months (or now 4 months since your CP, sorry to hear about that) is not even close to indicating a problem.
ETA: and I think your intro on Trouble TFAS after 5 months of trying was super premature as well. Impatience =/= trouble.

You didn't mention any health problems that would indicate a problem. And it doesn't matter at this point if it does or doesn't take longer than a year. The point is that you haven't even been trying for a year.

Shrug. The implication that she is freaking out is odd. It's ok to feel worried or anxious. Anecdotally, my OB told me to come back after 6 months of TFAS if not successful.
Anyway, I hope you're successful soon and don't have to stay long. Lots to be learned here!!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

Welcome to the board. I'm so sorry for you loss. Give it some more timr before you start worrying. I know that is easier said than done; but even if you conceived your LO quickly, your body is different now and it might be take a little bit longer.

@wallflwr926 you'll probably catch me drunk posting frequently so no judgement here! And you make a great point.. I did breastfeed till the same month we started trying so maybe things are just trying to get back to normal? Thanks!

That can definitely make a difference for some people.
