Hope you get a good night's sleep (I'd probably get myself too worked up, but you sound like you're handling this well!) and that everything goes well here on out. Good luck.
My 12:30 procedure got bumped back because of an emergency csection. So I was hanging out in in L&D in a room waiting to go in. When the charge nurse told me I begged to be able to have some water at least because I hadn't had anything since the MOTN, and last ate at 11:45pm!
She checked with the anesth. and doc and they said I could have clear liquids until noon (it was 11:25). So she went on a hunt and had nurses bringing me stuff... Ive never been so thankful for 2 cups of chicken broth, 2 small apple juices, a glass of water and a little tea! Seriously it saved me.... I had a horrible headache from not eating/drinking more! But besides t..... My H had to go to work, but my mom was here with me.
Procedure was delayed until almost 4, but was pretty quick once I went back. I was finally able to eat solid food at 5PM! While I was in the OR my mom got me a foot long Italian sub from subway, with doritos and a coke! I had (still have a little) a horrible headache from not eating, so the coke was a necessity!
Everything went well. Nugget had flipped and she needed to push, poke, and jab to get baby to move. Luckily it worked and she was able to get a good angle to get in there. It was pretty uncomfortable for a few minutes, but I did it with just the local and didn't need the spinal. She said I did great... I felt pretty exposed for awhile and there were lots of people in there... Expected for a university hospital.
I had to stick around here for a few hours for observation before I leave, doc wants me to stay for observation until 9, almost there! H came after work to relieve my mom.... I thought for sure I'd be home by now. Glad to be done though, with a full belly!
So glad baby cooperated in the end and it went well! So stressful when they push things back, and starving on top of it. Hope you get a good night's sleep after all that. FX that this will be the solution for the rest of pregnancy and whatever will have to be done afterward will fix it permanently.

Yay! So glad it went so well. I hope this is it for that stupid growth now! Keep us posted. Hope you're feeling better, you have a full belly, and you got some great sleep after all the commotion
I had my first follow up appointment yesterday afternoon....
Bad news: Nugget is grounded immediately after birth. The shunt was yanked out and floating around by the head.
The good news is the size of the growth looked good, and it drained quite a bit from Tuesday, so doc was happy. She said sometimes it can heal over the shunt a little (if it was left alone long enough) and continue draining a little on its own. If we're lucky, that could be enough to just monitor it... If not, we go back to the OR and do this all over again.
My next appointment was already scheduled for Monday, so we'll see then how the mass is doing. Growing fast, slow, not at all, or still shrinking.... Based on Mondays measurements we'll figure out what's next.
