I totally thought it was Saturday until I checked my calendar to add a date to the thread title. :/
I was going to say "stay at home mom problem" but I'm pretty sure that's just a mom problem.
DH decided to take today off of work. I'm selfishly disappointed because I get fewer naps with him home and it's thrown off my days. I keep thinking today is going to be Friday but it's not lol
Ugghhhh DS woke up at 345am and won't go back down. DD will be home today so I probably won't get to nap. I'm so tireeedddd. if I can get DS down in a few min I might be able to sleep for an hour. Maybe.
Hope you get some good napping in teraiin! And FX your DD will let you get in at least one good nap today mrsw062610.
MH was awesome tonight. He has to work today (Thurs) but he volunteered to take DD for the whole night (10-6) because he knows the last couple nights were rough on me. Fell asleep around 11:30 and woke up at 1:30 to pump and he gave her the 4.5oz I pumped. I also defrosted 5 oz from the fridge for the rest of the night and divided it into 2 and 3 oz bottles (it's now 2:30). MH is helpful but also a bit frantic. He was like "I might wake you if the 5 oz isn't enough." Dude, it should be enough! He has a tendency to assume she's hungry because she's not sleeping. "Oh she's still awake, let's give her another bottle."
And it just occurred to me that I should be indulging in some quality guest room baby-free sleep instead of TCFing about this! Gnite

H has been doing the second feed at night (usually after 3) to help for when I go back to work. Well after a few nights it seems to be worse than me getting up to feed DS. H bangs around the kitchen making a bunch of noise while DS screams. I don't end up feeling like I get more sleep because I'm worried about DS and wondering what in the hell H is doing (he will go up and down the stairs multiple times).
I think I may ask if he would be OK with me just waking him on nights that DS is having trouble sleeping to have him help then.

It is like the babies knew MH was going back to work last night. The girls had to be held to fall asleep after waking up in their cribs so they didn't get moved back into their room until 12:10. Then they proceed to be fussy sleepers. Hopefully tonight they are back to what has been the norm prior to this.

Well my plan of putting him down early backfired. He was up every 2 hours starting at midnight. I'll take a solid stretch of sleep from 12am-4/5am over a half awake half asleep stretch from 8:30pm-12am.

Give me all the coffee today!!
H did the same thing last night... After sleeping 8 hours straight the night before. 😩 I pulled him into bed with us around 5, but he was STILL Mr. Grumpy pants. This morning he had 2 giant poops, so I guess that's what he was working on? Anyways, we are napping all day today.
Day two on cradle naps has been better. He falls asleep in the cradle on his own in just a few minutes and he's good until the 45 minute mark and then he starts fussing. I was able to replace the paci(3 times) to stretch his second nap to somewhere between an hour and 30 minutes and 2 hours. His morning nap was still only 45 minutes. I'm loosely following the schedule on practically perfect baby. But I don't really feel comfortable with their advice of letting them cry for 15 minutes x3(with checks in-between each 15 minutes). So 45 minutes in total. Nope, I just can't do that.

Damian has been a Mr. Grumpy Pants unless being held. He just wants to sit up more than the bouncer will allow so we ordered a fisher price sit me up and a boppy chair since I can't hold him up on my lap all day, especially since Laurel has been doing it too. So little man and I napped quite a bit today, unintentionally on my part.

I have been eyeing the fisher price sit me up big time! It looks so cool but I feel like we already have so much stuff!

I have one but we haven't used it yet. I feel like he doesn't really have quite the head control yet. Granted DS is quite a bit younger than your trio.

So I ordered a bottle warmer that has a cooler attached. We will put it in DS'S room for H to use when he does the early morning feeding. Will make it much easier for H and he can hold DS while the bottle warms up. Win!
I'm so impressed with H. He's really stepped it up this time around. Hoping it continues once I go back to work.
