After 2 months of sleeping in my toddlers twin bed, I slept on my own bed last night!!! It felt like sleeping on a fluffy comfy marshmallow! And I will mention - my bed was toddler free for the first time in months!!! We (I mean I) got her to sleep in her own freaking bed - for the whole night!!!! If we can repeat this tonight I will be so happy!!!
Why did my baby decide that a day when I needed her up at her normal 3:30 wake up would be a good time to sleep in? Haha. On that note, wish us luck flying with a 2 year old and a 12 week old!
DS (our little Clomid miracle) born Sept. 25, 2012 Baby #2 lost at 8w3d on March 4, 2015 (EDD Oct. 11, 2015) Baby #3 lost at 5w2d on April 16, 2015 (EDD Dec. 15, 2015) Baby #4 lost at 4w1d on May 20, 2015 (EDD Jan. 25, 2016) DS2 (our little rainbow miracle) born May 25, 2016
DS slept in the cosleeper for a good few hours. That's 100% more than the first night. I miss him, even if he's just a food away, but I love having space!
I've been up for an hour and a half because I heard DS fussing and I haven't been able to fall back asleep. I've got to work today so I'll def be treating myself to some coffee. And I mean the good stuff from the coffee shop! Maybe I'll even get a nap in after work before DH brings the kids home from daycare?

I have R in bed with me and she keeps getting closer and closer. Give me some space kid! I hate having to try to move her, I always think I'm going to wake her up.
In other news I've been looking at cars online and have a few in mind for h to test drive. Hopefully we can find a good h used one and don't have to buy new.

Good luck. I dread car shopping. My truck, despite seeming fairly new to me (an '08) is on borrowed time. So I know we will need to start searching soonish.
DS had explosive diarrhea 30 minutes into our morning commute...out the sides of the pull up, up the shirt, all over the car seat. Then at daycare drop off he backed up against the glass entry door and smeared poop all over it. So yeah. My day is starting off amazing.
This sounds like a monday morning and not a Friday morning.

Oh man!! This made me chuckle, but then I realized that this could be me someday and I got very serious.. I hope that your Friday goes a lot smoother for the rest of the day!!!

I was apparently really ambitious with my expectations on pumping and got an 80 pack of milk storage bags (mostly because of the price difference, made more sense). But there's no way I'm going to use them all. I'll honestly maybe use one or two more and call it quits.
Would anyone here want them? They're Kiinde twist bags. No charge, but I wouldn't mail them out until next month when I'm sure I'm done with pumping.

If no one else wants them. I only bought a very small pack and am almost out. BUT since I'm staying home my need isn't as great as a working mom so..

Oh no! I hope you're day has gotten better. Hopefully this is one of those situations that you can look back on and laugh at! But def not at the time

Good luck traveling! You're much braver than I am ☺️

This is baby I. Usually he picks one of us and slowly wiggles closer and closer throughout the night. So we keep scootching our pillows farther and farther out. The last few nights I've ended up with limbs on the floor (we have a floor bed) haha. This kid takes up way more than 1/3 of our bed.

Just keep thinking of my friend cuddling her newborn baby conceived after 3 rounds of IVF and it makes me cry so much thinking of all she and I both went through together to hold our babies. I can't wait to go meet her little one. And hopefully have our girls grow up together and share the bond of friendship we had.

DS got his shots yesterday evening. He has had a hard day today so far, just cranky and clingy. Thank goodness my MIL is here to help because I don't think I could manage him and DD's pain management at the same time by myself. Somehow we managed to get them both to sleep a few minutes ago.
The bright note of yesterday is that DS has doubled his birth weight...in 9 weeks. The dr joked that he couldn't find his neck due to his double chin but told us to keep up the good eating.
