Good morning all. Hope you have a good day. I'm up early. DD who is two barely slept last night. I am fighting a cold so the lack of sleep is not gonna help.
Of course the husband is still asleep snoring away.
Good morning! I slept really well last night which is so rare at this point. YAY! Turning over in bed has progressed from uncomfortable to quite painful, I woke H up yelling "ow!" last night trying to swing my legs over.
Last night we were super productive. Today I feel tired and lazy! But there are a bunch of things I need to get done. Thinking if I relax for a bit this morning maybe I can build up the energy for later.
venyia, we have been having similar issues here lately. Although, ds1 behaves so well when we are out or with others and then is totally opposite at home. And my patience level is practically non existent at this point. He is occassionally napping, often not, but "quiet time" results in him coming out of his room 1,000 times. I am exhausted! We just got the "ok to wake" clock to see if it helps at all.
The past 2 days, I have had painful contractions on and off. Last night during dinner I had 3, 6 min apart. Then I went to the couch and they stopped. I wish my uterus would make up its mind.
Yesterday, all of the sudden, ds felt super warm. Took his temp - 103. He asked for a bath, and as dh was running it, ds puked everywhere. So glad dh was home because I did not want to deal with all this by myself! This morning ds won't eat too much but is doing ok with pedialyte, and perked up after some Tylenol. Luckily no more pukes. I'm hoping he gets better soon - do not want a sick toddler when I go into labor!
I give a lot of credit to you mommies that have toddlers! In about 2 weeks I'll be 9 months pregnant and back to school teaching middle schoolers again and I'm SURE my patience will be gone with them real quick! lol
Morning. I had a nice small shower/lunch yesterday with some of my family. I was so active yesterday I didn't notice baby moving too much and she's been quiet this morning too so I have my feet up and I'm drinking an ice cold orange soda. I've gotten a few kicks, but I would like a few more so I can stop worrying
Trying to enjoy our last day today as a family of 4. Technically I have tomorrow, but DH will be at work. Trying to wrap up the rest of our to-do list, so I can just relax and spend tomorrow snuggling my big girls before everything changes.
bocaburger! Omg i am exactly the same. I have like very little upper body strength so using only my arms is hard. I have no doubt i have gained some muscle just from getting out of bed. Ot is especially hard when i am facing the middle of the bed.

My induction is getting started. I'm only 1cm and 50% effaced. It's going to be a long road I think. The nurse keeps saying "your body has done this before" so hopefully it will get the message and start contracting. Otherwise I guess I could pop out a baby in 72 hours or so... Sounds terrible! So far I've got the Foley bulb in - do not recommend!!
Also, why does my two year old run away screaming when I tell her it's time to change her diaper? Two year old logic....it's killing me slowly
Yasssss.... but only after she tells ME she needs a change. Good luck to me getting my hands on her. I finally had her pinned down on the floor yesterday but it hurt like a bitch cuz one of my internal organs got pinched painfully. I have decided no more getting on the floor.

Good luck and speedy baby vibes!! I think I realized why I like Clara for a name... it is just 1 letter away from our girl name choice, haha! I didn't realize it yesterday, they don't necessarily sound the same.

My phone thinks it's only 85 degrees outside but I don't believe it for a second. I walked 4 blocks to Starbucks and you could have cooked an egg on my skin lol. I should have gotten 2 drinks because I had almost finished mine by the time I got home.
I live in the Phoenix area. The heat has always sucked but it was doable. Now that I have a two year old, the heat super sucks because she just wants to be outside.
We had a lovely family breakfast out this morning. So of course DS will never be that good at a restaurant again. Now I'm stuffed and exhausted.
I'm also going to need people to stop commenting on my body alltogether. The guy checking me out at target said I looked like I was about to pop. Then the lady bagging my groceries at Publix reached over and rubbed my belly...

When I went mall walking yesterday people were giving me these looks of terror like my water was going to explode all over them at any second.
Someone just made the very good point that this child is the only girl, the baby, and a Leo. And clearly already a bit of a diva. I am cracking up. We are in so much trouble.
