Well, so far I've been up since 4:30 with a freaked out dog whose terrified of storms and out of meds, two cats who can't understand why the dog is freaked out, horrible heartburn and off and on BH. The good (?) news is that bc of the RNCevery court in the county is closed this week, so at least I don't have a lot of work today. Nap is totally happening
I'm up working. I shouldn't complain because I just work PT from home, but I am sooooo ready for my maternity leave. A small part of me thought I wouldn't be working today. Well, baby has her own timeline, I just wish I knew what it was!
That's the hardest part for me, the not knowing when she is coming! I had quite a few contractions yesterday evening and I was hopeful something would pick up, but nope. Oh well, just trying not to drive myself crazy over it. (Can you tell it's working? )
I woke up early too, but managed to get back to sleep for about a hour before mh's alarm went off. I will likely have a nap too!
I hear you on the not knowing when it will happen elm1214, i am sorry it didn't happen for you this weekend. I don't want them to come just yet. But in a week and a half when the ring comes out i will be ready to get this show on the road. I am hoping that the dr will give the ok for me to start doing more again, to hopefully get things moving, if my water doesn't break when it comes out, which is a good possibly apparently. We will see.

Last night was the first time I was in too much pain to sleep. It was pretty rough. And our AC is apparently broken. So I am a barrel of pleasantness this morning.

dc2london broken ac is my nightmare. I'm sorry for the rough night!
I'm hoping to get out and buy some of the things we still need for the nursery/my hospital bag today. We'll see how far I can get - DS seems to be in a cooperative mood.

We had this problem last year too, and they added a bunch more coolant. We also had our heat go out right in the middle of a terrible cold snap this winter. I really think Landlord might need to replace the unit bc it's almost as old as me

We had the same thing when we had our apartment - the landlord kept trying to "fix" it, and it was obvious to us that the unit just needed to be replaced. It was exhausting.
High of 96 + constant Braxton Hicks + 7 hour Saturday work day + no experiment needs me until tomorrow + only computer work today = Joy is working from home.
We also have Phils' tickets tonight but I don't see how I could possibly sit outside, in the shade, in this heat.
Monday's usually suck here but it's not too too bad, they finally turned the AC on in our office which is nice. Also my CW in front of me is off for the week so she won't have her space heater on either.
Last night I met up with my old boss for dinner and she gave me more clothes. I have a TON of clothes now, so would I be a dick if I exchanged the clothes for bigger sizes? I have a ton of NB and 3 month, so I want to focus on 3-6 or 6 months for clothes. What would you guys do?
I finally finished the bookshelf for the nursery and I started the dresser yesterday, I'll put the first coat of paint on the drawers tonight.
I'm crossing everything that MH puts the crib together this weekend or at least brings it up to the nursery so I can put it together. I love putting together furniture!
dc2london I'm sorry about the broken ac. Take all the Target time you need
I'm off to the chiropractor this morning, then taking the dog to vet so we can re up meds. She's doing well on the prozac for daily maintenance of her anxiety, and we tried a new drug Sileo, for acute storm/fireworks noise. It's amazing and if you have a dog that is terrified of storms I highly recommend it. We used our last dose last Thursday and last night's Strom was bad news.
Other than that I think I'll work on some cleaning and pack my hospital bag!
I deleted a pregnancy app a few weeks ago bc first it said, "If you have low pain tolerance, you may choose to use an epidural " and then, "In the third trimester, you need 200-300 extra calories. That's about 2 oz of almonds!" Yeah, STFU, app.

Hahaha. I had one say that in early pregnancy I needed some extra calories so I should drink an extra glass of milk. I was like "Okay, well... what about another handful of cookies?"

We exchanged clothes with tags still on numerous times at Carters. My thought is that people want their gifts to be used and you really only need so many clothes in each size, If they are just sitting in a drawer or in the closet than the gift really is wasted.
Now I'm sure someone might get offended that their gift was returned for a different size, but you can't win them all.
youdontsay I would exchange. You only need so much clothing in one size
I was sorting through clothes this weekend and I have SO MANY 3 month clothes. Like I could do three outfit changes a day and still have clothes left over!
This is partly my fault because the minute someone asks if I want their hand me down baby clothes I automatically tell them yes! I think I have 3 new 3 month clothes
Good morning! I finally had a good night's sleep last night - which was surprising because of the super long nap I had yesterday. What a relief. I am also going to the chiro today, and then back to work for the rest of the day.
I have my last growth ultrasound a week from tomorrow, but I am considering trying to reschedule it for this week. I am really impatient to know, especially with my confusion around changing insulin needs. Although, I'm pretty sure they're just going to schedule an induction no matter what, so maybe I shouldn't rush it too much...

Oh no I did this to with DD and wound up with 20 boxes of Rubbermaids filled with clothing from nb to 2t. I could start a store lol and of course we are having twin boys and all of her clothing is in awesome condition because there was just so much of it!! The poor boys have like no clothing oops
Today is my first day in my new position working from home! Boo to training but hooray for sipping coffee in my pjs while reading through said training.
dc2london I feel you on the AC thing. For some reason the vent in our office isn't working. I'm not going to be very patient with our landlords about this one.

Sorry about all the crummy sleep. Anyone taking umisom? My doctor said it was fine to take a few times a week to make you your get a good nights sleep when you need it. I've been taking 1/2 a tablet about 3nights a week. It makes a huge difference! I also don't wake up to pee as often maybe 2 or 3 times a night vs 1000000.
I got a nice surprise this morning. DD wake up a little early 6:50 and called for me. I refuse to get up before 7:00. I tool her back to bed with me, she slept untill 8:30!!! She never sleeps that late, and i really needed it. I got over heated yesterday watching her play in her splash pool and felt sick the rest of the day, then had a major headache for most of the night. The extra sleep was just what I needed.

I don't know if you've looked around, but near me there are consignment events that are held twice a year. If you want to consign clothes, it's all done online and you just have to drop the clothes off. We're definitely doing that this fall with NB size clothes and some of the hand me downs that say "auntie's favorite" or whatever since H and I have don't have any siblings lol.

I thought about it, but I have two younger siblings so it's all at my moms incase they have a girl as they both want kids eventually as long as it's not in my house I'm happy haha
