Is there anything you feel like you can't live without? I saved most of DS's stuff and most of the big items are pretty neutral.
I will need a new carrier car seat. His was recalled but he had long outgrown it so we didn't replace it. I need one that's compatible with the joovy scooter stroller. I also want the little skateboard that goes on the back for DS to ride on.
A highchair, ours broke but he was big enough for a booster so we just went with that.
I'd like a new diaper bag. I saw one online at Target that I liked.

A new car (I don't think a rear-facing seat will work in our current car with how tall DH and I are).
I want a co-sleeper bassinet. But if any BTDT moms had one and hated it, let me know if they're stupid. In my mind, though, it will be great for our small house.

Nothing I can't live without. I would, however, like to strengthen my squish stash for wraps.
I am also in the "larger car" category, but we've got a weird switcharoo that we're going to have to do anyways, so not sure how that'll all pan out. Our current vehicles are a 2010 Scion xD, a 2012 Jetta Sportwagen TDI, and our third, almost never used, 1999 Chevy Suburban. The Jetta will need to be traded in at the buy back because there's about a $4k advantage to that vs. taking the cash payout and fix. We love the car, but if we're forced to do the fix we may not want then it's worth it at that point to get rid of it. So then we have to figure out what to buy. It's all up in the air at this point.

I loved the Co sleeper! It was great not having to get out of bed before DS slept thru the night.
Love my Vera Bradley diaper bag. I'd like another one of those. I'm on the fence on weather we should get dd a toddler bed, or just buy another crib. We are going to have to clean out and get her big girl room ready. That will require several purchases. So not really baby related, but kind of.

Mattress on the floor. At least until they get the idea that there's no rails around the outside.

She does sleep on a cot at daycare (that is close to the floor), so that could definitely work.

We got rid of almost all the baby gear when DD was 4 months and no longer STTN so we convinced ourselves that we really only wanted 2 kids instead of a bigger family. Then we changed our minds. We are just planning to move DD to the toyroom and use the nursery for the new baby with only a few decor changes since we went pretty neutral. I am also trying to figure out if we buy another crib for DD that converts so she can stay in it a while longer or go straight to a big girl bed.
I also would love to get a wrap and a mesh Tula too. I love my current Tula but if this is a boy I think I can make my case for another 😜.
A new car would be ideal although my husband said 3 years so I doubt it. I have had my eyes in the new Yukon denalis. I figured I can just wait and show him how I will have no trunk space in my suv with two rear facing and my son still in his high back booster with harness. The double stroller will take up the remainder of my trunk.

I'm debating the double stroller. DS will be 21 months when this baby arrives, but I almost never used the stroller and just wore him for probably at least the first six months, so, I'm debating on if it's super necessary, or if we can get away with one stroller, or possibly just buy a cheaper umbrella stroller for him for family outings.
We'll also need another crib - the one we have now is the kind that converts to toddler bed, and then full bed, so we plan on just buying something similar for the next one, and hopefully it'll last them forever.
I'm also borderline debating another rock 'n play to have one on each level of the house. It was sleep magic for the first one, so while the logical part of me realizes that if the baby needs to be put down for a nap and we're upstairs (where the playroom will be), it wouldn't be that hard to walk to the nursery and put baby in the crib. But with the first kid at least, he slept 10000 times better in the rock 'n play. I don't think we even used his crib for like, the first three months. He slept in the rock 'n play for naps, and the pack 'n play in our room at night.
OMG LOL at $150+ diaper bags. Gosh, they're beautiful, though! Adding to my "what can I find at the consignment sale this weekend?" list.
(Please note they're probably worth the price, but I'm cheap AF.)
Just find a large purse at Ross. If it doesn't have a ton of pockets for organization and such, get a smaller bag or two to keep inside it to keep the kids' stuff sorted out.

OR you can get a little backpack and throw everything into that. They usually are pretty good with pockets too

+1 CHEAPAF
We just used a backpack. Realistically, we leave a wet bag with a package of wipes and a diaper or two in each car. I throw fruit snacks in my purse. Boom. Done.
stroller for 2. No idea which one. convertible car seat. crib more cloth diapers
A new car would be great but totally out of our budget. I love my current car (2011 Ford Edge) but I wouldn't mind a change. A bigger house would be amazing but... not in our budget...
I've already accepted the fact that I'll be that FTM buying all the things
I was that FTM and STM since my kids were 4.5 years apart and I forgot what we really needed. I don't have much hope for this time either although I feel I've paired down each time. The only thing I know I won't buy is an infant seat, going straight convertible seat since I'm assuming there will be lots of baby wearing with three kids in tow.
I want a sit and stand type stroller that can hold an infant car seat AND the stand part in the back has an attachment like thing that converts it to a seat.
I think this thing exists but at a very tall price point so for now I'm stalking craigslist and garage sales I. The expensive neighborhoods.

Girl. All that shit they tell you that you need? You don't. Bumbo? Used it twice. RnP? Never had one. Pack n Play? Didn't have that either. Nursing cover? What a pain in the ass. If you 'need' it, buy it used. You'll be surprised at how much space all that shit you never use takes up.
obi I drive a Ford Edge and I have found it to be super roomy for carseats. I'll be using it as my primary vehicle with 3 across.
But of course a new car is always fun!
britab I had a similar age gap with my first 2 and I got by with a single until recently. Your big can walk or get a boogie board to attach to your single. You mentioned an Ergo. Between babywearing and the big walking we were fine.
I just got a double knowing we would have 3 sooner than later and I was doing StrollerStrides and it is not easy working out with a baby strapped to you!
And for pumping bra, not sure what it being adjustable means, but buy a cheap Walmart nursing bra and cut holes in it! Spend what you save on something fun.
Add me to the big boob club. Sitting over here at a 32GG. @amc25 want to link the measurement site pretty please? I could use a remeasure.
danvers like 3 seats? I don't think I follow. The Graco Ready2 Grow plus a boogie board? I have a City Select and will add a boogie board, but it doesn't have a "sit" that is not a seat.
And I just want to say how f-ing excited I am to live vicariously through you all shopping. I am so excited for all of us to start buying things!
It like a sit and stand that has that ability to convert the "stand" part to either a place to hold the infant seat or to a "second" seat (or just leave it as the "stand") part of the stroller. I think Joovy makes them but I don't want to pay full price and I'm not sure if other brands have these functions or not.
We have a city mini gt and I like the scooter board but E would barely be 2 and I don't know if she could handle that or not.
My SIL has it. It is functional, but not as fancy as higher end brands.
Thank you! I will now be keeping my eye out for this! Garage sales haven't been great lately but a lot of churches hold fall rummage sales around here so I'm gonna keep an eye out
@justinslovo you can fit 3 across? Im surprised! I love my edge and find it very roomy but I didnt think it was that roomy haha. My H will be happy since he is dead set on 3 kids.
